Well, in the Manga of Majora's Mask (which I consider partially canon), the Majora's Mask was created from the hide of a man-eating monster that lived in a "timeless" place by a warrior resembling the Fierce Deity, but I think that Majora's Mask is connected with the Twili in some way just as the Fused Shadows are as well
i like this theory. makes alot of scence from both sides. they make it rather obvious that the 2, fuesed shadow & majoras mask, are related in some way. i choose to beleive they were created by the twili & sealed away because of the power & misuse of it. & i also beleive there is someone in hyrule, possibly a twili, that gets there hands on majoras mask & brings it to hyrule & trades it off to someone, quite possibly the happy mask salesman.

I say that the fused shadows where the more modern way of showing the mask i mean if you look closely (Which i did) the right eye of the Fused Shadow, looks like Majora's Mask. but thats just me lol
@megemannt125 that would protect the new land where they could not interfere with mortal affairs. These two god-like entities were fashioned with the use of the Four Giants' strongest magic,
"Long ago, the land of Termina was first created. The wise and benevolent creators who would one day be known as the Four Giants immediately took it upon themselves to create two entitys
@ChileGira64 The manga is her ideas based off of the games and isn't endorsed by Nintendo. In the actual games the mask is made by an dark tribe long ago. Thus the man in the manga didn't carve Majora's Mask out of the armor of a beastly Majora. I actually read the book this morning so this was very easy to remember. But so all in all, no he mask isn't actually the fearsome man-eating desert beast Majora's armor carved by a traveler then thrown down
My theory is that majora = happy mask salesman and this is why, as you see the little kid with majoras mask on in the moon is a young HMS , HMS lived with a tribe who wore masks, all the other masks represented something but not major as mask so young HMS was so angry and sad his emotions came into the mask and it became a demon And he was searching all those years for it from hyrule to termia but when he found it skull kid killed him and took it and HMS became a spriti who needed he mask to c
have you noticed that there is a wall in the big feild of twilight that looks like half of the mask? and that in ocarina of time there is a face painted in the room of the cheif of those rock people " sorry haven't played in a long time so i forgot some of the termiology) that face kinda looks like majoras also. and i kinda think the wise stones with an eye also have a connection. i also have the theory that if its the same artist then he probably consist with his style.
I have a theory not a good one but in skyward sword when demis is sealed?Well he might have ben sealed in what could have became the twili realm also demise has that weird magic hair just like midna does excwpt she can use her hair see anything similar like MIDNAS ACESTOR WAS A BAD ASS BOSS?
Actually, majoras mask was made from an ancient monster's armor, believed to have the ability to grant wishes. Many tried to steal the beast's armor, but failed. A warrior was sent to kill the beast. But he knew that the beast was alone. Trapped between unmoving time. The warrior made time flow for the beast by playing a drum for three days and three nights. The beast then died from old age. His armor remained. The warrior created a mask out of the beast's armor, sealing it's power inside....
What if the Interlopers were somehow the Sheikah? Think about it, they DO excell in magic and fighting. Also, in multiple parts of the Twilight Realm, you can find some Sheikah symbols(Eye with tear). The symbol that catches my attention the most is the one behind Zant's thrown...
@megamannt15 Actually the mask was created by a hero who killed a demon with wish-granting armor (why the mask grants wishes). The armor was filled with the greed of the people the demonic armor-wearing beast had eaten.
ooor... Nintendo ran out of ideas and tried to mix up majora's mask and ocarina of time a bit because it was two hits.
Ocarina of time's temples+Majora's mask part of the story+Another part of story they create to make it more realistic and different so people don't notice = Paper in their pocket :)
i thought the majoras mask was sealed in the hell or twinmolds lair in stone tower temple. remember when they flipped it upside down(stone tower) instead leading to heaven it led to hell.
@talesfangirl What a stupid question think things through before you reply with stupidity. Do you see a picture of Midna and Majora's mask next to each other in comparison? Did he at all mention the fact that their eyes are similar? No. Not everyone noticed this similarity therefor YES there is a point in me saying it. Sit down.
since you had to collect peices of the fuse shadow it could make sense to say it was majoras mask but broken since termina was a pretty much parralel place to hyrule one could say if that mask broke its counter part could have been broken and once majoras mask was found as was its opposite the fuse shadow. It would make sense since ganon is in the twilight realm throughout majoras mask and thus would make sense that while link was their ganon found the other mask.
Let's Hypothetically reverse what you're saying, let's say that young link went through the experience of Majora's Mask, and then grew older from young link to the adult link we know today as in Twilight Princess, that would make more sense to me since he was sent back in time from Zelda in Ocarina of Time. I do have other theories and with more details but Youtube will only allow me so many words in my comment/
@ShiroHichigo i think it goes like this: After sometime after Majoras Mask, Link is killed and turned into a Stalfos, who is later called The Hero of Shade, and as we all know he is Twilight Princess Link's mentor, but may be also be his father because TP Link was a rancher and he rode Epona so he could have had a child with Malon who lived at Lon Lon Ranch..
Perhaps they are the same thing..... only majora's mask was created in the normal realm.... and the fused shadows are the remains of majora's mask after it was destroyed.... possibly rebuilt in the design of the twilight realm..... maybe...
You put a lot of excellent points on this, but I could also note that the happy mask salesman is (if i'm not mistaken), from hyrule. This could possibly mean that majora's mask was, as well.
yes i have played wind waker and ocarina of time :) i have also played twilight princess :) i just bought majoras mask last week. i have noticed that they seem to connect in weird ways like in majoras mask when you start the anju and kafie side quest.... the goron that checks in after you take is room is named after you.... just like the little goron from ocarina of time.... what are your thoughts on this?
So basically, the Gerudo race created the "Dark Power", and was therefore banished to the twilight realm. Hence why in Twilight Princess, the mirror that acted as a portal to the realm was situated in the Gerudo desert, why the desert has since been lifted above hyrule and is no longer reachable without some kind of magic or gimmicks, and also why the gerudo people seemingly stopped existing after OoT. If the desert people also created Majora's Mask, that would explain why he
@Demigod214 i think the dark power that they tried to create was to resurrect ganondorf after his execution (child timeline) due to he was the prince of the thieves and the gerudos wanted revenge since they thought their leader died for no reason since link told the royal family his evil ways but the gerudos never heard about link's story
In TP, they stated that the twilight realm was created to seal away a bloodline that created a dark power. Also, in TP, we see that Ganondorf was being sealed away in the Twilight realm for using this dark power. Since this power was from a single bloodline, we just follow where Ganondorf came from. He's a Gerudo. Only one male is born in the gerudo race every hundred years, so we can assume that they all fall under a single bloodline.
I know exactly wat happens. Long before even skyward sword (supposedly first in storyline) a traveler was going to destroy the cause of no time in the world. The beast Thought he was an assasin. the travler plays a song for 3 days while the beast dances. the beast falls. the traveler then kills the beast and carves the mask hoping its powers shall never be used again.
10. Hyrule is an amorphous dimension with the ability to change enitrely over the course of any game (JKJK)
(The REAL) 10. The three major goddesses are actually NOT all powerful and NOT the creators of the world, they are just figure heads for the true goddess, "Hylia", and mean absolutely nothing, and the Tri-Force is actually one big triangle, Ganon just broke it like a dumbass, and the "Three Atrributes" that they are affiliated with are purely for symbolism, nothing else.
7.Link's Awakening was entirely canon (that doesn't actually matter, since it was a dream...i think)
8.Ganon gets Reused to many times and should just die (actually my personal opinion, but seeing the same damn pig over and over is anoying and uncreative in my opinion)
9. Zant is unimportant to the major story and probably won't be seen outside of TP (sux, he had great potential, but was kinda spoiled being over shadowed by Ganon (like most villains))
@Cherryblossoms13100 You're all jumbled up. Wind Waker is the result of Link leaving the adult timeline at the end of Ocarina of Time. Also Link doesn't die in Majora's Mask. You should read the Hyrule Historia.
@megamannt125 The Hyrule Historia is based on games that were created. If that book really made sense there was information in it about a future game, believe me Nintendo will make 15 more games and it will have nothing to do with the Hyrule Hisotria you've read. Besides that is confirmed that Majora is actually a dragon and the mask was made from it's armor.
@ShibbyDaisy The book was edited by Miyamoto and Aonuma. Everything in the Historia is 100% canon in every sense of the word. Of course they didn't have information about future games, they haven't been made yet. This is how Nintendo works, they make a game, and then place it on the timeline. They don't plan out every game they're going to make in the future and where they go, that would be ridiculous. And no, that isn't confirmed, the manga isn't canon.
@megamannt125 Just what you said, they make a game and then put it on the timeline, not the other way around. So there's actually no connection between the games. PS: Look for 'Link to the future' let's say the part I'm talking about is at 2:47 and well, that's why it doesn't make sense to me -.- they could've said theres no real timeline and actually made the book for nothing
@ShibbyDaisy Your logic doesn't make any sense. They released an official book with games in a certain order. That's a timeline and it's just the way it is. I don't really understand what you're trying to say to be honest.
@ShibbyDaisy No, it isn't. It's the official timeline of the developers themselves. Denying it is on the same levels as fanfiction and is just plain foolishness. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that the book is "bull". You may not like the timeline but it's fact, and you might as well deal with it.
@megamannt125 I think, stating think, that they've been sucking it out of their thumbs just trying to make sense, but the book doesn't make sense in any way. I think they created the book just for extra cash. How could Wind Waker be the result of link dying? It's his bloodline and as far as I know link didn't hump anyone. According to the book OOT link was never the hero of time since he traveled back and nothing happend and Miyamoto didn´t create the last 8 stories himself so...
@ShibbyDaisy I think you just have a poor misunderstanding on non-linear time travel. Wind Waker is the result of Link leaving the adult timeline. At the end of Ocarina of Time, Link is sent back to relive his childhood and changes the past thus leading into Twilight Princess where Ganondorf was to be executed, however the timeline in which he sealed Ganondorf away at the end of OOT didn't cease to exist, it went on into Wind Waker.
@megamannt125 Yeah so basically that 2nd timeline never was there, because it must be this OR that. You only live in 1 timeline, so why would they make games on different timelines?
@ShibbyDaisy Again, you're thinking of time too linear. The second timeline didn't cease to exist. There is no scientific proof that time is linear or non-linear, so you can't even use time as a way to denounce the timeline. It's also a fictional universe and the developers can do whatever they want.
@Cherryblossoms13100 Look at the intro of Skyward´s story at the demons. Next to Ghirahim is Zant I believe, the white face spills it. Ganon died several times but gets resurrected, it makes no sense. How could Wind Waker link be a bloodline of Majora´s mask dead link if link never humped anyone? Minish cap link Hero of Time? HOW? OOT Link actually never had the title of Hero of Time because when you go back in time nothing happend... you tell me.
@ShibbyDaisy Wind Waker Link is unrelated to OOT Link. The King of Red Lions says this. Twilight Princess Link is the bloodline of OOT Link (who didn't die in Majora's Mask, I have no idea where you got that from)
@megamannt125 But according to the legend of the Wind Waker, the hero was gone when Ganondorf returned from it's seal which made the goddess barry the land under water. First, ganondorf wasn't sealed in Twilight second, that link never left it's land causing to split the triforce in pieces. And then again, are there no Kokiri in Twilight and the Deku Tree says Kokiri became Koroks.
@ShibbyDaisy The hero of time was gone, He left that timeline at the end of Ocarina of time. This is what I was trying to explain to you. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker take place on two completely different temporal planes of existence where the events in Ocarina of Time took two different paths.
@ShibbyDaisy I know it's just that they tried to create a storyboard but I think they failed making one causing it's timeline to split because this or that could happen.
@ShibbyDaisy The timeline split has existed since Wind Waker was very first introduced and the fans knew this. The only problem with the complete timeline is it suggests a third timeline leading into Link to the Past, which is a hypothetical "what if" scenario in which Link died fighting Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time, but even then it's still canon. My point is that it doesn't have to make sense, it's still canon and might as well be accepted.
@megamannt125 And my point is that I don't think the story is relevant for Nintendo in any way and they just create random games trying to make sense. But like you said, it doesn't make sense. So it was actually irrellevant for nintendo to make such a stupid book.
@ShibbyDaisy 1. They specifically said that Link in WW is not related in anyway to any previous links AT ALL. he obtained an entirely new title, "Hero of the Wind".
2.Zant probably made a cameo apearance because they thought that are lokked to empty, he is never even thought of outside of TP and is un important after he is killed.
3.There is also a high probability that it was just a whight dude, and not Zant at all, since the "Youngest" Zelda period is TP, where Zant rises to power
@Cherryblossoms13100 LOL? Did you even play the wind waker? Howmany connections are there? Kokiri's turned into Koroks, the deku three is there, lord jabu is there, the sages are framed in the room of the master sword so is final form of Ganon of OOT, the shield is passed down by its generation, link is the bloodline of the hero of time, and you're saying Miyamoto claims now it has NOTHING to do with OOT? Dude thefk? And when Link left the land he was only 11 years old so no, he couldn't.
@ShibbyDaisy Also, as a reply to "if link never humped anyone" ... here a possibility of "Who" he COULD'VE...y'know (Its rated E anyway) in a list of least most likely.
5.Saria (least probable, since she is still technically a kid)
4.Wind Waker is the result of Link dying in Majora's Mask (kinda makes sense)
5. Twilight Princess is also the result of Link Dying in Majora's Mask, but nothing would be different if Link DIDN'T die because OoT Link's Death has nothing to do with TP, just the fact that he dies in some way (where the hell did this come from)
6. Doesn't say who the Hero's shade, but there is a 610 chance it was link from OoT, a 36/100 for it to be Minish Cap link and a 24/100 that its TP link's Father (what?)
Okay, the official timeline is out and here are the notables
1. Link to the past is actually what happens if ganon Wins, but that in turn causes him to somehow die (and be brought back 3 times) and then he is just curbstomped at Zelda 2
2.Fourswords Adventures Happens after Ocarina of time (makes sense) but is also where ganon makes a suprise apearance (wait, WTF) as a...Reincarnation
3. Minish Cap's Vaati made Ganon the Demon king and Vaati is a God(makes no sense they call him a wizard ingame)
Oh, i guess that would make more sense, with that thing at the beginning when he's falling and all that wierd stuff comes floating up. It does seem a bit strange though that there is just randomly an interdimensionsal portal in the woods somewhere. But he was searching for Navi originally when he went into the woods.
Termina and hyrule cant be alternate dimensions, OoT Link went to Termina to search for Navi. I always viewed hyrule as a continent, not a whole world, and Termina was just a different province in Hyrule, or a different continent. Also the mask collector mustve been pretty friggin desperate to get majoras mask to go to the dark realm...
@wolftrail123 He didn't go Termina to look for Navi. He went in the woods, his horse and ocarina got stolen, then fell through an extradimensional portal chasing after the culprit.. Also the Hyrule Historia confirms it's a parellel dimension.
@megamannt125 Actually according to the storyline in the Hyrule Historia young Link did go on a journey in search for Navi and yes his horse did get stolen along the way which led him into the world of Termina. It also states that Link borrowed Epona from Lon Lon Ranch to go on this journey.
@megamannt125 Rewatch the opening to Majora's Mask. it says he goes on a journey "in search of a beloved and invaluable friend. A friend with whom he parted ways when he finally filled his heroic destiny..."
plus the hyrule historia book specifically says it
@megamannt125 Oh, I see what you're saying. Anyway, watching a lot of these theory videos has given me a thought about the exact nature of termina... I'll do more research but be looking to see if I make a video on it soon,
you should've mentioned that the Majora's Mask was originally a piece of the armour of a terrible beast wich terrorrised the people long ago, until a stranger came (in the image of the fierce Deity) and played a song on his drum (possibly the song of healing?). the beast was dancing 3 days and nights until it droped death because of exhaustment. It was the only way to defeat the best. The stranger made the mask out of the armour and a tribe possibly found it afterwards. (Info in the Manga of MM)
@RikThunder33 Canon refers to anything that's officially confirmed. The Manga isn't canon to the game, so nothing about it is official, and shouldn't be taken into account for theories.
Pretty much the only official evidence we can rely on is that which Eiji Aonuma directly worked on; the games Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess in this case.
they do, in tp hero's shade or the golden wolf looks like he is link! why? because hero's shade sword and shiled kinda looks like mm links last sword and shiled you get. so mm link went back to in the woods to search like he was doing but died when he got older. so mm link is back to theach tp link moves to defeet foes so he does not die. btw not my idea some one else who was trying to make a zelda time line. and i know i spelled shild wrong
ok my idea about termina and hyrule isn't that they're in parrallel dimensions but instead the lost woods kind of serves as a link between multiple worlds and that the dark tribe in twilight princess simply took majoras mask and casted it within the lost woods which would be a good explanation for how the happy mask man got it in the first place
@GiaariaLOVES It's in a book released by Nintendo called the Hyrule Historia. Just google it and you're sure to get results. It's not 100% translated yet since Zelda sites are just now recieving it (it's japan only) but the timeline part has been.
I doubt there's a connection, Majora's Mask happens right after Ocarina of time, the salesman says the evil tribe has already vanished, it can't possibly be the Twili since in Twilight Princess they still live, and Twilight Princess most likely happened after Ocarina.
In ooT when your in hyrule as an adult you see destruction.that was of the moon falling.even so it happened in a parellel dimension,I believe it didn't
I don't think that the fused shadows and majoras mask are parallel versions of each other, but maybe they could be the same thing? If the Majoras mask gets re-sealed in the realm, then maybe the inhabitants made some changes to it?. or if it was destroyed (sorry, I'm not sure I don't have the game) made another thing based on it, or using the same methods. The majoras mask could BE The fused shadows! Twilight princess is quite far in the future...
After ocarina of time, if link stayed an adult, it wouldve led to a time chaos, so good thing he was sent back in time to live on his adventures, and its his families duties (his descendants) to live on and protect the world from Ganon/ Ganondorf.
Little known fact: Twilight Princess takes place about 100 years after majoras mask
in the twilight they were eternally locked away midna however penetrated it and it was weakened but before she took the majoras mask she was take by zant who then turned her into imp midna then with the cage weakened the happy mask salesman (HMS) one of the descendants of the dark interlopers broke through and stole the majoras mask
i think that the dark interlopers are the old rulers of the world for it states in another zelda game that 'the world started as darkness and then when the dark rulers were locked away the light came' so my theory is that a bold hero (probably link at another time) trapped the dark interlopers in the twilight realm in the twilight realm they made two powerful items fused with there souls and then they invaded the realm of hyrule were they were slain the powerful items were returned to twilight
I'm not too familiar with Majora's Mask [game] but I do know the broad story. What If the dark Interloper's are the Ikana. As I've said I don't know much just inputting.
the mask is full of hatred and greed, and is the manifestation of ganondorf's spirit after you kill him, sent back in time thousands of years. it was his only chance of escape, and he used his dark magic to compress his body into his heart and become a mask. notice the creepy yellow eyes and a dark heart shape
I personally don't agree with Hyrule and Termina being different dimensions, one supporting detail I can stir up is that in the end of Majora's Mask, Skull kid says something along the lines of "You smell like that fairy kid who taught me that song in the woods." So that's obviously referencing the side quest in OOT where you teach that Skull Kid Saria's Song. Meaning that in fact, the 2 places are linked. But, one could also say they're different dimensions but are linked through the Lost Woods
For the guy asking about Fierce Deity mask there's not much about. As much as its hard to believe, its not too important. If you read the manga, for Majoras Mask, it tells you about a "Man" who went to an ancient "Beast" whom no one could kill. The beast was the strongest thing on earth with unimaginable power. Not going into detail to ruin it. I read and saw (It was a manga) the man killing the beast and carving his body and bones into "Armor" and power. The armor was just like FD Links armor.
Nice theory. But I have a question though. How does the Fierce Deity fit into this. I think in MM it was said that the Fierce Deity and Majora were enemies...I think I really can't remember.
how the heck did you figure all that out?
TheSethy89 10 hours ago
Well, in the Manga of Majora's Mask (which I consider partially canon), the Majora's Mask was created from the hide of a man-eating monster that lived in a "timeless" place by a warrior resembling the Fierce Deity, but I think that Majora's Mask is connected with the Twili in some way just as the Fused Shadows are as well

TheForeverRemedy 3 weeks ago
@megamannt15 Actually the mask was created by a hero who killed a demon with wish-granting armor (why the mask grants wishes). The armor was filled with the greed of the people the demonic armor-wearing beast had eaten.

@raneanubis theres a picture of the eyes at the end is there really a point of saying it?
talesfangirl 1 month ago
@talesfangirl What a stupid question think things through before you reply with stupidity. Do you see a picture of Midna and Majora's mask next to each other in comparison? Did he at all mention the fact that their eyes are similar? No. Not everyone noticed this similarity therefor YES there is a point in me saying it. Sit down.
raneanubis 1 month ago
since you had to collect peices of the fuse shadow it could make sense to say it was majoras mask but broken since termina was a pretty much parralel place to hyrule one could say if that mask broke its counter part could have been broken and once majoras mask was found as was its opposite the fuse shadow. It would make sense since ganon is in the twilight realm throughout majoras mask and thus would make sense that while link was their ganon found the other mask.
07Bloodrain 1 month ago
Let's Hypothetically reverse what you're saying, let's say that young link went through the experience of Majora's Mask, and then grew older from young link to the adult link we know today as in Twilight Princess, that would make more sense to me since he was sent back in time from Zelda in Ocarina of Time. I do have other theories and with more details but Youtube will only allow me so many words in my comment/
ShiroHichigo 1 month ago
@ShiroHichigo i think it goes like this: After sometime after Majoras Mask, Link is killed and turned into a Stalfos, who is later called The Hero of Shade, and as we all know he is Twilight Princess Link's mentor, but may be also be his father because TP Link was a rancher and he rode Epona so he could have had a child with Malon who lived at Lon Lon Ranch..
Makes sence to me
Zentrix97 1 month ago
Perhaps they are the same thing..... only majora's mask was created in the normal realm.... and the fused shadows are the remains of majora's mask after it was destroyed.... possibly rebuilt in the design of the twilight realm..... maybe...

had such a hard time acquiring it. The gerudo don't associate with men of other races, so they wouldn't have simply let him walk in and take it.
Demigod214 1 month ago
So basically, the Gerudo race created the "Dark Power", and was therefore banished to the twilight realm. Hence why in Twilight Princess, the mirror that acted as a portal to the realm was situated in the Gerudo desert, why the desert has since been lifted above hyrule and is no longer reachable without some kind of magic or gimmicks, and also why the gerudo people seemingly stopped existing after OoT. If the desert people also created Majora's Mask, that would explain why he
Demigod214 1 month ago 18
@Demigod214 i think the dark power that they tried to create was to resurrect ganondorf after his execution (child timeline) due to he was the prince of the thieves and the gerudos wanted revenge since they thought their leader died for no reason since link told the royal family his evil ways but the gerudos never heard about link's story
TheAlbinoGoron 3 weeks ago
@Demigod214
I like that theroy it is very likely. I could see how that happened.
FUNimation343 4 days ago
In TP, they stated that the twilight realm was created to seal away a bloodline that created a dark power. Also, in TP, we see that Ganondorf was being sealed away in the Twilight realm for using this dark power. Since this power was from a single bloodline, we just follow where Ganondorf came from. He's a Gerudo. Only one male is born in the gerudo race every hundred years, so we can assume that they all fall under a single bloodline.

The beast Thought he was an assasin. the travler plays a song for 3 days while the beast dances. the beast falls. the traveler then kills the beast and carves the mask hoping its powers shall never be used again.
Flareboy3232 1 month ago
And Finally:
Cherryblossoms13100 1 month ago
7.Link's Awakening was entirely canon (that doesn't actually matter, since it was a dream...i think)
8.Ganon gets Reused to many times and should just die (actually my personal opinion, but seeing the same damn pig over and over is anoying and uncreative in my opinion)
9. Zant is unimportant to the major story and probably won't be seen outside of TP (sux, he had great potential, but was kinda spoiled being over shadowed by Ganon (like most villains))
Cherryblossoms13100 1 month ago
@Cherryblossoms13100 You're all jumbled up. Wind Waker is the result of Link leaving the adult timeline at the end of Ocarina of Time. Also Link doesn't die in Majora's Mask. You should read the Hyrule Historia.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 The Hyrule Historia is based on games that were created. If that book really made sense there was information in it about a future game, believe me Nintendo will make 15 more games and it will have nothing to do with the Hyrule Hisotria you've read. Besides that is confirmed that Majora is actually a dragon and the mask was made from it's armor.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy The book was edited by Miyamoto and Aonuma. Everything in the Historia is 100% canon in every sense of the word. Of course they didn't have information about future games, they haven't been made yet. This is how Nintendo works, they make a game, and then place it on the timeline. They don't plan out every game they're going to make in the future and where they go, that would be ridiculous. And no, that isn't confirmed, the manga isn't canon.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 Just what you said, they make a game and then put it on the timeline, not the other way around. So there's actually no connection between the games. PS: Look for 'Link to the future' let's say the part I'm talking about is at 2:47 and well, that's why it doesn't make sense to me -.- they could've said theres no real timeline and actually made the book for nothing
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy Your logic doesn't make any sense. They released an official book with games in a certain order. That's a timeline and it's just the way it is. I don't really understand what you're trying to say to be honest.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 I'm saying the book is bull.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy No, it isn't. It's the official timeline of the developers themselves. Denying it is on the same levels as fanfiction and is just plain foolishness. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that the book is "bull". You may not like the timeline but it's fact, and you might as well deal with it.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 I think, stating think, that they've been sucking it out of their thumbs just trying to make sense, but the book doesn't make sense in any way. I think they created the book just for extra cash. How could Wind Waker be the result of link dying? It's his bloodline and as far as I know link didn't hump anyone. According to the book OOT link was never the hero of time since he traveled back and nothing happend and Miyamoto didn´t create the last 8 stories himself so...
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy I think you just have a poor misunderstanding on non-linear time travel. Wind Waker is the result of Link leaving the adult timeline. At the end of Ocarina of Time, Link is sent back to relive his childhood and changes the past thus leading into Twilight Princess where Ganondorf was to be executed, however the timeline in which he sealed Ganondorf away at the end of OOT didn't cease to exist, it went on into Wind Waker.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 Yeah so basically that 2nd timeline never was there, because it must be this OR that. You only live in 1 timeline, so why would they make games on different timelines?
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy Again, you're thinking of time too linear. The second timeline didn't cease to exist. There is no scientific proof that time is linear or non-linear, so you can't even use time as a way to denounce the timeline. It's also a fictional universe and the developers can do whatever they want.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 And that's why I think the story doesn't make sense xD
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@Cherryblossoms13100 Look at the intro of Skyward´s story at the demons. Next to Ghirahim is Zant I believe, the white face spills it. Ganon died several times but gets resurrected, it makes no sense. How could Wind Waker link be a bloodline of Majora´s mask dead link if link never humped anyone? Minish cap link Hero of Time? HOW? OOT Link actually never had the title of Hero of Time because when you go back in time nothing happend... you tell me.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy Wind Waker Link is unrelated to OOT Link. The King of Red Lions says this. Twilight Princess Link is the bloodline of OOT Link (who didn't die in Majora's Mask, I have no idea where you got that from)
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 But according to the legend of the Wind Waker, the hero was gone when Ganondorf returned from it's seal which made the goddess barry the land under water. First, ganondorf wasn't sealed in Twilight second, that link never left it's land causing to split the triforce in pieces. And then again, are there no Kokiri in Twilight and the Deku Tree says Kokiri became Koroks.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy The hero of time was gone, He left that timeline at the end of Ocarina of time. This is what I was trying to explain to you. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker take place on two completely different temporal planes of existence where the events in Ocarina of Time took two different paths.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy I know it's just that they tried to create a storyboard but I think they failed making one causing it's timeline to split because this or that could happen.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy The timeline split has existed since Wind Waker was very first introduced and the fans knew this. The only problem with the complete timeline is it suggests a third timeline leading into Link to the Past, which is a hypothetical "what if" scenario in which Link died fighting Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time, but even then it's still canon. My point is that it doesn't have to make sense, it's still canon and might as well be accepted.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@megamannt125 And my point is that I don't think the story is relevant for Nintendo in any way and they just create random games trying to make sense. But like you said, it doesn't make sense. So it was actually irrellevant for nintendo to make such a stupid book.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy Furthermore, you should actually finish Skyward Sword since it tells you why Ganondorf keeps getting reincarnated and resurrected.
megamannt125 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy 1. They specifically said that Link in WW is not related in anyway to any previous links AT ALL. he obtained an entirely new title, "Hero of the Wind".
2.Zant probably made a cameo apearance because they thought that are lokked to empty, he is never even thought of outside of TP and is un important after he is killed.
3.There is also a high probability that it was just a whight dude, and not Zant at all, since the "Youngest" Zelda period is TP, where Zant rises to power
Cherryblossoms13100 1 month ago
@Cherryblossoms13100 LOL? Did you even play the wind waker? Howmany connections are there? Kokiri's turned into Koroks, the deku three is there, lord jabu is there, the sages are framed in the room of the master sword so is final form of Ganon of OOT, the shield is passed down by its generation, link is the bloodline of the hero of time, and you're saying Miyamoto claims now it has NOTHING to do with OOT? Dude thefk? And when Link left the land he was only 11 years old so no, he couldn't.
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@Cherryblossoms13100 You know what, I'm done discussing this ><
ShibbyDaisy 1 month ago
@ShibbyDaisy Also, as a reply to "if link never humped anyone" ... here a possibility of "Who" he COULD'VE...y'know (Its rated E anyway) in a list of least most likely.
5.Saria (least probable, since she is still technically a kid)
4.Nabooru (name's probably wrong)
3.Ruto
2.Zelda (since they aren't related in that game)
1.Malon (Most likely)
Cherryblossoms13100 1 month ago
4.Wind Waker is the result of Link dying in Majora's Mask (kinda makes sense)
5. Twilight Princess is also the result of Link Dying in Majora's Mask, but nothing would be different if Link DIDN'T die because OoT Link's Death has nothing to do with TP, just the fact that he dies in some way (where the hell did this come from)
6. Doesn't say who the Hero's shade, but there is a 610 chance it was link from OoT, a 36/100 for it to be Minish Cap link and a 24/100 that its TP link's Father (what?)
Cherryblossoms13100 1 month ago
Okay, the official timeline is out and here are the notables
1. Link to the past is actually what happens if ganon Wins, but that in turn causes him to somehow die (and be brought back 3 times) and then he is just curbstomped at Zelda 2
2.Fourswords Adventures Happens after Ocarina of time (makes sense) but is also where ganon makes a suprise apearance (wait, WTF) as a...Reincarnation
3. Minish Cap's Vaati made Ganon the Demon king and Vaati is a God(makes no sense they call him a wizard ingame)

It does seem a bit strange though that there is just randomly an interdimensionsal portal in the woods somewhere. But he was searching for Navi originally when he went into the woods.
wolftrail123 1 month ago
Termina and hyrule cant be alternate dimensions, OoT Link went to Termina to search for Navi. I always viewed hyrule as a continent, not a whole world, and Termina was just a different province in Hyrule, or a different continent. Also the mask collector mustve been pretty friggin desperate to get majoras mask to go to the dark realm...
wolftrail123 1 month ago 2
@wolftrail123 He didn't go Termina to look for Navi. He went in the woods, his horse and ocarina got stolen, then fell through an extradimensional portal chasing after the culprit.. Also the Hyrule Historia confirms it's a parellel dimension.

you should've mentioned that the Majora's Mask was originally a piece of the armour of a terrible beast wich terrorrised the people long ago, until a stranger came (in the image of the fierce Deity) and played a song on his drum (possibly the song of healing?). the beast was dancing 3 days and nights until it droped death because of exhaustment. It was the only way to defeat the best. The stranger made the mask out of the armour and a tribe possibly found it afterwards. (Info in the Manga of MM)

@TuahShinguru hm..I can't find that word in goole yet....okay: what is 'canon'? o.o

ChimChampGaming 1 month ago
i think that the dark interlopers are the old rulers of the world for it states in another zelda game that 'the world started as darkness and then when the dark rulers were locked away the light came' so my theory is that a bold hero (probably link at another time) trapped the dark interlopers in the twilight realm in the twilight realm they made two powerful items fused with there souls and then they invaded the realm of hyrule were they were slain the powerful items were returned to twilight
