OMG!!! This is what I've been saying about Virtue and Moir for so long now! Especially after seeing their long program from worlds and the olympics. Too many coincedences..... Zueva as their coach (she was G&G's choreographer), the music they skated to was the same piece of music Katia skated to in her dedication to Sergei, and their ending pose was the pose that G&G were suppose to do in their new routine before Sergei died.
@italianjen29 No, I noticed that part of the music is the same (the first part of VM flamenco with guitars is in the GG sp). I think that Zueva loves these musics...like guitar flamenco and the Adagietto by Mahler...she used them for VM as they reached their complete artistic maturity...IMHO
@improvvisamente1 It also really makes me wonder if it's done on purpose, or if it's just b/c Zueva reuses some choreography... or poses I should say. I guess one can only come up with so many ideas, and many elements always need to keep being used even though these two skating categories aren't the same.
@italianjen29 I think it's not only a technical point, I think that Zueva is a passionate, artistic and sensitive woman...GG are in her heart. She found something similar in VM and she grew those qualities....classic elegance, the magic relationship on ice, the characters (tessa reminds ekaterina, so elegant and determined and scott reminds sergei, protective and joking).

@italianjen29 yes and part of the flamenco they used this year for the original dance was in the SP of G&G at 1994 Oly :-)
