  • nice

  • it probably was too slow and had no accuracy but that was an awesome knuckle

  • nice sweater vest

  • that was a little too slow-mo. lol

  • fucking japs! they know how to do everything!!!

  • now thats a knuckler

  • too slow

  • well. at least we know he pitches better than he drives.

  • @CatchFastEddie The ones that tumble toward you or have a slight spin left/right are hard to hit becuz they move. That one would get crushed becuz it has no movement. It's is pretty good for a kid though

  • VERY impressive!! Though, I am kind of confused as to why you are standing in the batters box..

     :31

  • the harder you throw the knuckle ball the more unpredictable it is there for making in more deadly

  • dang that jap can pitch pretty good

  • @CamelJockey180 your so garbage im 16 and i can crack it in a t 85 with movement so suck the wood

  • @Thefabulousone1thats a age difference from i geus about 4 years ? you know hom much youre body grows i around that age ?

  • Im in 8th grade and my knucle ball is very affective because just as it is goin to the plate. Also im crackin 70 mph for a fastball because i use my whol body.

  • yo im 16 in crack it in at 85 wit movement so dont feel nice ur garbage

  • it doesnt matter how hard you can throw but it really matters where you can throw it

  • ur horrible im 16 i pop it in a t 85 with movement ur garbage

  • @Thefabulousone1 that's not a knuckleball if you throw it 85. Btw... i would like to see you throw it 85. Clock it at carnivals, much?

  • He has a second video from the catchers point of view and it does have some movement on it

  • is it just me or is there very few scapular loading?

  • Bring it down a bit son.

  • Way to mix 'em up.

  • a good knuckleball is one that when thrown at someone who has never seen one before, stuns or scares the shit out of them.

  • pretty good but it didnt have any movement

  • wow, thats really amazing. i have tried so hard to throw a good knuckleball for so long because if you can throw a great one no matter what you can make it far. i've never been able to come close to that. great job. such a hard pitch,

  • what a brutal knuckler, that things going 400 feet back in your direction son

  • kid get a alot more control and youll theyll calll you wakefield

  • thats beastly!!!!!! lol

  • What makes a knuckleball nasty is it's erratic late movement which happens as the hitter commits to swinging. They might get a piece of the ball but it will be for a flyball or groundout. A good knuckleball can change directions more than once.

  • my gorsh a knuckleball shouldnt spin

  • i really good knuckle ball will make 1/4 of a revolution by the time it gets to the plate.

  • Hence why it didn't.

  • Try getting your elbow above your shoulder. :)

  • this is ridiculous

  • take your base!

  • Ball!!

  • lol!!!

  • absolutely not a strike.......

  • NIICE

  • A knuckleball that does not have ANY rotation usually doesn't do any dancing since it has the same seam orientation to the windstream throughout its flight. If you have ever seen slow motion video of Tim Wakefield's knuckleball (which is fantastic!), you will notice that the ball rotates about 1/2 - one revolution on its way to the plate, thus causing different seam orientation - which causes movement.

  • Non-spinning knuckleballs still dance and wiggle. And plenty of Wakefield's knuckleballs are non-spinning ones.

  • i dont get it

  • nice sweatervest.

  • the ball didn't even break or have movement(the ball like a tail) its terrible!

  • its not supposed to ahve break dumbass.t he whole princip;e of a knuckle ball is no spin whatso ever. it tumbles and kind of shakes in the air....

  • Hey dumbass they are supposed to break and movement doesnt mean spin so next time you talk try to make sense k thanks.

  • wiz you dont know what your talking about your the dumbass a knuckleball breaks a bunch look up someone else throwing a knuckleball and well see who the dumbass is

  • if it was perfectly round and didnt have seams, then it would not break.

  • what about a ping pong ball eh?

  • a ping pong ball is hollow. and you cant throw a knuckleball with a pingpong ball anyways

  • A perfectly round ball with no seams would not exhibit movement provided it is not spinning. As has been mentioned, a ping pong ball is perfectly smooth, but if you impart spin on it, it will break like the dickens!

  • It doesn't break much unless thrown at a pretty long distance.

  • really good pitchers can get it to break though. like Tim Wakefield

  • Yeah, anyways its pretty good really, its tough to get it to buckle.

  • all you guys can hate on it all you want but he's like what... 10 years old? the kid has zero rotation on the damn ball which is way better than than most guys can do.

  • ideally the ball should rotate 1/2 - 1 time from the time it leaves the hand to the time it reaches the plate...This changes where the rough parts on the ball are (the seams mostly) and changes how the pressure and wind acts upon the ball which increases the unpredictability which makes the knuckleball so hard to track for the hitter.

  • I think that it's a good pitch but the weight is not in the posterior leg.

Devi rimanere con il peso dietro. Se cadi in avanti la palla non viaggia e l'effetto della Knowk è pressochè nullo.

  • actually thats an ideal knuckleball...

he just cant throw it hard enough

  • wow he's terrible

the ball doesn't break and ends up like 30 feet off the ground

  • goofy lookin kid

  • lol jk copyed

  • ナックルボールのスロー映像その1です。

    PCに取り込めなかったのでTVで再生したものをデジカメで動画撮影しています。

  • release is real high. hand is maybe too small. very nice knuckle ball though. it is very possible to throw a knuckle while leaning into it. its getting over the fear of losing your accuracy. takes years!

  • dude yea its like 40mph and the kid is like 8 years old.. you guys are fucking idiots.

  • no this guy is probobly between like 16 and 20, he has other videos in which you can tell his age better

  • his page says he is 31

  • Actually, you want knuckleball to have *some* rotation, that way you get different seam orientation in the wind stream, causing erratic and unpredictable movement. No spin, causes the pitch to simply float in without movement. That's called batting practice.

  • i know, like i said i throw it. no isnt necesarily ment to be takes litarily, it did have some

  • Basically like a batting practice fastball but MUCH easier to hit.

  • so mine says im 26 n im 18

  • HOLLYSHIT....nice knuckleball man....and to all the other people who dont no baseball....a knuckle ball isnt supposed to spin...its not supposed to go 90 miles an hour.....and its not breaking cuz ur only seeinfg the first 5 feet of it

  • I throw a knuckleball, hitting the strike zone isnt nearly as hard as keeping the spin off of the ball. The camera is off-center and only like 15 feet from him, so it could have been a strike.

  • It wans't a good pitch, thats not the point. It had no spin, but he probobly only threw it about 40 mph.

  • its a knuckle ball it isnt suppose to spin and because it wasnt spiiing it would have dropped..... RETARD

  • A fastball at 90 MPH isn't gonna break 3 feet either...

  • i can throw it with no spin but it doesn't move.

  • fatty

  • yeaa your right

  • I can throw a foam ball knuckler too. Nothing special here.

  • that is a whicked knuckle but i have on question i have one exactly like that but mine doesnt move and it has no spin..... is it good to have a little spin or none??

  • shit had NO spinn.....niceee

  • thats because its indoors.

  • SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! Good Job.

  • wow that was better then tim wakefeild

  • yah but it wasnt in the strike zone lol.

  • It didn't move because the camera is too close to the pitcher. The movement should happen closer to the plate, not 15' from the pitcher. Also I think he's throwing it high for the benefit of the camera. You dont need to throw every knuckler for a strike, it just has to look close enough to be tempting.

  • You kids, stop playing ball in front of the windows!

  • damn not a single spin

  • That is kick ass. Thanks for posting.

  • nice slow motion

  • Nice camera work showing the delivery of the knuckleball
