thats the thing about going into a future where we only rely on computers because (as this video shows) technology is not always reliable yet alot of the 'old fashioned' ways of doing things are. might take more work, but its far more satisfying to feel you've done something for yourself rather then having a machine doing it for ya

i think its another sign to show how in future people will take technology for granted, when something new is invented people think its marvellous but after a while they move on to the next new piece of tech and no longer care for the old. i think the vid shows how being that way isn't always for the better

Not only does he have to re-learn how to write, the symbolism in this video also shows were neglecting more and more as computers become more and more advanced with more functionality. Notice how he used his pet fish as a pencil sharpener and killed it, and he didn't even notice.
