It worked for me using Firefox but you have to know which part of the string to highlight and copy. I used the part after it said url: and ending with docid=1234456879. This is before the description, which in the case of one Google video was docid:1234456879.. etc. Keep experimenting in the address bar until you get a prompt to save file. Also, if you're using Notepad untick Word Wrap to copy whole string.

Mine seem more appealing to me (creator's privelage) and also I show the method to rip the vids on GoogleVideo that don't have the "manual download" link. And I don't use attention whores :]

Just download the .gvi file and rename it .avi. Then convert it using a program like Super or something. Pretty simple.

Sometimes you may find you need to close the window, tab, etc that has the video player in it for the video as it is also tring to download the video and its not going to let you download the video twice while the other one is still downloading.

I should have added this information although i didnt at the time. It will only start the download once the player has finished downloading or once the window the player is in is closed, etc.

I think this is the case although i have not checked it properly.

Use VLC player, or convert to a playable format for media player, etc.

Google for a converter.

You may also need some codecs, download the K-lite codec package. If it still will not play you need the codec for it, K-lite doesnt have them all but has common ones.

Get VLC player, The other problem may be that you are missing the codecs to watch the video download the K-lite codec pack, this will not have all the codecs but most commonly used ones.

But get VLC player, and that should be able to play it.

If you convert it then you might need some codecs, get the K-Lite codec pack. If you still cant play it find out the codecs for it and get them.

no need. when you want to download it, in the dropdown box where it says 'Windows/Mac' change it to video iPod. Then click download, and download it. It will download as an .mp4

It added a space in the link that needs to be removed.

Space is between the 2 and the 7.

Tiny url link is also in the description of the video, that link should work fine.
