A most enjoyable concert! I had never heard the Sarjeant before--the composer isn't well documented online, but it's an especially inspiring piece that left a very favorable impression. The Lehar was bewitchingly lovely, and also a new discovery for me. The Bridge is a riot and caught me pleasantly by surprise with those quotations of Mendelssohn.
