  • I have bipolar disorder and Cordelia's story struck me hard, because I am in nearly the exact same position right down to my home life and my depressions adversely affecting my ability to create. I'm struggling very hard to keep myself on an even keel so that I can actually write, so seeing this documentary was very good for me, if difficult to watch. Thank you for uploading it (and thanks to Stephen Fry as well!).

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the song at 2:45

  • Great documentary. Thanks for uploading this.

  • im going doctors tomorrow in a way i hope i have bipolar so i can move forward with my life

  • I guess it's like trying to escape.

  • I didn't realise before how many celebrities had this condition as to me they don't seem the kind of people to have it, but it is an illness that anyone can have and I am really proud of Stephen and all of the other people that have come forward to talk about this illness - it is something that needs to be spoken about and something that everyone needs to understand. Thank you so much for uploading this :)

  • Its impossible to define what happiness is.

  • im curious what the skin condition on Jans face is?

  • Awesome, thanks for posting!

  • Thank you stephen fry and thank you crushproof for uploading this.

  • Robert Smith @ 2.50 - he helped me for years.

    that's called winning, right Charlie?

  • I can identify with everything Stephen is saying... why won't my psychiatrist return my calls??

  • @Endicottdude1 Yes, but it wouldn't be fulfilling enough to a man like him. It would be like telling your problems to a friend (debatably an imaginary one), but it wouldn't get to the root of it. Its too psychological. I understand it because I relate, not totally, but to a point.

  • Isn't this a simple case of having more more than sense?

  • Great docu! Gave me tremendous insight

  • What's the name of that last song. Starts around 11:30?

  • @Kwyjibo2006 Not sure but it sounds very typical of Phillip Glass. If you find out let me know.

  • @randwan By the sound of it, it's Dead Things by Philip Glass, from the soundtrack of The Hours.

  • I love the hunting analogy.

  • I want to go shopping with Stephen too!

  • I want to go shopping with Stephen!

  • I just dont get the euro trance tune, wtf?

  • Strange. I have these symptoms, but without the up side. I dont think I have a disorder though.

  • @maneatingtoilets Your probably just human, and are eating well & therefor healthy. hmmmmm..... Don't tell that to a psychiatrist, they might write you a prescription; there's a drug for every symptom of the human condition apparently.

  • this is amazing

i came here knowing nothing about this issue, and now i feel as though i know most things other people dont

  • 2:45 aaaaand the awful music is back... sigh!

  • I love it when he says "i'll tell you what you've discovered about me - i'm actually insane".

Where's the clip with Tony Slattery?

  • @sarahparsons87 Tony Slattery is in the first episode.

  • This was a particularly informative episode of this series.

    I like Cordelia.

  • Thank you so so so much for uploading this - I appreciate it enormously. =)

  • "Not for all the tea in China."

  • At least Stephen is good for the economy. He's good at everything, though, really.

  • @audiophile71 Not so good at happiness as you must have noticed.

  • This is life changing.

  • Thanks for the upload!
