  • very nice

  • and for everyone else absolute zero is the theoretical limit at which all particle motion stops, and to cool a substance you simply decrease particle excitement and motion, at or past absolute zero that is obviously impossible, how do you take energy from a particle with zero energy, how do you slow down a parked car?

  • I believe that its currently impossible to go past absolute zero with the technology that we have (such as sending a human to mars), and also scientists may not want to do further research since they use absolute zero as a control in some experiments you know?

  • @RSxAlexX absolute zero is and always will be impossible to surpass with any amount of technology, because absolute zero means "not moving at all". you can't move less than not moving at all.

in fact, due to the uncertainty principle, it's impossible for anything to be at absolute zero.

  • @RSxAlexX It's impossible to achieve absolute zero, as that would defy quantum physics.

We have however gotten to about a billionth of a fraction close to it.

  • It is not impossible to reach absolute zero. It is just not possible by human hand. Just like humans trying to reach the speed of light. It's impossible to humans. But it is there, and it exists, and it is reachable.

  • @MrHeartlessKidd wrong, it really is impossible mathematically to reach those things, the speed of light is unreachable because as an object aproaches the speed of light it gains mass at an accelerating rate. infact there is a point where all the force you add to make it go faster makes it heavier, and you would actually need infinite force for any object with mass to reach that speed.

  • @MrHeartlessKidd absolute zero is impossible as well, you simply can't stop all particle motion, as if you actually try to measure to make sure the atoms have no motion you would be unable to due to the uncertainty principle. even just looking at a substance with no particle motion should change its state making it above absolute zero.

  • @MrHeartlessKidd No he's not.

  • ask this question... can u achieve negative pressure and pass absolute zero? once u say no... ask this one... what if we can come up with another scale, another way to view motion in atoms to actually see that this theory that cant be reached is actually whats holding us back because were so comfortable with what we know that we just settle on someone saying "oh nope its not possible"... ya just like flying isnt possible right hmmm lookie there

  • ask this question... can u achieve negative pressure and pass absolute zero?

  • It is Impossible for any(thing) to reach below Absolute zero? IS this based on what we have yet to find or is this already proven by science.

  • the FUNNIEST and yet the BEST explanation for absolute zero!!!

  • @anurag16121994 haha thanks buddy ^_^ i appreciate that!

  • so whats -300 degrees Celsius?

  • @CR055H41RZ 0.o the world may never know...

  • Absolute Zero is - 273.16 c

  • wow your suck a nerd :P lol jk

  • dis 4 science???

  • @superbeast622 yep, i got absolute zero as my physics subject.

  • @RSxAlexX That's funny, I got an absolute zero on my physics paper.

  • @RSxAlexX did you get absolute zero on your grade?

  • @houseisonme nope! thank god for easy 7th grade teachers!
