Planet of the Dead follows the one year ahead formula, so it's set during Easter 2010.

We have Children of Earth in September 2009, SJA series 3 October and November 2009, and The End of Time December 2009. Shoved them all at the end of the year.

SJA series 3 references Planet of the Dead, and The End of Time can't be set after it, either because of that (among Naismith being in business during the special, the recession, and the prophecy).

The End of Time was set during December 2009, SJA series 3 was October and November time 2009, both placing Planet of the Dead in Easter 2009.

Series 5 is set throughout 2010 (leaked info and audio reveals that).

Only series 1 to 4 followed the one year ahead formula, then the stories that aired in 2009 were set in 2009, placing them in the same year as last year's stories. RTD'S way of cleaning up for Moffat.

Everything that's wrong with this video:

1. Torchwood is made up of Jack, Ianto and Gwen by this point. Nobody else.

2. Torchwood are based in Cardiff. It would take a while to get there.

3. As far as the police are concerned, Torchwood never even existed. UNIT were always the guys you'd call for spooky-doos.

4. By 'Exit Wounds', they were all wearing red-shirts. In both Journey's End and Children of Earth, what was left of Torchwood got their asses handed to them.

5. UNIT > Torchwood, anyway.
