  • what do I do if I do not have a double broiler?

  • @MissWynne100 You can melt it in the microwave at 50% power

  • What fun, thanks=)

  • What a cute video! Someone brought these into my office Christmas party and I was so inspired that I decided I'd like to try and make with my niece this weekend!

  • @DJSeannie0 Great! I hope they turn out okay.

  • @yoyomax12 They turned out great! We used cherries with stems and skipped the cookie mount, and the project couldn't have been simpler. My niece loved them too, but somehow she didn't want to let anyone EAT any of them! Ha!

  • the joke at the end was very cute! :)

  • @moxee33 thanks!

  • Looks delicious and very cute!

  • @mediate27 These are really fun to make and people like them, thanks!

  • you could even do this on cup cakes like for your kids to bring to school on the day before winter break for like a winter break party at school and you could use white frosting on the cupcake for snow :P and even have some little snow balls with some big white sprinkles

  • @kiekie84 Excellent idea!

  • trying that...but I am going to cover the kiss with chocolate

  • @ginaven1 Covering the kiss with chocolate would give the whole mouse a more finished uniform look for sure!

  • wow! so cute and yummy, the bark looks so nice as well...yum!

  • @kayeruizx3 Thanks for taking the time to comment. :)

  • ur so creative!

  • @merebear48 Thank you!

  • yum!

  • @sweetkittyka87 thanks!

  • Very very creative!!!!! I love these!

  • Thanks, they were fun to make.!

  • I'm sure there is going to be a lot of moms having fun making these with the kidz this year! I love watching your cookery vids! And the usual vlogs aswell of cource! Xxx

  • I wonder if whoppers are big enough substitute for cherrys cause I hate cherrys. This is cute I wanna make!!

  • You could use anything cherry sized and chocolate covered.

Whoppers would do it, chocolate covered almonds (big ones), any boxed rounded chocolate would do too.

    Good luck!

  • Not srue if my question of shipping posted or not ..this is my first post.

  • Very first post ever? Congrats :)

  • Can these Christmas mice be shipped easily since I know you ship cookies. Thanks for sharing.

  • I don't recommend these mice for shipping because the ears will most likely break off.

You may want to use whole almonds an a little extra chocolate to glue them on.

  • too cute they look dileisioso

  • Good dunked in milk, lol.

    Thanks!

  • Those are very cute!

  • Thanks Misty!

  • SO CUTE!!! Seriously, just way too cute for words. Oh yes, little beady red eyes are just the way to go.

    Okay, LOL @ wheeeee! :)

  • I was looking for a peanut butter cookie mouse that I usually make around this time of year and I ran into this recipe. Since I had so many hershey's kisses... :)

  • wow simple and cute!

  • Very simple, thanks Tyler

  • I wouldn't even jump on a chair if I saw that mouse in my house.

I think the chocolate covered cherry would be my favorite part of that cute cookie mouse.

Have you ever eaten chocolate covered cranberries? They are yummy also.

  • Never tried a chocolate covered cranberry, I do love cranberries AND chocolate, so why not together?

  • Those mice are so darn cute. The bark at the end looks YUMMY.

  • The bark was good, I ate a sizeable piece, just to test it, of course.

  • How cute... wow the patience you have but good therapy I suppose. Thanks for sharing... my 13 yr old wants to make these. 8)

  • They are a perfect thing for a 13yr old to try, they are fairly easy to do!

  • Phoebe,

I thought they looked cute on the plate too!

    A whole plateful of meece!

  • I swear... you are just.. TOO amazing.

  • And you, my dear, are a sweetheart for leaving this comment!

    Thanks!

  • Great Job! well done and I luv ya jokes!

  • Lynne,

I really do appreciate people who take the time to leave me a comment! Thanks much.

  • cute! wonder if you could use something else besides a cherry if you don't like them ;)

  • You could use a large malted milk ball or a chocolate ball. They sell them foil wrapped at Christmas time. I use candy eyes instead of icing.

  • Malted milk balls are an excellent idea! Thanks!

  • i tried to say thanks for the ideas the other day, but YT wouldn't let me! they're so cute ;)

  • Those are too cute Tammy!

  • Thanks Daryl!

  • That is the cutest mouse I have ever seen. I am certain that Roc will agree with me.

Maxim doit aimer ces petites souris.

  • C'est possible que tu vas avoir une petite souris dans ton paquet de Noel! Fait attention!

    Je t'aime!

  • They're simply adorable little mice! Again need adapting for the UK...no Hershey's Choccie Kisses. Bet they're a hit with everyone, young or old! Jacquie (UK) x

  • No Hershie's kisses :O ! How do you survive! ;)

    Thanks Jacquie

  • That's gotta be the coolest holiday party snack ever lol. ANYTHING with Oreo can never be bad!! I love your recipies Tammy!

  • Thanks Tony!

I'm with you on the Oreo thing (they were generic oreos, don't tell anyone...lol)

  • Aw they look so adorable!

  • Thanks Dan!

Once they are done, you can bite their head off!!! Muwahahahahah

  • I am positively going to make these with my grand daughter that is 9 years old. Love it

  • She will love them and she is the perfect age to help (Max is also 9, isn't it a wonderful age?)

  • Okay, those are so darling! Love this one!

  • Jenn,

Thanks! I found the basic idea on the net of course and just modified it a smidge.

    :)

  • i love how adventurist u r!!...annie x x

  • I love trying new baking ideas and now I get to share them with everyone, YT rocks!

    Thanks Annie

  • Tammy! Those mice are adorable..what a great treat!! I am sure even Roc would enjoy those mice..lol

    Great joke of the day!!

    Have a great day!!

  • I actually made them with her in mind, lol

  • So very sweet! These would make a great treat for kids in school. Thanks for sharing! HUGS xoxoxo LOL @ your Joke Tammy!

  • I was thinking the exact thing about the kids at school. I think I may do that very thing, I may try to find a substitute for the almond ears though, you know...schools and nut allergies..

  • Those are too cute to eat!

I think Roc needs a box of those. ;)

  • Dave,

I made them with that idea in mind actually! lol Shhh....

  • those are adorable!

  • Thanks Amanda, I do like seeing your comments on my videos!

  • Thanks Lynne!

The best part of YT is reading people's comments! :)

  • How cute!!!

  • Thanks very much! :)

  • Very fun and creative. I think Santa might enjoy getting these cookies. *wink*

    So cute!

Good idea for the leftover chocolate.

    Weeeeeee!

    take care - jenn

  • I was just about to pour the chocolate into the garbage and then I saw the leftover cookies I had from the package. I turned out pretty good.

    Thanks Jenn

  • You come up with the cutest things! Love it.

  • I found the idea on the net because I wanted to send Roc a "mouse" in the mail!

  • Tammy you are so creative! Cute lil mouse! hehehe I just want to make everything you make because it all looks so good! Hugs!

  • Thank you sweet Melissa!

  • I LOVE this! I think I am going to try it and send them to my nephews in CT and make some for the nieces and nephews here!

  • The only problem I see with shipping them anywhere is that the ears break off easily, you May want to try whole almonds for the ears and add a little more chocolate in the "neck" to glue them on.

  • Thanks for the hints Tammy! I think these boys (22 and 23) will probably just throw them in their mouths in one piece! Then shake the box over their mouths to get the crumbs!

  • Very Creative! And fun to make. I like the turn around on the joke of the day.

  • Max insisted on filming me this time! I think he does a better job with the jokes though!
