this happened in kurdistan not because people were kurd or Sunni muslim. it happend because people were brave and stood against the regime. the regime would do it in TEHRAN as well if people decide to be brave like kurds. but that day is too late for the mullas because kurds were only 10% of the population of iran but if tehran stands up it means that the whole iran has already done it so the regime is gonna face 100% of iranians.

and i'm from Urmiyah and the population of Kurds is more than Azeries in Urmiyah and Urmiyah is a Kurdish city.....and your are right about Azeries are not Turkish and they are the second major ethnicity in Iran but your not right about the populations of these two ethnics
