  • very good man congrats! you should be a teacher you explain very good btw I am a teacher thanks again

  • hi im using the trail version and im not sure how to get together they both come in different windows.

  • Hi Thanks for all your great advice and for offering to do a photo stitching tutorial, ill look forward to it.

  • Hi, sorry i didn't explain properly, it was in response to the comment by Lekis504, selecting image layer & show transform controls. I can't seem to find them? Also i know how to make a transparent background, but i want to smooth out the edges with feathering, the option for refine selection is never available, do you know what i might be doing wrong?

Regarding photo stitching, is it possible for you to do a tutorial on that?

thanks so much for all your help & advice...its really appreciated.

  • @lemoncitrine Hi, to show transform controls just hit cmd-F, then you will see a little gear icon on the top left. Simply click on that and all the way down you will see an option called show transform controls. Then you will be able to resize easily. The refine selection wouldnt work with just a transparent background, if you mean a image within the background then make sure you click the layer of the image and then refine selection. I will try to have a tutorial on photo stitching soon.

  • why im not able to resize the image like you did with all 3 pictures?, it won't even show the option when you put the cursor on the corner of the picture.

  • @Lekis504 Make sure you select the image layer and show transform controls.

  • @unoploo Thank you so much, by the way, can you tell me which screencast software do you use?? thanks again.

  • @Lekis504 Hi, I use a program called "ScreenFlow" which is essential for creating great professional screen casts.

  • @unoploo Please would you explain these settings? i don't know where to find them.

    thanks.

also do you know if its possible to do 'photo stitching' i want to put a person on a different background?

  • @lemoncitrine Which settings are you referring to? Also for photo stitching, it is a matter of cutting the person out of a photo using the polygonal lasso tool and copy-paste to another background.

  • how do you make the brush fethered?

  • Great stuff, thank you!!!

  • Another great tutorial! I'm a subscriber...keep em coming! ;-)\

  • @hollyzgirl thanks, will do!

  • What about cutting and pasting other images with pixelmator.

  • @smoovbeing im not exactly sure what you mean by "cutting and pasting". Do you mean cutting an image from another window and pasting it somewhere else? Simply locate these actions under the "Edit" menu. If this is not what you meant, please specify and i will try help.

  • when i drop my pic in i cant size it down it fill tha whole page please help

  • @LAHLAHWON make sure you have checked 'show transform controls' on the tool options. then just find any corner of the image and scale it down. also you can also try to make the page resolution bigger so you have more space. if you're only using one image then just drag the picture from your desktop to the pixelmator app icon and it will automatically open and show the whole image. hope this helps!!

  • GOOD GOOD CAN U MAKE AN EASY 1 THAT SHOWS HOW TO WHITEN TEETH PLEEEEEASE THANX

  • @LAHLAHWON Definitely! Thanks for the suggestion, will make one as soon as possible! :)

  • so would this be a great way to make a collage

  • @CRPritch20 Well it could depending on how many pictures you want. but i feel blending pictures together is not very effective if u want to make a collage.

  • @unoploo Ok thanks dude

  • @unoploo yes i did. make a pinnacle studios one
