Louth local authority don't worry about little things like enforcement either. They'd give permission to buid in the middle of a river/lake/place of natural beauty and then wonder why they would invite so many objections - which they would steadfastly ignore and issue permission anyway. They don't listen and don't want to know about infrastructure, built or natural heritage, proximity of trees, water-ways or even blind bends. Look up Louth and other local authorities records in abandonedireland.
Planning Guidelines do not have 2 be enforced, Bundoran Town Council in Donegal, do not even enforce Building Standards and Planning laws. Council Officials have a lot to answer.
