neocube,cybercube,buckyballs,M­agnoballs....they are all the same(Ni-Cu-Ni)'N35' spheres.except magnoballs use (Ni-Cu-Zn) to stop the coating from flaking off.Cheapest are Magnoballs.

Yeah, it comes with something special alright...it comes with a ridiculous waiting list while the "owner" tries to source his cheap magnets from China, and a free padded envelope. Honestly people, the name "NeoCube" is great and all, but get a grip. These are just NdFeB spheres, that's all. 3mm, 6mm, 8mmm...whatever, all function the same when combined like that.

I am quite curious as to just HOW you think that Neocube can make their magnets with a little extra something.

They are spherical which just so happens to be a constant shape whoever produces it.

They are magnetic - NdFeB, which although does allow variance dependant on composition, will generally be of similar strength.

There's just no room for "special sauce" on a solid metal ball
