yes dear friend, villa urquiza is a different style in tango, too todaro and naveira are strong tango styles. I like the Naveira style, because there is a lot of improvisation.
Hola coincido con tu opinion, este bailarin es bueno en algunas cosas, pero esto no tiene nada que ver con el compas ni tiempo del tango ... algunos bailarines parecen mas a malabaristas de circo que bailarines de tango. saludos. Marcelo
I am learning the Villa Urquiza style and am studying with someone who was taught by Jorge Dispari and Maria del Carmen Romeo, among others. I like tango that is elegant, with long lines and exact footwork. I will look for the people you named and watch them.
On another note, I saw some black kids on Time Square did a better spin move than this. Have some respect for the dance, please people. Or call it American Swango or something like that.
I agree. To each his own, but I prefer a more elegant AT. Where is the deep emotion, the connection? 'American Swango' is a good term to describe this.
God bless you Homer, keep doing what you do! Haters gonna hate, but no one owns Tango.

who cares what YOU define as tango? Tango is what the dancer perceives as such. And milonguero sucks anyway.
I like it. The figure feels just great to a girl.
And well, naturally, when he does it as a demo, there's no walking to the beat (missing such - as there's no music played).

I can pick out parts of your comment, but not all. Would love to understand your feedback. Any chance of anyone translating here?

sorry, but is it Argentine tango or circus move? There are reason his vids got less than three stars rating on Youtube. I guess this explains why.
