  • your facts are wrong fox bodies dont weight as much as civics the heaviest civic would weight around 2300 pounds or less and the lightest foxbody weights around 2600 and thats with weight reduction

  • I used to be a big Chevy guy, into camaro's and such. but I recently make the change to Honda's I have a 93 dx hatch. and I love it. it's almost insane to think of suck a small motor making crazy HP, but Ive seen it personally and I cant wait to build a motor. d16z6 all the way.

  • @sctflasher379 psi doesnt determine power alone, you gotta take into consideration of the turbo.. with a t3/t4 58 trim 8 psi probably brings u to 250whp, than it goes on from there.. whereas a 14b will need an xx [notice the 2 x's] to get you to 250whp

  • @ensforeva12906 Build the head. Even if you somehow force that much power out of the motor with a stock valvetrain, you're going to float a valve or something after a while. On the stock head I wouldn't go over like 260, if that. Go to turbod16.com and read for about two months and you'll be able to make semi educated decisions about it. On a 400 HP build you're gonna need a good amount of money dropped into the motor . . .

  • No, larger size compressors will flow more. PSI is aritrary. Pounds per square inch. If your turbo is larger, it flows more mass.

  • each turbo does different things each size does different things no matter the psi some will have boost leaks some will have turbo lag so size/type/model/brand is kind of everything well in my eyes i see it as being everything

  • It's an aftermarket brand of pistons that are designed for the Suzuki Grand Vitara....but they are the perfect size for D16's so the Honda guys use these aftermarket (non-forged) pistons in their D-series cars. They cost anywhere from $90-$150 depending on where you get them for. Search Honda-tech for more specific info.

  • Using Susuki Vitara Pistons:

    Need to get them out of the 98-99 Suzuki Vaitra 1.6 sohc (also used in some Suzuki Esteems)

    code of piston = G16

    NOT Forged

    Have floating style wrist pins.

    Can use stock wrist pins.

    75mm bore (available os)

  • OEM Suzuki Vitara pistons from the dealer aren't proven. It's the aftermarket Vitara brands, specifically the YCP brand, that has be PROVEN to 400+whp with proper tune. Go to TD16 . com for time slips and build details.

  • You're an idiot, sure the car doesn't make gobs of tq compared to its max hp on the dyno, BUT FK-ING think about almost 300 lbs of it compared to the stock 80-90. That car is going to fly, and probably at least run 11-12's. I'm sure it didn't cost more than 3 grand from the right sources.
