ive gotten ALL 1/128 EQUIPS except this 1. i did it all yesterday. thx for this stradegy though. i say getting the magic frying pan was the hardest cuz the chomposaur cant be 1 hit ko'ed on the field
The Bionic Kraken can't be paired with other enemies, right?... does that mean approaching a single enemy will raise the chance of it being a Bionic Kraken?
Right, the Bionic Kraken is ALWAYS alone, no matter what. Therefore, you can avoid all multiple-enemy battles. I guess it's possible for there to be, say, a Bionic Kraken and a Final Starman (separate, but in the same area), and they would end up being skipped, but you're still saving a ton of time this way.
You need to get a Broken Antenna from an Uncontrollable Sphere, which can be found in the Lumine Hall caves. It's a 1/128 drop item. Once you have it, stay somewhere overnight so Jeff can fix it; he needs at least 65 IQ.
And the guide is wrong. Kraken's do not carry it. Plus it's "Sea of Eden," please use correct spelling (not to be a complete ass). The Bionic Kraken has it. Don't completely rely on the guide.
@IamCanadian3333 i dont know why you guys say you can only get it from bionic kraken... like others have said you can get it when you travel by sea from summers to scaraba... i got it the very first time i did that part of the game... that was the only time i ever got it there but i did get it there lol
@pushfrog18 really? Crap, I must have played through the game hundreds of times, and not once have I gotten one form a regular Kraken (yes I know a 1/128 chance isn't much, but still, with the amount of playthroughs of the game I did... ya XD).
@guillaumebert123 I know this is a really old post but if people are going to like it then I would like to respond to it. The Official Players guide for Earthbound has a typo. The Kraken does NOT have the Gutsy bat, only the Bionic Kraken does. Go ahead and play and grind in the Sea of Eden for a Gutsy bat. Post a video of you finding one...I won't hold my breath though.

IN the official player's guide it says that the Kraken in the see of Iden get it not the bionic kraken.
