    1:Press Ctrl+alt+delete.

    2:Click the processes tab.

    3:End csrss.exe.

4:Watch the Blue Screen count to 100 and restart.

  • someone should make a video 4 retarded ppl movieguy101 really gonna enjoy it :D

  • u can press just power on your keyboard...

  • @96vyktor Nowadays keyboards don't have a power button. But I still have a keyboard that does, but I am not using it.

  • XDXDXD lol dude

  • FASTEST WAY IS TURN OFF THE AVR DIRECTLY!

  • faster way: get a shotgun... XD

  • I make funny tutorials. They are just for really simple stuff like opening the internet, saving a word document and shutting down your computer lolz! check them out there pretty funny!

  • -s = start

    -t = time

    *-a = abort

    -c = comment

  • @spardante2000 I think -s = shutdown not start, you know, as opposed to -r (restart), sorry, just had to bring it up

  • if you were a true batch programmer you would know any batch program would start with

    @cls

    :1

  • -s stands for shutdown.. you could use -r for restart.. and if u do that same thing but type "start shutdown -a" that will b an abort shutdown.. the -t is time

  • OMG VIRUS! Don't listen! My computer just shutdown!

  • Doesn't work on my vista :)

  • you fail noob

  • Or you can just simply hit the shutdown button on you computer...

and I think that if you are lazy to shut down your computer you are way lazy to even make that shortcut in the first place

  • I make better tutorials for computers, if any of you want to see them, check my channel

  • shutdown -s gives automatic 60sec!

  • @hollaink and you cancel if you type -a in run

  • c:/windows/system32/shutdown.exe -s -t 00

save the file some where than make a short cut to it so you can set / make an icon for it.

  • @deluxedookie made a linux use mistake

just chane the / to \

  • the -s means shut down (other commands are for restarting and logging out) and the -t means time

  • "Alt+F4, Right Arrow once and enter"...

  • just push the friggen power button

  • u r lazy 2 cos u know how 2 do it and i think u r very lazy

  • Comment removed

  • moomoomunk, if you'd like to stop shutting down go to start > run and type "shutdown -a" without quotes.

  • i get up and walk away too! in the morning i move the mouse and it comes on. am i doing something wrong? wtf !

  • how do you make it stop shutting down automaticcly

  • here is a shorter command line

    shutdown -s

and as soon as u open the program the pc will shutdown

  • ...or you can just hit the power button?

  • you should do "shutdown -s -t 10 -t "your PC is shutting down in 10secs, Save all Documents."

  • god ! to lazy to do all that!!

  • i just get up and walk away. it'll hibernate after a while.

  • wasste moar powah

  • or an easier way would be CTRL ALT DELETE thats what i do but yeah thanks ;)

  • You can also press ALT and F4 then U and ta da!

  • seems it doesnt work on vista

  • how use's xp anymore lol?

  • help it int workin 4 me

  • start up notepad and write

    @echo off

    shutdown -s -t 15

    and save it as shutdown.bat

  • yeah i do it old school, unplug the shit

  • I am very lazy sometimes. That's why i usually shut down my xp just by pressing the power button on the case (doesn't work for AT case - they have on/off switch)

  • -s =start whaterver was befor it

-t =time befor the started item copletes

  • There's actually an even easier way to do this...

Hit the windows key and tap "U" twice. Boom, you're done.

The windows key opens the start menu. The first "U" selects the "Turn off computer" option and the second selects the "Turn Off" selection in the screen where you have the option to either turn off, restart, or switch users......gotta love those windows keyboard shortcuts, lol.

  • ........wow. Is it really that much effort to do 3 mouse clicks? You don't even have to move the mouse that far. My wrist barely even moves.

Other than this, you could just get a keyboard that has a shutdown button. I have a logitech wireless that has an "X" on the keyboard. All I have to do is hit that "X" and press "Enter" and boom, i'm done. And it's all preprogrammed.

  • Yeah I know...

He only made this because everyone else on YouTube was doing it...

  • There are many brazilians that want to know these tricks like me, but cannot hear beccause you talk too fast, and please, talk louder or then write what you will show please. I really wanna know this trick.

  • Mano

Isso é um bat da pra entender ele falanu sim e da pra interpretar na imagem eu uso isso pra mandar pruns otario e desligar us pc deles

  • or the startup key and double tap u

  • shutdown -s -t 10

Shutdown -s (start) -t (time) and some people type in -c ( comment in "")

  • use the window key and hit "U" twice

  • hey genius, use shift+delete to save time.

  • Hey genius, that doesn't shut down your computer... dumb ass...

  • He's telling movieguy101 to use that to delete the files quicker, not shutdown.

  • Shift+Delete doesn't delete files quicker either lol.

You hold shift and select the files and then press delete...

But I understand what you're trying to say.

  • it does if u do it right

  • I suppose...

But it was only a few files anyway.

    Oh well, who cares right?

  • yup

  • Sorry but this is rather pointless, a quicker way would be to just press your power button once, and that would do the same as start menu

  • oh..oh..oh..so simple, everybody knows that :D

  • what was the name of the folder?

  • hfyrfytu

  • Lame.

    I have two better ways.

    Alt + F4

Or, joink out the cord of a desktop computer.

    Simple!

Might be troublesome on a laptop though.

  • I'm scared.

  • jajaaja

  • scared of ...?

  • s stands for shutdown

    t stands for time

    r stands for restart

    l stands for log off

    a stands for abort

  • omfg u some of you guys are so fucking lazy

  • lol, don't be scared when command prompt comes up

  • what a fucking loser video!

  • Can i create a shortcut to make this guy stop making useless videos?

  • Yeap just go Control Alt Fuckoff

  • lol

  • hahaha!

  • mine doesnt work ???? i think i did it wrong the name of the file is doesthiswork.bat is that right

  • hey, it didn't work=[

there wasn't a little message after i named the thingy. the icon is still the same.

  • man show how it works doubleclick and then when you want to stop it go to start then run and write shutdown -a and the program will stop!!!

  • is there a difference if you wride minus or dash???

  • -s stands for system, so you're shutting dow the system. -t stands for time. -c stands fo comment. nice vid anyway, although i knew this like 3 years ago, i wuz bored so i watched it. but hey nicely done.

  • -s means shutdown so you can put -r for restart. if u dont have s or r then u wont shutdown properly

  • And you can put "shutdown -a" if you change your mind and can't wait for it to restart. -a means "abort shutdown". This also works with the "Blaster Worm" shutdown.

  • Well aren't you special, I think it was for the benefit of other people.

  • well u clicked it why would u wanna abort? and most ppl leave -t 1 so it shuts down immediatly

  • the fastest way is to juz off the switch

  • haha thats what i do lol i like how u think

  • nice

  • i don't see how u have named the notepad,i am not english

  • NameOfFile.bat

    or

    ****.bat

    or whatever.

  • this doesnt work for vista? i tried and nothing happens, jstu the edit screen comes back up

  • rsmasta... why the hell do u use vista anyways?? XP is better.. i use a mac though. i used to use dell though

  • lol

  • well then you have to get out or your chair, get on your knees, find the cord, pull the cord, get up(dont hit your head on the desk) and the finally walk away oh wait the next time you want to use your computer youll have to plug it back it (see steps above) so this way

  • Forgot about that. My computers dont freeze so its a scenario im not used to

  • Yeah, but at some point the hard drive will fail and become corrupted. Then you lose Windows installation, documents, EVERYTHING

  • i did this once u can also right click and choose the properties anmd choose the shutdown icon

  • omg....i LOVE shutdown on a LAN lmao.

Shutdown -m\\ "IP or Com. Name" -s -t 5 -c "ZOMG YOU HAVE A VIRUS!"

so much fun to do to people during school

  • how do you call the file?

  • -s stands for shutdown

    -t stands for time

    -r stand for reboot

  • and -l stand for logout or logoff

i forgot to say great video.

  • ok is it bat or bap?

  • .bat

  • GUYS PLEASE tell me how to do standby code

  • shutdown -s (shutdown)

    shutdown -l (logoff)

    shutdown -r (restart)

    -t 03 (3 secs, a dialog with the time appears, 00= instant)

-m //comp001 (shutdowns comp001 in lan ^^, had fun with that in school 3 yrs ago xD, shut down all comp-rooms in the whole school with that shit...)

    HF PRTY_PPL!!! XP

  • sounds fun i wanna try it!

  • to logoff u put -l instead of -s..... -t is NOT nessecary, and don't use it for the logoff thing!

  • how to log off?

  • i have one now thanks to you!!! :)

  • jus press "win key" "U" "U"

  • an even easier way is to just set your computer to turn off when you press the power button

  • lol

  • after 10 thousand it goes to 100 thousand, not 1 million, lol, the command for your computer to shutdown is basically the same, but in notepad yo but

shutdown -f (that will close down all appications and retart app)

  • only need -s, no -t

  • hi rstaekwando..i am sorry for disturbing but i don't seem to get it??i can't shut down using this method..any solution man?thanks

  • right but to do it instant i add -t 00 ^^ works perfect

  • and you can also do new shortcut and put

    shutdown -s -t (amouth of time) -c e.g this is a virus

and this is a easy shutdown and you can change icon

  • -s = shutdown

    -t = time

so what its saying to the computer is

shutdown shutdown time (how much time) and if you use -c its comment so you can right a message in there

  • This is sooooo necesery...

  • u can type "-c" ( then you message ) :D Open cmd then type "help"... read and have fun! ;D

  • "it doesnt mean your computer is gonna die" LOL!!! awesome vid btw i got one of those on my desktop now, thanks for saving me the extra 3 seconds of shuttin my comp off ;D

  • you can make fun things with .bat go to start>run then type notepad and type ":start" then go down a line, type "start cmd" then go down a line, type "start mspaint" and then go one more line and type "goto start" . By the way dont type any " marks. now go to Save. in name put "what ever youwant".bat and for file type put othernow save wherever its easiest and press it. pretty fun

  • It works on my stationary pc, but not on my laptop. but the thing it does on my stationary pc, ok i push the button, and it shut down partly, and when i thought ahh nice it works this massage comes " you can now turn of your computer". i hitt the power button but nothing happens. :( any solution?

  • couldent i also put restart instead of shut down?

  • In the time you took to make this video you could have shut dowm your PC thousands of times.

  • yo nice video but it doesnt work for me like wen i do all that stuff i double click and it goes to wordpad wat do i do?

  • type shutdown -s -t0 and then save it to your desktop and make sure at the end of the file name it has the .bat extension then open it... if u have trouble making it into a .bat file extension watch my other videos on .bat help

    GOOD LUCK!

  • ok, so you cant actually Edit comments here, lol, anyway the Details i mentioned below, also do not seem to work when running a .bat file, however, you can created a 'shortcut' that does the same thing

Right click on your desktop > select New > select Shortcut : in the dialog box type

    Shutdown -s -t

as you did before, then click next, name your Shortcut, then click Finish. Double click that icon for the desired effect.

And for god sake YouTube, add an Edit button xD

  • ok you forgot one thing, the time u wanty it to take until its shuts down...

so the correct command is shutdown -s -t0

  • you may also have to change the ' - 's to ' / 's to get this to work (ie shutdown /s /t 10)

  • go into command prompt and type "shutdown help" (eithout the "'s) for the full options of the shutdown command, all of which can then be added to a .bat file.

for Hibernate, you would have 'shutdown -h -t' which would tell the system to Hibernate after X amount of seconds (i believe this to depend on what selection your power management setting for ''sleep state'' is set to, whether it would Hibernate, or simply goto Sleep)

  • you may also have to possibly change the ' - 's to ' / 's to get this trick to work

  • dont work

  • How can I make it hibernate or standby?

  • I'm too lazy to do this work to have shortcut ))))

I have a better way - set my power button to Shutdown or Hibernate...

  • doesnt work

  • Just hit the On/Off button on your pc case - if you have a modern motherboard, that will make Windows initiate the shutdown procedure.

  • it does not work

  • very good im gonna use that all the time i shut down lol i just hope it cant harm your computer in any way

  • dont worry it wont.

  • ZZzzz lazzZZZZZY to write ..ZZzzzzz

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmm
