Then in the end you find out he betrayed you etc etc. and you go to the king of stormwind to join the alliance. From then on the lich king is your enemy.
Can't wait until my DK. Don't look forward to making money to get rid of that hidious skirt though. Going to have to find me a good goldfarming area beforehand.
It took me a long time to get lvl 70 too (my highest char was 38 for a long time). I became 70 just a week or two before the release of WOTLK and at this moment I am only lvl 71 so...
In the end when you go to outland it's so much more fun than Desolace etc (I hate Desolace)

Well what I am going to say now is a big spoiler so if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't read it :P
You start of as scourge, you do quests in name of the scourge, killing humans 'n all. You take over a little of the area bit by bit while doing quests...
In the end there's a big quest where you become an elite, and have to fight in a war. You lose the war and your commander finds out Arthas (the lich king) betrayed him, and then you see the light. You become good... From now on you are one of the "knights of ebon hold". You have to go to stormwind (or orgrimmar if you are horde) to prove your will to be an ally (or horde). and people will throw tomatoes etc at you :P

im really happy now i got my 38 all the way to 59 and it was a rogue (badass in PvP) But i honestly love my DK more lol

a battle worn sword can not be used, though if the game says it's missing you'll need to get an ingame ticket I think :)
