the original lyrics to tranquilize were different, like in the last linewhen they play it live too he says "where the vampires and the bombs tranquilize". But Lou Reed thought it would be better as "where the Bushes and the bombs..." so they changed it for the song

unfourtunatly, i had never seen them live..but i hope so!! they really know how to play, and sing but they have a different posture in stage..theyre not screeming, or jumping..they just offer them music.but i like it

And yes, I do have the RAH dvd- my dad bought it and that`s when I first really fell in love with TK...more than I already was. I have to agree completely. after watching RAH i truly fell in love with TK aswell. my fav song on there would be For Reasons Uknown simply coz in the middle of the song he talks and the whole time i was awwwwwwwwww how cute. was he talking about his wife? also i like the little introduction to Mr Brightside and All These Things That Ive Done. i also like Human, Spaceman, Sam's Town and Bling lol but they were all excellent.

@ChocChiipCookiies Especially with a band such as The Killers, it`s incredibly difficult to choose them, lol. I just love ALL of their songs...my top five would probably be This Is Your Life, On Top, Sweet Talk, Read My Mind, and Under the Gun. I`m not sure, though- they tend to change every now and then...Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll + This River Is Wild are favorites as well. What about you? ^.^

I read that Brandon wrote it but it does sound like Lou Reed. But they have grown over the years. I guess considering they didn't have passports at this point, they probably didn't see much of the world. I think at this time not too many people wanted to be Dixie chicked.

Actually "Tranquilize" was already written before Lou Reed got involved. They sent Lou the song and asked him to be in it and he said he liked it.

Brandon stays in the middle on his politics.
the original lyrics to tranquilize were different, like in the last linewhen they play it live too he says "where the vampires and the bombs tranquilize". But Lou Reed thought it would be better as "where the Bushes and the bombs..." so they changed it for the song

Have you ever seen them live? They play their songs great, but there's nothing exciting about their concerts. They don't even make them interesting, just play and maybe speak a couple lines.
