I always thought this song was spiritual with some of the lyrics being "I reach out from the inside" - inner reflection and "I look to eternity to keep me awake and alive".

This song is locked in my heart forever, because it was the song that accompanied us when we carried a much loved friend, who died way too young, to her grave. In her eyes I was more loved and more perfect than I could ever be in my own eyes. That is a different kind of love to me.
So thank you for writing the song and making it available to all our hearts and souls, for all of us to each interpret in our own way.
