  • And now you have Dalton. Congrats, Ontari-ari-ari-o.

  • Luckily the worst that my family had to go through from the social spending cutbacks was our loss of cable tv service. Now I can get crystal HD channels through the antenna for free, so nya! nya! XD

  • I remember thinking that nobody was going to take the rabble-rousing, mean-spirited “Common Sense Revolution” stuff seriously, and that, in the unlikely event Harris got in, he wouldn’t be stupid enough to actually implement the worst of it.

  • Ontario voted for Harris - oops.

  • "We will cut all spending by 20%, except on health care"... then he turned around and cut health care spending too.

  • Ontario's lost decade.

  • Holy crap. Did Hudak's team change a word of this guff?

  • Scumbag.

  • Those were those times when the Common Sense Revolution came - and went....

  • i hated mike harris

  • Remember all the people who died in Walkerton because of the service cutbacks and mass privatization from this illiterate corporate hack. That is all.

  • We got what we voted for - Mike Harris was no liar, unlike our current Premier.

  • @tvlondon You are very correct!! And people forget, so quickly... In the common sense revolution.. Ontario had its most prosperous times, in its history. It had to clean up the mess, previous NDP, and Fibreal governments left... I am all for another common sense revolution, because what we have now, is a boat load of lies, taxes and non-sense. I cannot live 4 more years, with the Fibreals... I really don't know how people can tolerate liars, like McGuilty and Rae!

  • "Cut spending on everything except health care." - What a load of shit. Education took a huge hit as well, with all new projects being canceled. Including those already in the starting phases.

The quota law, far as I know, is still in place 16 years later.

  • @LondonOntGuy The employment equity law (quota law) was repealed in 1996.

  • John Wayne?
