@mushroom9278 Have you seen the DC commercial by ken block the truck part references? Just saying. Sure he is the king of making a Subaru smoke but in the part he goes under the truck as it explodes, well the smoke is identical. I'm not saying that the game will have true to life smoke as most PCs could not handle that amount of particle calculation, but it IS coming i assure you, what with the particle effects in DX11 as shown by Metro 2033. But this is to life, actually.

@mushroom9278 I have just seen some gameplay videos and it is quite excellent (the tire smoke). But bear in mind you are not driving well if your tires are smoking. Drifting is an art, not a racing style. I do agree with you though, they don't look very real in this slow motion video to my eyes either, but what can i say when ive seen the real thing. check it out his dc ad;

what dirt 3 would really need is to start out with more basic rally cars like a stock sti or evo. then you would have to go through the game, modify and buy better cars to work your way up to the pro level. also i would like to see more real rally racing. from what ive heard, there is going to be even less than in dirt 2, which is not very promising for me

Man Dirt is so Awesome i wonder if this game will rival the Dirt 2 in the way that dirt 2 beat up dirt 1. I cant imagine it will. They are still using the same physics engine.

(They have tweaked it of course) But still new cars more maps And they say many more rally cross maps so thats cool. Graphic wise i cant see it will be much better. Maybe the maps but not the cars nor the water, mud and dirt.

What a year for racing games!I've already pre-ordered Shift 2 unleashed and then we have Dirt 3 and Forza 4.I'm anxiously waiting but hyped up for these games.TDU 2 honestly sucks.They had 4 years and they brought us the same non sense.It's a great idea and a lot of cool things going for it but it's not for me.I'm a big fan of Fuel and just about everything Code masters makes.Great trailer for Dirt 3,it's gonna be awesome like the other 2!

I like how it was the Subaru Ken drove which earned all this fame, and now that he drives the fiesta, it suddenly has all the fame it has not earned. I dont believe Block has won much with the fiesta yet.. but I also stopped following him when he dropped Subaru. Also, all the previews show scenes from Gymkhana 2 except with the fiesta.. the fiesta never did those things, the subaru did.

they should definetaly make it so you can customize your own car, that way we wont get sick of the same liveries, because it gets really annoying looking at the same paint schemes all the time. They should make it so we can make our own paint schemes and have a little more freedom in customizing the cars, so that when we are online we dont just see the same cars all the time, then people can be recognized for their individuality
