I was at a crossroads on a budget and instead of paying $600 on a mac mini that doesn't come with a cd/dvd drive I got a Gateway Desktop AMD 2.9ghz 6 core phantom II processor, 1.5 tb HD, 6 gigs of ram and a 1gb nvidia card all for $500. I can play BF3 and edit movies in 4k and use all the adobe programs smoothly. Take that apple

No one uses eSata so I dont know why the fuck you care about that. The only use of firewire I know of is for cameras so one down for mac pro. I don't know why apple insists on firewire over usb. BTW, the Apple's wires are behind the motherboward and worked into the chassis. One more thing... PC stuff is versatile, it is upgradeable. You're right. HP did kill Voodoo. Alienware on the other hand have not been killed by Dell. It doesn't really matter what it looks like on the inside or the back to me, as long as my "bomb" can out perform a Mac pro of which I have two of, any day and the Mac pro's I have has 2 quad core Xeon processors X5550. Fuck Mac, I can't do shit with a Mac. I've never been more disappointed with a product in my life. I don't have an Alienware though, I build my own. Thanks

But I agree that Alienware is overpriced and crap, but so is the Mac pro, and any other apple computer. Dell has no reason to make the Alienware nice inside as there is no window and nobody will open it up. Mac makes it tidy inside so they can charge more. And some of the stuff you can get with the Mac pro is pointless. Dual 6 core processors? Why?!? Maybe they should put some decent graphics cards in next time. And yes you do need the watercooling for overclocking.

IT'S A PC! i did some research and found that the most powerful mac that you can buy has got half the specs of the Origin Genesis. The Origin Genesis has a overclocked hex-core Intel i7 extreme processor at 5.2 GHz, and the Mac have like half that, a quad-core 4.8 GHz. Basically, PC's are way more powerful then Macs. BUY A PC!

@AppleSoldier The mac pro can support one graphics card. The alienware has a ps2 port because some gamers prefer a ps2 keyboard over a usb one. No one uses eSata so I dont know why the fuck you care about that. The only use of firewire I know of is for cameras so one down for mac pro. I don't know why apple insists on firewire over usb. BTW, the Apple's wires are behind the motherboward and worked into the chassis. One more thing... PC stuff is versatile, it is upgradeable. Everything on a mac is custom made, try getting a random PCI-e card working in a Mac. The only thing I like about apple stuff is it's design. That is why I use the perfect mix of the two!
