What a cute video! Someone brought these into my office Christmas party and I was so inspired that I decided I'd like to try and make with my niece this weekend!
@yoyomax12 They turned out great! We used cherries with stems and skipped the cookie mount, and the project couldn't have been simpler. My niece loved them too, but somehow she didn't want to let anyone EAT any of them! Ha!
you could even do this on cup cakes like for your kids to bring to school on the day before winter break for like a winter break party at school and you could use white frosting on the cupcake for snow :P and even have some little snow balls with some big white sprinkles
I'm sure there is going to be a lot of moms having fun making these with the kidz this year! I love watching your cookery vids! And the usual vlogs aswell of cource! Xxx
I was looking for a peanut butter cookie mouse that I usually make around this time of year and I ran into this recipe. Since I had so many hershey's kisses... :)
They're simply adorable little mice! Again need adapting for the UK...no Hershey's Choccie Kisses. Bet they're a hit with everyone, young or old! Jacquie (UK) x
I was thinking the exact thing about the kids at school. I think I may do that very thing, I may try to find a substitute for the almond ears though, you know...schools and nut allergies..
The only problem I see with shipping them anywhere is that the ears break off easily, you May want to try whole almonds for the ears and add a little more chocolate in the "neck" to glue them on.
Thanks for the hints Tammy! I think these boys (22 and 23) will probably just throw them in their mouths in one piece! Then shake the box over their mouths to get the crumbs!
i like the joke. =)))

I wonder if whoppers are big enough substitute for cherrys cause I hate cherrys. This is cute I wanna make!!
HippoKissez 3 years ago
You could use anything cherry sized and chocolate covered.
Whoppers would do it, chocolate covered almonds (big ones), any boxed rounded chocolate would do too.
Good luck!

Not srue if my question of shipping posted or not ..this is my first post.
FunyCam69 3 years ago
Very first post ever? Congrats :)
yoyomax12 3 years ago
Can these Christmas mice be shipped easily since I know you ship cookies. Thanks for sharing.
FunyCam69 3 years ago
I don't recommend these mice for shipping because the ears will most likely break off.
You may want to use whole almonds an a little extra chocolate to glue them on.

I wouldn't even jump on a chair if I saw that mouse in my house.
I think the chocolate covered cherry would be my favorite part of that cute cookie mouse.
Have you ever eaten chocolate covered cranberries? They are yummy also.
GreenEggsAndAnne 3 years ago
Never tried a chocolate covered cranberry, I do love cranberries AND chocolate, so why not together?

cute! wonder if you could use something else besides a cherry if you don't like them ;)
buglady58 3 years ago
You could use a large malted milk ball or a chocolate ball. They sell them foil wrapped at Christmas time. I use candy eyes instead of icing.
WeenieKay 3 years ago
Malted milk balls are an excellent idea! Thanks!
