This cue was also used in my favorite scene of the series so far, the closing scene of "33" where Billy tells Roslin that a baby was born in the fleet.
One of the funniest moments of BSG that I remember is during the miniseries when Adama is watching Dee and Billy talking, and he says "They better start having babies" and Tigh says "Is that an order?"
but my favorite is the probably most epic one in wich adma goes:
galactica has seen many history and been through many battles..and this will be her last...she wont fail us if we dont fail her..if we succeed our mission she will llead us home and if not it doesnt matter anyway....ACTION STATIONS
I really, really wish they had used this theme in the later seasons. I really felt the absence of it in seasons 3 and 4. It has the same inflection as the old 70's BSG theme had, so there is something very familiar and heartwarming about this track. Love it.
AppolloVI is correct. This piece of music have been used as one of the closing musical theme in season 3 and 4. It's message is "we are tired and and embattled, but we will not give up."
This was the first tune that touched me when I first heard it on the Mini-series, full of loving-kindness, and healing. A special series, elevated beyond the original while honoring and respecting it at the same time. Kudos
Pure chills when I listen to this song.

The bit where Billy tells Roslin that a baby has been born on the Rising Star gets me everytime and this music is probably the main reason why!
