The main problem is the version that this is taken from is, so far, the best copy you will see. I have no confirmation of the quality to this versus the original, as they only show the original once in a blue moon at a theater in LA.

The covers of Beatles songs in this movie are far superior to that of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with Frampton and the Bee Gees released a year or two later.

This is a hard film to acquire apparently.

I can't believe this was actually made.  The entire concept hurts my head and that's ignoring the fact that it was financed by a major studio. I can't even begin to imagine how it was pitched in the first place. It's just insanity.

I love Roy Wood's cover of 'Polythene Pam', although it's a bit of a shame part of the song has been edited out. My favourite song from the film is Jeff Lynne's 'With A Little Help From My Friends / Nowhere Man'.

some of these scenes, especially with Hitler and the hundreds of thousands of Nazi troops with their flags are quite frightening. it's insane to think that this was real!

a very weird project. i heard it was in cinemas for about 1 week, and totally flopped at the box office with ALL reviews being terrible.

I'm a HUGE fan of Status Quo, but their take on "Getting Better" is sooooooo bad!
