Last time an Aircraft Carrier will ever come to Australia. We do not allow Nuclear powered ships to enter Australian ports. Kitty Hawk was the last conventional Carrier and so with the Greens edging closer to power we will Never Ever see an Aircraft Carrier in our lifetime.
After watching clips of the 1967 Forrestal Tragedy and numerous clips of WW2 U.S. carriers being hit by Kamikazis, torpedos and bombs, I doubt that 2 sunburns will make any significant impact other than temporarily delaying air operations, if the carrier gets hit that is. Aircraft carrier design has continuily evolved, especially in the realms of survivability and damage control. That is one thing people (like you) have not realised. With your technical know-how pls explain your rationale to us!
i met several sailors on the constellation[connie] in san diego.i was told by them, this ship was originally supposed to be the connie.they were both being built at almost the same time.the original ship kitty hawk suffered severe fire damage b4 launching and had to undergo extensive repairs.the original constellation was renamed kitty hawk and vice versa because the kitty hawk was the next in line to be launched.the connie retained some of the kitty hawk plaques on some walls.
you have no idea how hard it would be to penetrate the layers of defense to reach the carrier. let alone damage it. two sunburn missiles would be wiped out hundreds of miles away from the carrier. don't be retarded.
US navy doesnt need other navies to contain China at this point. its sheer numbers and technology superiority as well as crew experience by far out duels Chinese counter parts.
They have to hit the carrier first. Amongst all those planes somewhere are MULTIPLE automated antimissile phalanx cannons. Good luck. Oh not too mention most carries are protected by a whole battlegroup too!
Free speach in action. Try cutting a film clip like this IN China using the Chinese Navy. Different opinions voiced are a good thing, whether you agree or not.

Your aircraft ship is sitting next to our 5 war ships. Funny how the US spend billions on war and when you visit them their streets are littered with homeless people and poverty. Interesting way of life.
You see, in the US, with our 5% unemployment rate, anyone who wants to work can. Most of the homeless choose not to participate in organized society. We allow people the freedom to live where they choose and have social programs for those that do fall on hard times. One of our biggest problems is illegal immigrants coming for the may jobs. Better than your 25-30% unemployment.
Well I'm glad you enjoyed our visit. I know I had a good time in Sydney. Ignore the ships company people who complain about things like cinderella libery, they brought it upon themselves. Just makes me glad they're not in my squadron!
Wasn't part of ships company was part of Admirals staff on the Reagan. If I wasn't serving Admiral Mike Miller or SKCM Fullinara I was Helping EOD1 or SOC. I had 4 nights to myself no cinderella liberty, all 4 nights in HK, all 4 nights in Japan I didn't have to report back to the ship at 2400. Pick up Staff Orders when ur up for orders again.

I was w/ an F-14 squadron on the Kitty Hawk back in 94-95(brownshirt, flight deck). I went all over asia(japan!, hong kong, korea, singapore, etc), but I didn't get a chance to go to Australia in 11 months worth of sea time, & all the guys who went there said it was the best.
I've never heard a bad word about Australia in fact. Well, a cpl of wankers tried w/ the guilt trip routine, but thats about it & they didn't count 'cuase they're wankers, so wankers 0, Aussies: more than 0.
You missed out chief. Australia is awesome. Ive been to the U.S 3 times (hawaii, ny, and mi, for holidays and I've given up looking for paradise. It's in my backyard.
we should have launched the planes off the catapult, and bombed the fuck out of those convict aussie mother fuckers, out of revenge for taking our american dollar, and hating american people.

Some Navy ships contain gangmembers from all over the U.S. who later form gangs to break the will of authority of their division chief many times while their division officer ignores the situation out of fear. Other ships composed of both male and female crew members work out a structure of hierarchy outside of rank where promotional advancement is based on sex.

Fuck the Kitty Hawk, I've seen people get blown off the flight deck to committing suicide to getting kicked out, this command in general is so bad that they tried so hard to cover up anything that happens like when that one guy last year beat up that old Japanese woman
Ok, I apologize for jumping to conclusions. It is an interesting song. I have never heard it before. Anyway, glad that you have been able to see so much of the Kitty Hawk. I have not been out to see it even once. Probably, the cost of the trips to do so would be so large from the US. But, thanks for taking the time to produce the film. I enjoy seing them because my son is stationed on it. Good luck with your future films.
If this is anti-military, perhaps you would like to speak Chinese or Arabic as your primary language. Perhaps you would love being forced out of your own faith into Islam. You need to think of these things before you protest against the very people who protect you. I assume you are a young person. It would not hurt you to join your own forces and defend your country. It will not only turn you into a man/woman from a child, but it gives you a whole new outlet on life.

Herd about the chinesse sud surfacing close to the Kitty. Phantom sub tripped beacons on Japans ocean floor, 2 weeks later would put sub in east asia ground zero of Tsunami, it was not caused by earthquake, but a neutron nuke, no rads, can go back to ground zero 1 week later, no rads, not a Tsunami, but a test for alqiada in the future, or will be blamed on binladen
I herd about the phantom sub, and there 2 different places that what you speak of took place. The P sub was off the coast of japan, the other sub that sufaced near Kitty was in a classified area was a chinese deisel class sub, no worry's mate.
Bad choice of songs dude, Peter Garrett is a bald headed, Gough Whitlam loving, chardonnay socialistic, labor party cock sucker. If the guy had two IQ points he'd have to be wary of them rubbing together and starting a fire. I have spent some time with him and he is incredibly dumb. Anti establishment butt fucking cockfag that he is.
I totally agree. The mere fact that I took the time to go and see the old girl, should indicate where my feelings lay. Perhaps a bad choice in the backing track.
Yeap, as I have stated; wasn't a great PR job for the US Navy. Could have been a great experience, but one lost by the US Navy. It upset a lot of Australians in all ports Hello Kitty visited. Pity!!!
this video totally rocks, you've chosen the perfect song for this *Village People woulda made it crappy*... was there on the 21st July to see the Kittyhawk & she was an awesome sight... my partner was stationed on the Kittyhawk briefly when he was with the USMC so the Kittyhawk holds special memories for him... thanx for the great video
I was One of The lucky Ones Who Had A Tour On The Kittyhawk,It Has Opened My Mind Has To How Great The Personal On Broad This Great Ship Are This Video Was Great I Loved it
You lucky lucky girl. I agree with your observations, the crew really do display commitment. 6 month deployments, all in the face of adversity. Gotta be hard!

Perhaps a bad choice in the backing track.

err...this is anti US military force song!!! Midnight Oil when Peter Garrett was aradicial pop singer not a politician.

great song though, it is probably more anti US government, i don't think peter has or had anything against the actual men and women in the US forces.

Yeap, as I have stated; wasn't a great PR job for the US Navy. Could have been a great experience, but one lost by the US Navy. It upset a lot of Australians in all ports Hello Kitty visited. Pity!!!

You lucky lucky girl. I agree with your observations, the crew really do display commitment. 6 month deployments, all in the face of adversity. Gotta be hard!

Very sad vantage point indeed. Not a very good PR job by the Yanks considering how many people turned out to see the old girl! (Kitty Hawk)
