@Cavething2 When you don't have enough pylons, supply depots, or overlords. Each of these units/buildings gives you a certain amount of supply points which are taken up by units. Once you reach the limit you can't build anything and are supply blocked. Hope this answers your question, if not then others can learn from it.

@thef00ddude Build a cybernetics core and some gateways. Then make the gateways into WARP GATES, which allow you to warp in units to ANY pylon on the map. Make stalkers and zealots for early game, then put some sentries into the mix for middle-game, then make some colossus for late game, make some dark templar for harrassment and last resort defence. Make high templar for psi storm, which is powerful as shit :D

Best way for zerg to keep base clean and have your overlords safe is to place creep tumors around the base as i do and noone can get past mt watchfull eye! I CAN SE ALL and btw creep tumors is invisible whitout detectors

I seen a couple of your videos. If you can try to do control + # right off the start. I always hotkey my town then a builder so on the number pad you press 1 or 2 to get to them. That way you can multitask :) so for example, you want to go scout /harrass with your drone but still keep pumping out drones. you press 2 for your scout and start looking around, press 1 to go back to your town and just hit whatever key is to produce drones. If you just master 1 or 2 hotkeys it can save time.

Love this, but actually there's a reason why he doesn't use his extractor (@4:45). A lot of builds actually have a fast 100 gas for zergling speed upgrade (which he does get) and then they remove either 3 or 2 drones to get more minerals for either a quick expansion or something like that. Unfortunately he doesn't really do anything with those minerals, like you pointed out. :)

I know this is older game already, but the reasoning behind the Zerg not having Drones on the gas is that he already got enough gas for Speed-lings and I assume he wanted more mineral advantage (for expanding for example), but he didn't expand at the end so... also for the proxy pylon to help you out you really need to research that warpgate tec ;P, also your double gateway would have been better if you had placed the pylon behind the two gates (block the ramp with the gates + zealot)

@Sneezlebob They increase Zergs supply count (food), so they have to build them just like Terran needs Supply depots and Protoss needs Pylons. Also in 4 player maps it's best to scout with Drones since Overlords are so so slow without the speed upgrade and even if you get it into enemies base it will most likely die to some sort of ranged unit and you lose 100 minerals AND supply. Also just to note in late games Overlords are great for pooping creep between bases and towards front lines.

@TheDavidZhouShow I wouldn't put it that way, APM doesn't really mean a thing, if you know what you are doing and remember your build order you don't need so high APM, sure it helps if you are attacking and keeping up your macro, but the main reason Zerg is "hard" to play is that Zerg is more of a reactionary race, you have to scout early and often to see what your enemy is producing and what you can do to counter them, for T and P you obviously have to do the same thing, but even more so with Z

I preferred the Terran videos :( So many people on YouTube use Protoss and I simply have no interest in them at all. Of course, I realise you are trying to appeal to everyone by using each of the races.

Just wish there was a commentator like Husky, HDStarcraft or yourself that focused more on the Terrans :D On the other hand though, I get to learn some of the strats that my enemies could use against me, and I learn all the counters for that :)

ok now that crap is out of the way time to list a possible improvement there. it takes a bit more time, about 80 seconds with a chrono boost but if you research warp gates then you could have used that pylon in his base to quicken your assault, and probably not even have to deal with the zerglings. though like i said, i suck at rushing..
