They should get back to the basics. Mortal Kombat 2 had the be the best method of creating a fighting game. Could be 3D per se, but the MK2 mechanics made it enjoyable.

MK2: Many explosions or same-result fatalities, but this is my favourite.

mk vs dc was good to an extent. the storyline worked pretty well, gameplay was great on ps3 and xbox360 bt the only problem i noticed is that it lacked the mk essence that we love so much... a hell of alot of blood and body parts flying after a cool ass fatality!!! wth is a heoric brutality? a bitch-a-fied version of a real fatality? i mean come on batman, gro some balls!!! seriously we-mortal kombat fans- need a good old fashioned rated m mortal kombat. lets hope 8 or 9 fufills that.

Ed Boon has always been known for his comic love, hence Babalities and Friendships. He did this for one main reason. Theres another series of video games called Marvel vs. Street Fighter (Capcom) WHo's Marvel's biggest rival? DC, and who's Street Fighters? Mortal Kombat. Thats why he made the game. I agree its stupid to have an MK game without an M rating but I'm just trying to defend Mr. Boon as to why he would do this.
