my daughter who is now 1yr old has a vsd and based on her last 2d echo result the size of it is .44cm which is quiet big.. since the day she was diagnosed with a vsd she started taking medication Lanoxin elixir to help function her heart.. physically she looks healthy and very active baby. im not losing hope that god will give some miracle to my baby..
movements of heart, pericardium is outer most layer of heart.
ventricles r 2 lower chamber of heart, normally rt chamber pump blood to lungs (for oxygenation of blood) and left ventricle to the whole body. there is whole present between the septum of ventricle, this allow mixing of pure (oxygenated) or impure blood, consequences of that appear as symptoms.
ok this video is good and all, but i'm a little confused between the interviewer and interviewee. you guys should let each other finish talking before u jump in.
hi there, i have a heart murmur just like your daughter. my cardiologist gave me a medication when i was young and the hole eventually got smaller by itself. basically, what í'm trying to say is if it's not a serious case, surgery is not required =D however, my cardiologist advised that i must have antibiotic prior any surgery that I might plan to have in the future.

I have VSD they told me that i can't do the surgery but the Doc told me that i'll live a normal life and do anything i want to do. So I don't think about a whole lot. They told me this around 13 years old
I was born with 2 VSD and they never closed after birth, it took over my life for 18 years after 2 fontan procedures (look them up on here) many operations. many catherisation operations, all the medication, all the work we (me and my doctors) there was nothin for mr to do i needed a HEART TRANSPLANT, so on july 6 2007 i had it at the age of 18. I am still going strong and am at university studying childrens nursing and i am here 2 say 2 anyone with VSD or HLHS. YOU WILL GET THROUGH IT.
My girlfriend has VSD and PAS and she is in a bad way. I wish there was a way to just fix this problem as it has taken over her life :( Feel sorry for all the people who have either
Doctor can VSD in a adult be repaired ?
am 21 years old , my VSD is LARGE , and i also suffer from Pulmonary hypertension.

@szeyus
by anyone of the above,
my personal view is that u must wait for some time and then opt for surgery.
this is very common congenital anomaly and in many cases it will rectify its own.
