Hilarious video. I liked the captions a lot. Congrats on the door mat. That is one hell of a flatty. Dealing with a 25+ pound halibut during the day can be tough enough. I can hardly imagine shooting a fish like that at night, that shallow, in the swell. Looks exciting.
@spearfishusmc I don't know about camp pendleton, I've never dove there since I'm not a marine. But I'd recommend checking out Laguna Beach for spearfishing in general. Halibut show up anywhere there's reef structure and sand. It's just hard to find them since there's not a ton of them in the water.

Where would u tell a marine to spear fish. Im on camp.pendlton. are there any good halibut there

try a polespear with with close ranges like this nothing is better or faster.
