  • To brutaltruth.. please die soon and take your racist drivel with you. Everybody else is talking about this great little film with such fondness. Your contribution is mean-spirited, unwarranted and unwanted. What a sad little troll you are.

  • It's Wednesday 14th sept 2011, it's 13.30 and it's on ch4 uk, great film!!! I thought the opening scenes when the 2 teachers where walking to school, looked like Liverpool??? Please if anyone knows, let us know!!! I also spotted "Liverpool are great" painted on a wall!! It just seemed strange if it's a street in London!!!!

  • Oh the looked and sounded like the school i went to! Ha ha

  • I just love this sitcom classic comedy.

  • why was todd carty in thiis the one who wet himself ?

  • @earth123ism well spotted!!!!!

  • @johnbarry1965 you can tell it is todd carty his face has not changed,i thought it was odd him being in in the film he would have been around 8, i suppose that was comedy back then, still a classic.

  • @earth123ism I've got "Tucker's Luck" on DVD - brilliant!!!!!!

  • THANKS for sharing! Reminds me a bit of the late 60's movie about an urban gov't school in a poor workingclass neighborhood, "To Sir with Love".

  • @TejMulen

    Correct are you.

The coach journey must be interupted whilst I lay out my prayer mat and give thanks to the god of Fenn St

  • its fireman sam

  • I SAY, MALCOLM, WOULD YOU PLEASE PASS ME THE BUTTER?

  • The film is so much better than the series. And John Alderton was fantastic.

  • @Gulftastic In the entire history of Brit sitcoms, not one went to film and was successful, everyone was a disaster, including this, I've never heard anyone in my life, preferthe movie to the series. And no disrespect, I think you are so wrong on this, this was an absolute brilliant series, the movie was mediocre to say the least

  • @afolksinger thank you, yes sadly when you look back over all the brilliant sit coms we had, none were successful on film, I think a lot had to do with the fact, that on TV they were 30 minutes, a movie, was 90, and too long to stretch one little story, after all, sit com, means, situation, so the 30 minute show, evolved around a "situation" stick to the series, you won't be be dissapointed

  • i used to attend this school

  • cheeky fuckers need some detention and a slap

  • is the boy in the yellow shirt at 35 TODD CARTY, (tucker jenkins), THE BILL ,EAST ENDERS, ETC

  • @hants68 yes it is todd carty

  • The apparent naughtiness by the 'kids' of Fenn Street, has now been replaced by drive-by machine gun murders, that make the the sixtys and seventies seem like an utopia, where did we go wrong?

  • Still, at least we don't have to watch 40 year olds cast as school children, bad acting, cheesy, unfunny, blatently racist crap like this?

  • @6mythology

we stopped clipping kids around the ear

  • love this movie, just purchased it on ebay along with a please sir mug, so i can slurp my tea and watch at the same time, class xxx

  • "Watch them, watch them!"

  • This was the beginning of the TV attack against order and discipline in schools. How much damage this must have done to those kids already with problems would have been untold. Had kids with problems been given the right guidance and professionalism they may have overcome problems they had. But no, Mr. Leslie "Laszlo Winogradsky" Grade Productions decided otherwise.

  • the teachers used physical and emotional violence, on myself and others, j lennons song working class hero, says how it was. The guides and proffesionals lost their credibility a long time ago.regards peter(dob1955)

  • I'll try and get the food fight scene on here too!
