John McCain has a long record of fighting for a strong national defense and against wasteful domestic spending. He was one of the few republicans who voted against the $500 billion medicare bill and he led the fight against the Obama stimulus.

We can thank McCain for the 9/11 commission, the department of homeland security, the surge in Iraq, our normalized relations with Vietnam, increased airport security, and for exposing Jack Abramoff.
