  • Where in tampa was this?

  • What's the song that starts after Pantera's "Ill cast a shadow"?

  • What's the point of lifting that much weight?

  • @dsmax I'm going to go on a wild guess here and say - to get stronger?

  • @ChocolatePoop1301 No one needs to lift that much weight to become stronger. What's the point of it? When in gods name will you need to lift that much weight? Is it something that makes you feel better about yourself? This just in muscles don't make you a good fighter.

  • @dsmax Fool, why are you on a lifting video if you dislike strength? Are you such a troll? Few things of the human experience revolve around NEED. There is no need for strength, but it's a WANT. What's the point? Functionality and self-actualization. Good fighter? How often do you fight people? You can ask the same weak questions to any athletic video.

  • what is the song that starts at 0:20 ????

  • @crotchrockett004 Pantera "ill cast a shadow"

  • @THEGATHERING20 oh my god thank you sooooo much no one would tell me... lol

  • @crotchrockett004 No problem mate, Pantera are an amazing band, recommend their albums "vulgar display of power" and "cowboys from hell" best albums to start with! sick band, groove metal is great for training!

  • anyone know the song at 3:28?

  • Why the t-shirts under the bench shirts?

  • @zerk54 do bench shirts reduce the workout??? like if you were to use one doin sets of 6-8 reps would it ruduce the workout on your chest???

  • what are the songs or the band ??? :)

    beastly lifting guys!!

  • why do they all look at the bar when its close to hitting the chest? they raise their head off the bench to look at it... WHY?

  • @BigCarpFoxRiver keeps them from lifting with their neck and head and hurting their necks.

  • that guy is a freak...

  • damn... thats probably over 500 if u add up all the chains and bands... impressive speed

  • powelifting is an excuse to bodybuild and eat a shitload of mcdonalds....

  • @hellasking69 Yep and I love it

  • @hellasking69 not true. I do powerlifting, and I have allways been careful about what I eat, making sure it's not too much. After all, you have an advantage if you're competing in a lower weight class while you keep getting stronger :)

  • y esas pintas pa que?

  • Amazing workout with the chains guys!!! Whats the 1st track as the video starts does anybody know????Sounded mint!!! Wish The gyms in the UK could do videos like that.

  • ya i know alot of guys that do that.

  • well you can be a bodybuilder and still do some powerlifting in ure training

  • power lifting is fun but bodybuilding is better in my view.... just my two cents

  • a bodybuilder will never be as strong as a powerlifter, a powerlifter is just to look nice and get some good views, but a powerlifter would give a bigger pack to the punch then a bodybuilder anytime.

  • @nathanbeechey05 You can't compare the two. They are both driven toward different goals, with different mentalities. Why even say that?

  • damn this music rules!!!!! keep rockin!!!

  • whats the chains for & strap's

  • wrong, the chains are for: the more higher the weight more hevier because you lift more chain.

  • When you lower the bar, the more and more of the chain is hitting the floor, thus making it easier at the lower part of the lift but much harder at the top, thus training your lockout more.

Same goes for the "straps" (bands really). The lower the bar goes the more loose the bands get, thus making it harder towards lockout and easier at the bottom of the lift.

  • thats cool dude, i never knew why they used em until now

  • @mrvetle bands are diffrent. they offer a resistance only bands can called linier variable resistance

  • Damn, I wish i lived ANYWHERE near a real gym, i'd love to try those chains!!! Stupid YMCA

  • we have 'em at my gym, they are pretty sick

  • ace!

whats that song at the very beginning of the video! sounds ace!

  • Great lifts keep it up.

  • i love powerlifting theres no better sport. besides pingpong lol

  • its funny these guys thinking they are so strong, but they would lose to a 150 pound chimp.

  • sounds like ur one of those guys that ended up with bitch tits rather then muscle when u took steriods..

  • i don't take steroids limp dick but it sounds like you are speaking from experience.

  • nah i dont have bitch tits like you... as far as my "limp dick" go talk to your mother about that, she will let you know how hard it really is...

  • dude what are you talking about... you are 100% homo, go play bitch tits with your boyfriend.

  • no i told you go ask your mom she will tell u im not gay.... but if u think im gay, come over here drop ur pants and bend over and you will be the first one to know if im gay or not...

  • only a homo would make a proposition like that. FREAK.

  • dfcvda yes its for two things safty and its to help your sholders and elbows not well explode and it helps form so you can lift more

  • what is with the strange shirts? do they aid lifting if so whats the point?

or are they for safety reasons?

im not knocking it i love powerlifting but have been out of it for along time and we didnt have those shirts then (Kazmaier days)

    peace.

  • the liitle dudes are stronger, cool !!

  • great 2 see men lifting serious weights, top of the morinng 2 u lads, keep it up!!!!

  • how many times shud u bench press a week

  • @ Blackjesus3, you should hit bench every 4-5 days, including all upper body work...alternate from flat bench to incline from dumbells to barbells, day 1-bench day 2-off day 3-squat day 4-off day 5-incline day 6-off day 7-deadlift day 8-off day 9-bench repeat
  • thxx man

  • @ Blackjesus3

if you're training really hard on the bench, using different techniques like negative and iso metric, than you'll need another day off or 2,

    day 1-bench

    day 2-off

    day3-squat

    day 4-off

    day 5-off

reapeat, substituting deadlift for squats on the next run...

  • thxx yo

  • It has chains so the higher you lift the bar the more chains you lift off the floor thus making the bar heavier at the last part of the press where you are strongest.

  • why does it have chains?

  • RAINING BLOOD! :D

  • The old dungeon hard core lifting gym, thats what I'm talking about. No fassion shows going on here baby!

  • the point off it is powerlifting is better

  • wish there was a facility around here like that. Would love to power train for a year and build up my strength

  • ur a doosh bag...powerlifting is how men lift.

  • Thank you for the video. You guys are animals.

  • Those guys lok like serious bench pressers. Does anyone has an idea of good periodization?

  • u know that lift at the very end where they were only lifting a feww inches, at the end from 5:30 onwasrds, was that to train the phase were oyu have to rack off the bar???

  • that lift at the end hits the triceps big time. bench needs strong tris

  • oh k so it trains your lockout

  • would fucking love to lift with you guys, i am nowhere near your strength but my life is dedicated to powerlifting and i am dying to learn from experienced lifters, my girlfriend lives in clearwater and is going to go to usf and im thinking of coming there after graduation to work on my masters, if so i would love to lift with you guys, great work keep it up!

  • This is art, i miss lifting with chains and thick bands...i train in ballys now and i dont think they allow that stuff in there...but good video

  • Do those elbow wraps help with elbow pain? I know it sounds like a dumb question but my left elbow has been killing me near lockout

  • re:Iceman1800

you need to bring your elbows in more on towards your ribs, not out in line with the bar...

  • BRUTES, BRUTE F^CKIN STRENGTH!

  • 只有这样才能使卧推重量明显提高

  • That's how you do it. at the end of your rep it seems easier but not with those chains they have weight attached to them.

Those small bench presses look effective hopefully they'll increase my bench. gotta get my chop's up so I can hang with

    the big dog's

  • Mike Schwanke is a beast

  • I love it, awesome video. The lifting's awesome, and the intensity is killer. We do some of the same type of training for bench, but we long to duplicate the way you guys do it. Fuckin awesome, keep up the good work!

  • Is the large plate a 100 lb plate or a large 45 lb plate?

  • 100

  • claret blorin

  • they are all drills to help lift more dumbass hopkip

  • damn that baddass

  • in the last half u guys arent even doing full/correct presses...wtf

  • they're deliberately training that way to strengthen that particular range of the movement. this isn't bodybuilding, stranger.

    TAMPA MUTHERFUKKKIN FLORIDA!!! SUICIDE SACRIFICE!!!

  • see those chains? highter u lift em more weight they add on, see that spanedexlooking thingy? same concept...power lifting has horrible form and they neglet the negative phase of the rep...thats why its power lifting

  • powerlifting is perfect form...

  • powerlifting form is right for power you use every bit your back tris shoulders etc etc . bbing is more strict but its all good alot of powerlifters have gone to the bbing coleman , yates etc etc .both have great atheletes just different paths takin

  • the chains are on the ground and so they get heaver as the bar is lifted because more of the chain is off the ground. the belts are there for the same reason.

  • wats the chains for? and the are the belts for resistance?

someone please explain it to me =[

  • Man that looks like some hellish hardcore shit. Fucking cool!

  • this is ELITE bench training. this has helped my bench performance immensely. arch back, elbows in, belly up, touch, FIRE! don't forget to use your legs. that's Powerlifting mutherfuckers. and it's the safest way, truthfuly.

  • it looks like they are in hell lol

  • Thats impressive

and to those who are calling it gay are faggits

they cannot pro even bench over 225

  • But they ARE gay, nothing wrong with that. They listen to angry music and lift chains. Then they go shower together, thats nice.

  • Whats up bitch you got something to say about powerlifters. I see ya like acting tough behind that monitor when no ones around. why don't you try going to a gym and try saying that to somones face! FUCKING PUSS!!!

  • yet you're trying to act tough it makes you sound like a retard..

  • HAHAHA It looks like some kinda torture device. Awesome!

  • thats like 400 500 hundred pounds the have those chains at my schhool gym an there heavy as fuck

  • They need to put some real music on, not that death metal crud, and do away with the chains and wrist and elbow wraps. Try 275 with a pause, and no wraps.

  • they're in TAMPA FLORIDA, DEATH METAL CAPITAL MUTHERFUKKKER!!! 275 with a pause and no wraps? YOU'RE A PUSSY!!!

  • stick to spin class whatever your name is.

  • llllloooollll, good one!

  • looks weak

  • Why they all funking doing 1/2 Bench Rep ..

try to do it in your neck and stay 1 or 2sec

and after that post a vid ..

  • Funking?

  • Neck? Are you stupid?

  • dude that shit is nuTHIN!!!

  • Love the workout vid.

  • The chains and bands are so the weight gets exponentially heavier the farther they lift it up

  • How much are they lifting? It looks like only 110KG's! What's with the chains and straps?

  • fuck all haterssss!!!!bodybuilding,powerliftg

i do both and love it.SHUT THE FUCK UP AND

    LIFT SOME HEAVY ASS WEIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And once your muscle cells have reached a certain number of mitochondria (power-houses), then they'll be able to supply themselves with enough energy to allow muscular hypertrophy (size-gain). Power-lifting and strength training significantly increases one's mitochondrion levels in their muscles.

  • My suggestion to Mudbutt89 is that he actually trains for strength -first-. That means do power sets like these guys are. Heavy, heavy weight that you can perform sets of 3 or 5 repetitions. And then when you get to a certain point that you're confident in, start using light weight that you can perform sets of anywhere between 8-15 repetitions. That way, you'll be big and strong. Not just big, because bodybuilding is more muscular (size) than muscular strength.

  • Sorry but Asszilla powertronn is a jealous tard.

  • by asszilla u must mean sean "skunkboy" katterle the pariah, the bag o wind. every body knows he's a trollin.

  • Yea, skunkboy, asszilla = Sean Katterle. Katterle trolls all over these vids trying to knock real powerlifters.

  • By "asszilla" you mean SEAN KATTERLE. The queer trolls on YouTube under "blindjustice2007", "extendostick", "mastermaybe" to talk shit about lifters to promote his raw shit. He's all over Chad Aichs's, Gene Rychlak's, and everybody else's balls.

  • Really creative workout guys. Power and strength!

  • For safety?? do bench shirts not take some of the weight off the lifter?? why do you call it trash talking, cause I have an opinion you dont agree with?? By placing this vid online that leaves it open for debate and opinions from all ppl, and if I have an opinion I'll voice it, the same as what you're doing right? my opinion is shirts are an aid to lifting, they take some of the pressure off the lifter. You'l find this opinion is shared by a LOT of ppl, not trash but common sense.

  • Ur sorta right sorta not. They add weight to the bench press but they do not take pressure off the lifter. It hurts like hell brining the bar down to ur chest.

  • Nice lifts but .. Bench shirts can help lift an incredible amount of weight off you. I see shirts as cheating, cause if something other than the lifter lifts the weight then it's not right. If the shirt only lifs 1lb off you, thats 1lb you would'nt have had if not for the shirt. Therefore shirts ARE cheating. Don't understand what the chains and straps are for yet, if it's for more weight, just add a few more plates.

  • The weights and straps adjust the amount of weight through the range of the rep. Shirts arent used for more weight they are used for safety. Be careful your comment almsot sounds like trash talking.

  • powertronn you're a jealous dipshit.

  • Hey liespeeker go read another Arnold bodybuilding book. This is powerlifting. They're two different sports.

  • Mudbutt89 choose weights that you are close to "positive failure" with at the number of repetitions you want to do. Whatever the weight is that's heavy for you. Everyone is different and has different strength levels to start with.

  • Heavy weights and low reps in basic power lifting movements. Do your bb after. Your power will go way up and you can keep same bw.

  • This is a good demonstration of heavy power lifting workouts.

  • Bodybuilding is about the look of the physique.

Powerlifting is about brute strength and power.

Weightlifting is about strength and momentum.

In the US, powerlifting has far, far more participants than weightlifting.

  • These are some really interesting techniques they're using.

  • bodybuilding is about building and shaping the body (think Arnold)and steroids

powerlifting is about the three main lifts-Squat, BenchPress and Deadlift and doing huge amounts of weight (with no regard to form)

Weightlifting is about olympic lifting and is the more sporty of the three. the two lifts are the snatch and the clean and jerk/.

  • Why not just use more weight

  • because the bands and chains put more resistance on certain parts of the range of movement to strengthen those areas. the bands resist harder near the top. the chains extend to the floor. as the bar goes up more chain is pulled in the air making it heavier near the top.

  • Yes - both chains and bands add more weight to the top of the movement... Bands also provide a different kind of resistance (they don't pick up momentum like standard weights) - try them and you will see.

  • how much are they benching?

  • you guys are insane. i mean that in a good way. :)

  • The Drunk Bench Presser on

    youtube /watch?v=Pvxt4UaaoCw

at the Gym party. B&B doping (barbecue & beer).

  • Strong benchers!

  • what is wrong with all u people what the hell are u talking about.

  • Good workout

  • What's with the ripped shirts and stuff? Whats wrong with a normal T-Shirt?

  • if anyone can tell me how a bench shirt helps message me

  • They keep your shoulders in line. Also gives you a slight upward advantage at the bottom of your lift... but it makes it harder to touch your chest.

  • This is very impressive hard power lifting training.

  • use your spotters to rep it more

  • jealous ipf lifters hiding behind the screen writing shit..

  • if my spotters didn't grap it faster i'd slap em. get a pump and forget about it

  • yummy

  • lol.probably 110kg.and they are thinking "I am so strong" rofl.let me say it.they are not strong at all.look at them.a gang of piece of shit.

  • Hva faen bableru om

  • hold kjeft a din jævla ape!jeg knuser testiklene på sånne som deg.din jævla kødd.hold kjeft og slutt og skriv til meg!du er bare et jævla null.

  • The bands put a fuck load of extra resistance, the chains weigh ten kg a piece, maybe more, and it's at least 120 without the bands and chains. they are perfect explosive power, lets see you bench that with those bands and chains ;)

  • I am strong enough :)

  • What's with all the rubber band thingys and chains. You guys into bondage and discipline? Does it make you horny? I bet this is some kind of a sex cult.

  • the bands and chains are used for resistance making the push at the bottom harder because thats what makes explosive power

  • actually it makes the lock out harder

  • Powerlifters are too muscled and horny. You should be taking aerobic dance lessons.

  • thats not bad, good start, i would train without a bench shirt it makes the weight about 30-45 pnds lighter

  • nice pantera going on!!!

  • this is serious bench press training. very motivational too.

  • Beyondward are you one of these muscled horny people. Do you listen to the same music when making love?

  • xtcrun obviously you get turned on by this video since you watch it and comment on it so intensly.

  • Well I could get used to the music I guess. Powerlifters are so different. I'm curious why they're so overly muscled and horny, that's all.

  • Hmmm...that actually make sence, i am horny so you are probably right after all. My bad.

  • Good Job guy!

  • dont do steroids bitshes

  • Great work!

  • omfg those dudes are strong - that dude was benching like 260kg ?!?!?!?

    steroids?

  • you don't know shit about strength and power mehowdy

  • I love you guys' technique! I'm trying to use it!

  • What is the point in the boards? I'm sorry but I don't get that.
