as of patch 1.05 this no longer works, the only way this could ever possibly still work is if you were to start over completely from scratch, you would have to delete save data AND game data and play offline till you achived this, as soon as you play online again its impossible sadly
U can also use the grass crest shield, that way u will never lose stamina. Personally i think glitches like this ruin the game and i don't like to use them but i guess it's up to the user.

@flashinmahcash yes it does, but try to use a moderate soul to not screw the glitch up on a soul you wont get back. hero souls work best for this sort of thing.
on my 2nd playthrough and so frustrated becuz humanity is so hard to get at low lvl, i search internet for easy humanity(easier than rat and skeleton baby farm) and i found this... i feel like wanna try this, but it'll ruin my game experience. So i think i will pass on this, its too overkill. But hell, at lvl40-70 or near half way thru the game, i can get over 30 humanity anyway, and i can use the forest soul farm.

@MrGrandDragon titanite shards can be bought from a blacksmith at undead parish for 800 souls each,chunks can be farmed at dark wraiths in new londo,and large titanite can be bought from crestfallen merchant in sen's fortress. You can find up to 5 or 6 dragon scales in ash lake. Not that difficult. And dragon weapons aren't that great because they can't scale. It's better to have some crazy super buffed weapon that suits your stats or play style.

I mean.. who the fuck does this about Item Discovery or ... turning into human.. what a bunch of dumb-asses. I had like 35 .. i had gotten then without cheating.. then guess what? @gMemo92 remember you need the gold serpent ring forgot it's name but increases drop rate rating by 200. add that to your default 100 and it's 300. that's gona be somewhat decent. now humanity should drop at somewhat a "decent" rate. youtube the route to take while farming the rats. you can use humanities as you obtain them to increase the drop rate even more. it's still gona be hard but better than nothing right? then use the glitch you shown in this vid for each humanity whenever needed.
If you have more than one of the item you want to duplicate, 1st drop all except one on the ground before you duplicate, then pick them up when you'r done.
In The Great Hollow there is a ring that make stamina recover alot faster. Your stamina wont go down while duplicating and you can keep going forever.

So, I have an interesting problem. This is pre-patch (I purposefully haven't gone online yet.) I am using the glitch, but it wears off after an indeterminate amount of time. Far more than the amount of souls used, but WAY less than infinite. Any guess as to why this is happening?
the only thing, is at least you have to make your way to the Stone Dragon before you can use this glitch. it can be kind of difficult to get there in the early game....its useful to get the 30 humanity for the shortcut after uve already beaten the game a couple times doing it the normal way, this makes the game a little less redundant.
just did ths my 47 hrs of legit getting to lvl 100 compared to my 2 hr guy lvl 146 wow hahahahahahah kills the fun so ima delete it, kinda made game pointless lol ubset the four kings fight that boss is a beast
Beat the game twice and then used this to quickly make a new character/build. A very similar exploit is in Demon's Souls and it was never patched. Didn't ruin anything for me....just saved some time is all. If there was a way to reset my stats I would have rather done that, but there isn't.

I suppose it's not bad when you play your first playthrough legit and then use this glitch in NG+ and so on. It has no impact on multiplayer really since you're paired with others around your level anyway. plus, you kind of have to be at a decent level to survive the route to actually GET to the dragon covenant and actually get the damn thing.
Not every PVP is leveled. in fact i'm not even sure any of it is.
I've had my Forrest Hunter experience completely ruined because the battles aren't scaled.
I had my ass kicked by over-leveled players.
I was really expecting to have fun in the Forrest Hunter covenant, but all i found was grief, and because i can't kill any of those high leveled players, i can't advance in the covenant.
It feels more like crowd control than actual PVP as it is.
U cannot be supremely powerful in this game.....Try saying that wen ur at NG+++++...My friend went to lvl 500 and he asked me to lvl up to help him out at tomb of giants, why would he need help wen he's 500, right guys? (NO)
The point is unless u plan NOT start any NG+'s...This game WILL NOT be easy if u use this glitch...I'm sure From Software has made this crushingly hard for the highest lvl possible
@AndyRosDee lol...There's nothing wrong with starting a NG++++++ ...and it doesn't mean over-consumption either....(I've beaten Demon's souls many times more than that....because i loved PvE that much....plus i wanted to find weaps and stuff i missed the last playthroughs)....So I'll be guessing i'll do the SAME THING (but longer) with this
@zaraguth Well... in NG+ the game gets 40% harder, and any NG+s afterwards will only increase by 8% from then on. (I got those %'s from the official guide) At higher levels the game only becomes more manageable and not as easy as say playing an Elder Scrolls game with the difficulty bar all the way to the left...or a Fable game. There's a noticeable difference in how hard enemies hit in NG+s, so it won't matter how high your stats are, if you still play the game incompetently, you're gonna die.
Im gonna do this not cuz i find the game hard. Its just that the soul farming takes alotta time. I just need to tweak my stats up a little. Just need to catch up on my games like Batman: Arkham City, BF3, MW3, and so on. Thanks for hookin it up man.
id be a liar if i said i didnt exploit. but instead of glitching i ran from the undead merchant (after buying 99 throwing knives and 99 firebombs) then ran to framp and fed them to him for 100 each. spent 5450 souls and got back 19800.
the ds guide says he pays me what i paid but for some reason he only offers 100 for everything except weapons (50 souls) and arrows (5 souls).
By the way I only had 4 bosses left after the Anor Londo bosses, so pretty much was right at the end before I glitched. There were some bad programming in the game other than the unlimited souls.... Tho I say it's more like exploiting the game than cheating personally... Using the programming as an advantage.. that's exactly what it is, and in the boss fights and stuff you use the levels as your advantages so nothing to different by exploiting a bug... Some cases you have to do it in DS.
. I was level 85 and got it to 300 soul level by this glitch. But enemies got that tough too.. they hit much harder now. only advantage is that you can buy armour, shards and humanities. even if you max out to soul level.. enemies will be that much tougher...so this cheat doesn't effect your game that much.

I remember back on the ps2 and one days where I would play the game legit then use cheats to mess around. Just like GTA where cheats and glitches make the game have abit more life to it.

Hey, they give you like 5 or 6 slots for characters. May as well have a uber one just to see what its like. Can always delete it after if the guilt keeps you up at night lol.

ok i tried this, and its not as awesome as you may think.. tried the bleeding cure items and all it did was use the 7 i had, didn't duplicate them.. i used 2 souls of a brave warrior and went to 200k, once I let go of square the souls i used were gone, so its a souls glitch not really a duplicating trick.
I never understood why anyone would want to use a glitch like this in a single player game. In a competitive multiplayer setting I can kinda understand (even though it's still incredibly lame), but for a game like this, what the hell is the point? You buy the game to beat it, on it's terms. What are you accomplishing by using this?
@TheEpicMask No, I don't condone cheating in multiplayer AT ALL. It's just that, at least I can understand why someone might do it. Ethically, cheating on multiplayer is much worse than single player.

Don't have it yet, but it's also the sword Queelag uses against you during her fight.
Use her soul to ascend a +10 curved sword.
It does fire damage and is upgraded with demon titanite. I believe...
Hell, it could be twinkling titanite, but I seriously doubt it.

U cannot be supremely powerful in this game.....Try saying that wen ur at NG+++++...My friend went to lvl 500 and he asked me to lvl up to help him out at tomb of giants, why would he need help wen he's 500, right guys? (NO)
The point is unless u plan NOT start any NG+'s...This game WILL NOT be easy if u use this glitch...I'm sure From Software has made this crushingly hard for the highest lvl possible

@AndyRosDee lol...There's nothing wrong with starting a NG++++++ ...and it doesn't mean over-consumption either....(I've beaten Demon's souls many times more than that....because i loved PvE that much....plus i wanted to find weaps and stuff i missed the last playthroughs)....So I'll be guessing i'll do the SAME THING (but longer) with this

@zaraguth Well... in NG+ the game gets 40% harder, and any NG+s afterwards will only increase by 8% from then on. (I got those %'s from the official guide) At higher levels the game only becomes more manageable and not as easy as say playing an Elder Scrolls game with the difficulty bar all the way to the left...or a Fable game. There's a noticeable difference in how hard enemies hit in NG+s, so it won't matter how high your stats are, if you still play the game incompetently, you're gonna die.

id be a liar if i said i didnt exploit. but instead of glitching i ran from the undead merchant (after buying 99 throwing knives and 99 firebombs) then ran to framp and fed them to him for 100 each. spent 5450 souls and got back 19800.
the ds guide says he pays me what i paid but for some reason he only offers 100 for everything except weapons (50 souls) and arrows (5 souls).

By the way I only had 4 bosses left after the Anor Londo bosses, so pretty much was right at the end before I glitched. There were some bad programming in the game other than the unlimited souls.... Tho I say it's more like exploiting the game than cheating personally... Using the programming as an advantage.. that's exactly what it is, and in the boss fights and stuff you use the levels as your advantages so nothing to different by exploiting a bug... Some cases you have to do it in DS.

. I was level 85 and got it to 300 soul level by this glitch. But enemies got that tough too.. they hit much harder now. only advantage is that you can buy armour, shards and humanities. even if you max out to soul level.. enemies will be that much tougher...so this cheat doesn't effect your game that much.

@ResidentDevils Got a point :P But then again glitches and cheats, for me, tend to extend the longevity of the game.
I remember back on the ps2 and one days where I would play the game legit then use cheats to mess around. Just like GTA where cheats and glitches make the game have abit more life to it.

I finished my first playthrough and ended up soul level 85 for NG. I found out about this glitch a few days ago so i made a new toon and... mwahaha. Hey, they give you like 5 or 6 slots for characters. May as well have a uber one just to see what its like. Can always delete it after if the guilt keeps you up at night lol.

ok i tried this, and its not as awesome as you may think.. tried the bleeding cure items and all it did was use the 7 i had, didn't duplicate them.. i used 2 souls of a brave warrior and went to 200k, once I let go of square the souls i used were gone, so its a souls glitch not really a duplicating trick.

I never understood why anyone would want to use a glitch like this in a single player game. In a competitive multiplayer setting I can kinda understand (even though it's still incredibly lame), but for a game like this, what the hell is the point? You buy the game to beat it, on it's terms. What are you accomplishing by using this?

@TheEpicMask No, I don't condone cheating in multiplayer AT ALL. It's just that, at least I can understand why someone might do it. Ethically, cheating on multiplayer is much worse than single player.
I'm just saying, I don't see why in the hell anyone would want to do this. It basically defeats the whole purpose of buying the game
