Dell is not necessarily bad. Companies get a lot of good support. Consumers not so much in general. Newegg is crappy. Lian li is pronounced somewhat different, and they are good but very expensive. Coolermaster has some good and cheaper cases. Asus and Abit have the most FUCKED bioses ever. Gigabyte for good and longlasting, but powerhungry, MSI for good value and not much poweruse, Intel for proper no frills boards. Zalman is too loud. Design is too old. Get Scythe or Noctua.

As for brands, their is no right brand. I have an xfx video card right now. It's quiet, it runs great, it holds great. Would I go out and just pick up another of that brand? Fuck no, pc components are so bugged the hell out you look for trial testers first to see how back they got fucked with it.

ATI makes great videocards. Nothing wrong with it, also needs no crappy bit cable for sound over HDMI. My GTX460 does good so far though.
My ssd's will outrun your 10K's everyday buddy. Also: hostraid will fuck up. Get softraid or a good Areca or LSI.

Dell is not necessarily bad. Companies get a lot of good support. Consumers not so much in general. Newegg is crappy. Lian li is pronounced somewhat different, and they are good but very expensive. Coolermaster has some good and cheaper cases. Asus and Abit have the most FUCKED bioses ever. Gigabyte for good and longlasting, but powerhungry, MSI for good value and not much poweruse, Intel for proper no frills boards. Zalman is too loud. Design is too old. Get Scythe or Noctua.

Granted, they are s939, a 775 and some crossfire board, so they may have improved somewhat, but I still aint buying. There is a Asus p67 here is my house that still has problems with spd readouts and S3.

Get a Lanli they are very robust and they can take a fall, tho I don't suggest your drop it! Get a heat sync/fan I don't really know many brands I think this is a zalman, yeah, its a zalman get whatever you want I don't really care. No onegives a shit how you cool your pc and the Condensation my is next to my desk with some of the air holes covered and it still runs at 36 Deg C.
