  • SCREW YOU, VIACOM!!! I knew from the start that that darned "V" was telling a prophecy of your schemes. I hear you wanting to take down the Internet and trying to turn us into slaves. That V of Doom is the equivalent to the swastika. Don't let Viacom take you hostage. They are a bunch of greedy slugs that want to own everything. The entertainment industry, the world, your VOICE. Like if you protest the PIPA/SOPA.

  • At 1:11, you can see this V of Doom variant: a light green background and a forest green V zooming in at you.

  • where is deleted

    not there

    fag

  • plus i feel like when that V comes towards me...it looks like is gonna come and collaspe on me

  • @iCharmCity410 i felt the same way too when I was a kid.

  • fuck viacom

  • vacom at 1:00 mat at :29-37

  • 0:19... Scary stuff...

  • The Viacom "V of Doom" is kind creepy for some bizarre reason.

  • This reminds me of when I was a kid. I was always so sad when my favorite tv shows ended that I sat and watched every last bit of the credits, including the production logos. Some of my favorite cartoons ended with that big blue V coming at me.

  • @lisvender And the five-note synthesizer music.

  • :26 was the best

  • why come?

  • 1:21 is the best one in my "humble" opinion, both in terms of sound and appearance..

  • Viacock XDDD

  • This is so interesting!

  • When you actually think of how far-reaching Viacom has actually become...THAT's what's scary.

  • What moron would leave a comment for Viacom intros?

  • @spunkets

    You. XD

  • @GSNSmashFan3

    What other moron?

  • These guys are CREATIVE.

  • V of Steel and Wigga-Wigga make me so happy!

  • the last one is so creepy 0_0

  • VIACUM CAN SUCK IT!

  • I like the climbing five-note theme.

  • Im so scared of these O_o

  • When I hear the Wigga-Wigga Viacom, I used to think it was Bill Cosby saying that for a reason.

  • Your audio on these is great and some of the faster V from Hell's I haven't seen in ages.

  • that v will fuck u up!!!!

  • I DON'T Think These Are Scary.I Was Born In 2000,So I Must Be Missing Something.

P.S. I Once Had A Bad Dream About The P.B.S. Logo!

  • I always thought that giant V was going to break through the T.V. when I was a kid. lol

  • 2.18 it shows it true colour BY SAYING THE WORD ITS SUPOSE TO BE " Viacom *cough* Suck *cough*

  • 1:11 Its ok kids, I will not get you :)

  • 1:55 I think that was off of Super Mario Bros Super Show (SMBSS)

  • more like the Warner Bros logo on Looney Tunes lol

  • @LemmingsMaster Kinda yeah P

    my bad lol

  • @LemmingsMaster What i mean was that i saw that on some episodes of SMBSS on TV :P

  • Always thought those old ones were trippy as a kid lol.

  • 40 years[1971-2011];effective Thursday June 4th,1971 when Viacom was first named CBS Films Inc. A wholly owned network program syndication arm of CBS-TV;until the FCC barred all television networks from owning program syndication companies two years later in 1973[before that law and its rules were repealed].

  • yeah just wondering how did this slip through the cracks? Viacom is pulling everything related to them..or is just the ones posted that puts them in a bad light?

  • each of these logos shares the exact amount of sheer EVIL!!!

  • I think i am gonna have night mare of all of these V of Dooms !!

  • 0:19 I didn't know the V of Doom was nice :D

  • 1:11 I'm gonna get you, oh, I'd better stop!

  • Oh... Kay... Um, founded in 1492 by, uh... Demons, the viacom is a crack law enforcement agency designed to... Uh, I dunno, fight... Good cartoons?

  • Was Viacom a TV production company or syndication distributor? It's still around isn't it?

  • Check out 0:14 of the youtube video named:

RARE Hawaii Five-O Syndication Sales Reel

Really cool V I'd never seen before

  • I made something very simitar to your video, JohnnyL80. Viacom 1971-2004.

  • Scary I'm going to have nightmares

  • Aha! The flutey Viacom tune that I used to see interchangably!

  • The logos between 1:54 - 2:14 appeared at the end of the early episodes of Roseanne I remember, and the logos between 2:23 - 2:35 appeared at the end of the later episodes of Roseanne.

  • Viacom is not scared!!!

  • Suck my ass Viacom!!

  • -_- Its not even that scary

  • I like the pinball ones (0:00 - 0:19) the most. I think they're colorful and cute. But if I was a child growing up in the 70s to see it evolve to the V of Doom, I'd probably be very disappointed. It's like, with the V of Doom, "what were they thinking when they made this logo?! Did they try to be modern and cool with a zooming V?! They tried too hard that its also scary!"

  • @MrViacom lol i was half asleep :P

  • The Videotaped 'Vs of Doom' are interesting for some reason.

  • @MrViacom What do you mean "(c) 1971, 2010"? The Viacom of 1971 was ended in 2005. The current Viacom(the orange lettered logo) is a spin off of the original. That's who people should be mad at about the copyrights. Not the 1971-2005 Viacom.

  • @MrViacom

    viacon auctually 1958.

  • Viacom logos- Epic.

Viacom as a whole- Epic fail at life. >_>

  • I think we need an update, for the Orange V Of Doom, Golden V of Doom, Special Delivery Viacom, and etc.

  • All are creepy, except for the last 2.

  • @MaxRebo120 you're a baby -_- none of them is creepy to me.V of doom kinda. But the first one is not even remotely scary.

  • @MaxRebo120 Are you a baby? orsomething? Pinball, Wigga Wigga, and V of DOom network aren't scary!

  • I mean really,what were they thinking?

  • Moar like viacum!

  • Best one is at 2:50

  • Fuck Viacum

  • The evil empire

  • I think another update is due.

  • dear m.r owner of viacom

    FUCK YOU!

  • I like the sixteenth logo (at 1:22) the most.

  • Viacom always had the most creepy music until recently :O

  • Fuck Viacom BOOO.

  • I have a question for you: why DID you post this for? Immunity from viacom? peh.

  • dude,do you seriously want your channel removed? viacom can remove the video AND the channel. the worst part is,they could esaly sew you.

  • FUCK VIACOM

  • I have never been more scared of viacom in my life after watching this disturbing video.

  • Boo! viacom stinks!

  • viacom suck

  • it's not viacom it's viacum.

  • For me, the V of Doom wasn't too scary.............what was scary for me was the deep-voiced "VIACOM" announcer that was used in later years!

  • I mentioned once before that the one at 2:18 for example reminded me of a man's necktie and coat as far back as when I was 5 years old. Both had the same colors of a man's coat and necktie... Well now I can explain why the logo reminds me of a man's neck tie. The shape of the logo really does resemble at least part of a man's tie after all. The shape of the logo matches that of the appearance of the top part of a man's tie. It's shaped like a V but the bottom is flat, but still narrower.

  • The first V of DOOM Viacom logo still had the original music too it at 20 seconds.

  • viagracom

  • 1:02 AND 1:38 SOUND LIKE THEY HAVE SAME THE SAME FUCKING MUSIC!!!!

    i need a vacation -_-

  • i know! Lol

  • Comment removed

  • @bees32189 So does 1:12 and 1:31.

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like the one at 2:18 and 2:24 because the announcer says the word "Viacom"

  • the only v of doom that ain't so scary is 1:22

  • Nah... 0:19 isn't so bad either since it uses the pinball sound effects. The V of doom never scared me as a kid, but I can definitely see how people would get scared by it.

  • 0:55 sounded funny and so did 1:12 lol

  • ahh fuck viacom

  • i almost forgot to mention 0:37 is pretty loud too

  • 0:26 to 1:47 are v of dooms!

  • the 2 v of dooms that i find mostly scarey than the others are 1:11 and 1:32 because at 1:11 that kinda surprises me and at 1:32 viacom made that logo the loudest (but not loud enough to hurt your ears though) thanks for see this comment

  • I saw the Viacom Logos at 2:05 & 2:24 from the end of The Gambler on Encore Westerns.

  • 2:18 has to be best music for the logo.

  • 0:00 to 0:19 font used was peignot

  • Viacom vs Capcom? A suitable title, but c'mon!!!

  • I want to see Megaman blow up the V of Doom now :D

  • Nah... V of Doom vs. Gouki would be more entertaining. If that damned V were to survive the Shun Goku Satsu, then we know we were scared for good reason.

  • does anyone know anything where i can download all these so called viacom logo's?

  • I used to see the logo seen from 2:17-2:41 when I used to visit my grandfather. Too bad he's dead as Micheal Jackson now.

  • I used to see the "pinball" versions right after Gomer Pyle USMC

  • My favorite one is 2:18...it is peaceful and the least scary.

  • i remembered this one type of viacom logo that was looked like it was painted out, this was one a very old curious george tape, it also had frog and toad stop animation, and morris the moose... i dont know why i still remember the tape, i used to watch it all the itme when i was younger...

  • some nightmare, some V of Doom. I gotta travel through time.

  • I like that first logo.

  • The first logo you see here. I used to see that after I think every ep of the Andy Griffith Show. By the way, that show is talked about in great new bio (All About Jeffrey Hunter) at amazon!

  • 1:23 is probably the highest quality v of doom

  • 2:05 is the only one I remember of this design. Although it ended sooner than 1:55 did, it was long enough and it showed often enough that I remembered the color design, the graphics, the sound and the shining. It all reminded me of a woman up close waving her long hair starting from our right and waving left and stopping once facing us with her eyes never wide open and of course smiling with lipstick, wearing perfume... Also with her head tilted 20 degrees towards our right and zero at the end.

  • i justed pissed myself i really did wow

  • i like the one that plays music and the guys says viacom

  • Im, glad I wont see the V of doom anymore!

  • im suprised this hasn't been removed due to "copyright"

  • @TheKillerShiny You see, the point is to remove every video that does not advertise themselves. They know that people will watch this video and want to watch one of their movies (I don't know who will now).

  • @TheKillerShiny yea really lol

  • @TheKillerShiny The original Viacom is dead, so there is no copyright issue.

  • Which one is creepy? Pinball V Of Doom, Filmed V Of Doom or Videdtaped V Of Doom?

  • The last two are okay.

  • 0:56 is just creeepy

  • I am sorry for my reactions, I was fustrated and I let show. I had a rough day

  • The one at 0:44 is what I call "silent but deadly".

  • There was a time where viacom used to be so good now it sucks like no fair life today! :-(

  • VIACOCK

  • The one at 2:26 sounds like someone burping viacom lol

  • What Does This Mean It Makes No Sense. If Does Someone Please Tell If It Does.

  • Of the first one of 0:00 to 0:19 are of at the end of the 50 and the 60, of 0.19 to 1:55 they are of the 60, 70 and 80, of 1:55 to 2:18 they are of the 80 and 90, of 2:18 to 2:42 they are of in the middle of the 90 of 2:42 to 2:48 are of the 21st century and the current logo is of 2007 in forward.

  • The music sounds different on the wigga logo on 2:18...... I like the other music more better than the flute one..... :)

  • 0:55 and 1:24 are the ones I remember most vividly as a kid. I don't think this one ever scared me, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who was scared by logos.

  • The V of doom scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.

  • i believe from the mary tyler moore show

  • Over the last few days I'm noticing that a lot of logo videos are either missing or "not available". WTF is going on? Logos are one of the few things that are still available to watch on YT now while waiting for them to expand their TV show library.

  • the viacom logo at 2:21 is the logo from the Cosby Show

  • Yes it is. I always saw it and wish it was back on tv

  • 2:36 sounds so threating.

    I always hated it.

  • 0:00-0:19 VIACOM Pinball

    0:19-1:45 VIACOM V Of Doom

    1:45-1:54 the rare VIACOM Logos

    1:54-2:17 VIACOM V Of Steel

    2:17-2:43 VIACOM Wigga-Wigga

    2:43-2:48 new VIACOM logo

  • YEAH @ 2.24. my youth! cant remember what movie it was in front of or anything, just remember it

  • Boy, some of them went fast!

  • Who thought of 0:19 - 1:52 anyway?

  • NOONE LIKES VIACOM FUCK YOU VIACOM

  • I'm always curious how they made the V of Doom behind the scenes. They used Linotype for the letters and did Scanimate animation for the video version. Also, I'm curious who played the synthesizer! What were the crew thinking when they composed this logo?

  • Bob Prince ought to sue whoever jacked three of the notes of his Universal TV theme w/o prior permission.

  • I think the logos were an afterthought in those days and the studios put their crazy art department in charge.

Artists were known for doing the most drugs back in that era. :)

  • haha yea to have letters with pinball music yea I think they were on some shit haha

  • Yeah, really. Whoever invented this Viacom shit must've been on dope or something.

  • I'm glad that I'm not the only one that's scared of viacom. The v of doom used to scare the shit out of me as a child and it still does.

  • I agree. You've got this giant V coming straight at you along with the suspenseful music. It's like a sign that something incredibly scary is about to happen. Yikes!

  • I feel the same way you do, exactly! When I was a kid (well let's face it, even now as an adult), not only does that logo scare me, but that music as well (mostly the music). If they probably had kept the logo and used that pinball music instead like they did the first time around, that probably would've been okay. By the way, 1:55 - 2:18 is my favorite Viacom logo. I don't think I need to tell you which one is my least favorite.

  • Some of them make me tingle a little, but none outright scare me anymore due to overexposure by fans online. If anything, if you hear a logo enough in one day, it becomes an earworm. I get the music from the CBS Studios logo and the Screen Gems S in my head a lot because of what plays on WGN and in syndication during the daytime hours.

  • Same with the Wigga-Wigga that scared me as a child then as a teen.

  • fuck you viacom

  • This is nutty! LMAO! XD

  • I LOVE ROMANIAN CHICKS DAMMIT!!!

  • well i like the backwards v of doom! the music is somethihg else

  • viacom also took away nick gas. (worst mistake ever)
