@travelsonic Keep in mind that this was the first GBA game for Sonic. It is unrealistic to expect to be perfect at something on your first try.

I mean, Sonic had been released on the Neo-Geo Pocket Color, and it was the only release on that console, the music sounded pretty good in my opinion - I meant moreso the hardware for the GBA felt kinda lacking compared to other consoles - portable or not, at the time.

I still find it funny how SEGA tries porting Sonic 1 to the GBA - and we get this glitchy mess with poor collision detection, music kinda sucking, etc..... Stealth of the Sonic rom hacking community ported Sonic 1 PERFECTLY [without all the bugs the official GBA "port" had] - and in such a way where it'd run on an actual GBA if flashed onto a cartridge - relatively soon after its release.

This and the second final boss have this melody that suggest Eggman is totally sadistic and brutalizes Sonic and all of his friends, and even his enemies for no reason, yet compared to the last boss, they're total wimps.

@QuickSilverZero1 You should see Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1. He uses the same machine from Green Hill, except when he's near death, he changes his moves a little.

Hey this is a remix of the Sonic 1 boss music! XD Sounds really awsome in both games, though. I bet it'll sound even better hearing it while actaully facing the boss in the game! ^^

Music like this without rock n' roll in the way of it, makes the boss actually seem a lot scarier than loud rock music ever will.
