  • sounds much like tony benett but good

  • reminds me of those Sunday afternoons. My father would drop a needle.... while the sauce was simmering, jimmys voice marinated the sauce!

  • R.I.P. Jimmy

  • He will soon have a new DVD out! The guy still has a great voice! FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE is TONY's song though!

  • Bravissimo!!!!!!!!

  • my mom played jimmy roselli music when we were kids he is/was awesome saw him at westbury he blows you away.......he was so gracious to say hello to my mom when he was on the radio doing an interview it made her century.......he is a true gentleman

  • Tony Bennett sang this,I love Tony, wonderful voice,BUT cannot compare .Roselli was one of a kind, never to be duplicated.

  • Maybe, just maybe he has the greatest male ever.

  • @thetimelesswonders No question, there was none,or are there are any now that even remotely comes close.

    Close possibly was Jerry Vale.

  • @shp056 Of the great Italian American crooners like Bennett, Sinatra, Damone, and Perry Como only Roselli and Vale sang in Italian. Dean Martin tried but his pronunciation was shaky.

  • 11/07/10 NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I HEAR THIS HEAVENLY VOICE, I AM AMAZED WHY JIMMY DID NOT RECEIVE MUCH MORE EXPOSURE THAN HE DID. BUT TO US, HIS DEVOTED FANS, THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN TAKE HIS PLACE. MAY HE LIVE A LONG AND HEALTHY LIFE IN FLORIDA, AND THEN GO TO SING WITH THE ANGELS A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW. roselli

  • @Honey1931 He could not,Frank Sinatra made sure of that.

  • Go to Jimmy Roselli's Official Fansite on facebook. Search "Jimmy Roselli" and join his page. Jimmy actually checks the page often and interacts with his gracious fans. Come check it out!

  • wow!what a great voice!!

  • The Song was first sung by *Anthony Newley* Stage Play *Stop the World I want to get off*

  • is that a stevie wonder song? maybe this is where m.buble gets his style.

  • I have never had any of Jimmy's albums. I never really heard any of his songs. But, if what I heard was true about how he turned down the mobs "offer" and in doing so, Jimmy ended up selling his records out the back of his car! If that is true, and I have no doubt that it is,....then GOD BLESS JIMMY! Back in those days the the mafia was everywhere and had more "say so" then the govt. and they were the law! I'm happy to read Jimmy turned out well in life! ....... Romans 8:28.....!!

  • @44skins I just stumbled across your post of last year. Yes, Jimmy told the "mob" to go jam it. They made him pay. Another Italian American Mario Lanza also turned down the mob's "generous" offer of assistance in his career. He wound up dead instead. They say it was a heart attack but it is believed that the"boys" did him in.

  • Jimmy resides both IN NJ and Flordia. Jimmy is retied now for a while. He went out on top of his game. Still a great voice. If your a real Italian, you have to listen to JR, as well as all our non-italian friends.

  • Love Jimmy but I have to say that Bennetts Version is untouchable.

  • of all versions i've heard this one can bring tears to my eyes.

it's like hearing it for the first time!

    what a revelation!

  • Both Tony Bennett and Jimmy Roselli are better then Sinatra ever was!

  • Sinatra was cuter and had blue eyes. At least that's what all the fainting female fans thought. Frank's voice was pretty good too. I love Jimmy Roselli's renditions and am glad I have found some other fans besides me.

  • Perry Como is better than all of them.

  • @LDis1 YOU ARE NUTS roselli fan

  • @Honey1931

I like Jimmy very much. better than Frank.

Jimmy is in my top 5 of crooners...

  • Jimmy was the best! Better than Sinatra! He hit all the notes! What an ear he has! Pitch perfect. Love his Italian and english tunes.

  • ManagerGuy1,

I agree with you. He is absolutely fantastic. Sinatra had all the right breaks not to undermine his talent, but it is true.

Kudos to Mr. Roselli. I have some of his albums in my record collection.

  • what a voice!i remember my mum loving him!do you remmember rose marie and timmi yuro??

  • he is my great uncle my grandpa is his brother ralph rosselli is my g-pa aka sonny

  • Dear Reaper,

You are so fortunate to have him as your great uncle. Is he still entertaining. I believe my dad said he resided in New Jersey. My father, Will Rosenberg, was from Newark, NJ.

    Always,

    Iris
