I have an iggy named Hammy and he is the perfect "son". We love him like a child and he is more important than any "dog" could ever be, I totaly get your point and anyone who ever owns a greyhound of any stature would understand what a blessing they are!!! !

Yeah, my whippet Jake passes gas a lot...but mostly when he gets treats that he isn't used to! My female Coriander has been recently as well - but she has been eating puppy food where she just had a litter of pups last month.

maybe you give Stan something to eat that is not the right thing for him...I dont know what you feed. I feed high premium food like Eukanuba or Royal and I have the impression that it is very good for my dogs. Maybe the best would be if a vet checks your dog to see why he has that problem. Hope your dog will be right soon.

I have never had a better friend like him. He always gets happy when he see me, even when he does not feel very well. I am afraid those skills are hardly findable in humans, unfortunately.

Shredacuda - One of the things alot of whippet owners will tell you that they love about thier whippets is thier independant nature and quirky personalties. I personally own two (who our perfectly house broken) but they aren't for everybody :) Dadalop your dogs are beautifull

i've known lots of people who have trouble training their small sighthounds......i own a kennel too....hard too train.......

all my sighthounds I had until now, whippets and IG where very fast clean. My whippet Aika who came to us as a puppy at the age of 3 months did pee in all her life just one time, the first day- in the house!

IGs and whippets are wonderful, adorable and very clean dogs!

They look great! How much fur do these guys lose cause i also have a dog,an English Blue Staffy i love him alot but i would like some thing a little bit smaller and something i can keep inside most of the time, And these little fella's look like my type of dog.

Nothing is hard to be trainED when you love them.

Always hard "to train" when you get bored easily.

Or, you don't know how to train dogs. My IG rings a doorbell when he needs to go to the bathroom. It only took a couple of days to train (not ALL day mind you, just a couple of minutes at a time). Easy as pie.
