Thank you very much. I am just beginning to learn. At 68, I want to learn to play an instrument before I die. If I could play like this someday, my dream will have been more than realized. Again, thanks. Spruce of Labrador
at 2:09 on the womans hair of her braids there is Fur,what is it called. nobody in my family knows cause they HAVE forgot alot about being native and what we wore. anyhow i love the flute music. its the most peaceful and pleasin to the ear. brings beautiful thoughts, visions and things that help the mind be clam. PEACE OUT.From Joy'al. (BLACKFOOT and CHEROKEE) so many cherokees!:)
I don't know why, but this is SO amazingly beautiful!! There is something about not only the instrument, but especially the way it is played. So much emotions, soul, feeling.. Beautiful.. Just beautiful. ~Namaste~
Thank you, I appreciate the many replies. If you search KamaNandi on iTunes or the net, you'll find the CD available for sale with that piece included. Thanks again.
Oh my! Thank you Mentalist! I will most definitely search for KamaNandi.
So funny, I was looking for mediation videos. Found a zillion, but not liking many. Then stumbled upon this beauty by accident and fell in love with it immediately! :DDD
You have a gift, a talent. I will support you by buying your cd. Love it!
Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. ~ Namaste~
Thanks for posting this and ENJOY I did!! It was so beautiful and you are very talented. Thanks also for posting where you can download music. I will meditate to this lovely music. Native American music is so soothing. I Have Creek Indian roots as well as Dutch-Irish. I guess that's why this speaks to my soul.
You are one heck of a native flute player. I have a couple of Coyote Oldman's flutes. They have a great sound, which makes me sound better playing than I am. :) I'm very impressed by your music.
Just finished playing my Kiowa Love flute. I am going to also order Eriks Native Drone flute. He will make them even though they are not posted on his web site.
Very well done, I love my kiowa from Erik. I bought it in 04. And usually play it every day, and before I sleep. I seem to play it more than my 5 other native american flutes. The Bamboo makes a great "windy" sound and Makes a Perfect Flute for a Native american 5 or 6 hole. Try out Eriks Side blown Shakuhatchi for a real peacefull get away.
o'c'mon guys, its not about the flute...its the music...not the one who made it but how we deal with each other dats why its titled Meditation so that we should look inside ourselves and discover who we really are...
@badspens i agree..... i listen to wide variety of music but nothing gives me the feeling that native american music does.... it seeps into me, flushes out the bad, makes me want to live how they did and have the respect, knowledge, wisdom, that they had. its a shame we wiped out the majority of their community without a second thought..... we could have learned so much.... i believe we still can learn though... through their music.... be at piece natives
Part 1 of the comment:This flute has nothing to do with Kiowas except that the creator of this flute named it such. Our (Kiowa) flutes are made of mainly cedar or some other hardwood. We never used bamboo. If you were to visit Erik the flute maker's site you will find that the flute calls a Kiowa Love flute was actually a style of pipe brought to him to him by a Non Kiowa who was taught by a Cree flute maker, not a Kiowa.
.If one wants a real Kiowa flute, they can be bought in Southwest Oklahoma and I have seen some real ones on Ebay. I'm not doing this to hate on anybody. I just want to make sure that you understand that this is just a name and NOT a real Kiowa flute. It does have a sweet sound though, doesn't it? It's just not a real Kiowa flute. It's just more exploitive marketing.
U.N.I.T.Y. is going to Oklahoma this summer of 2007. Natives from all over the nation will be there. Come share your culture, and meet new peopel. Their will be dances and games. Their will also be educational workshops for college and health. Last year famous native actor Adam Beach came. Come see who will come this year. Visit unityinc. org for more information. Hope to see you there. I'm going:)

No such thing as MP3. If you can test your mind on studying this wonderful theme. You can hear it! if you really try even without no noise.
