  • this is the positive side of philippines

  • KAso it is overcrowded na, like people from the province prefer to work here to kaya ang kalat na talaga unlike the mtro provinces like Cebu at iba pa. I've heard the government is thinking of choosing a new capital for the country, something that will trully represent the beauty of our dear country. I am from Manila however karamihan kasi ay di na particular sa order and beauty nito :-)

  • Philippines is to be said as The Pearl of the Orient. And it is absolutely true and in fact we are not only improving our economy but also our tourism.

  • Miss na miss ko ang Pilipinas! MABUHAY!

  • And FUCK ANYONE saying shit about this beatiful country, and FUCK Racists no matter what race they are!

  • I'm White BTW, from Texas.

  • Some Puerto Ricans in my school kept saying the filipinos had nothing but huts and tribes and that they are barbarians.(Yes, they are racists), but my family and I went to philippines this summer and I've got to say,it was amazing. The white sand beaches were beautiful, and the cities were exciting!(I especially love Mall of Asia, probally the biggest mall I've ever been to.)I also saw the huge 2000 year old rice terraces, I thought it was amazing enginerring. I love that country.

  • thnk you

  • Wow it's so nice to hear from a white man. Thanks. Welcome to the Philippine Islands. Mabuhay. ;)

  • Thanks a lot. Actually Puerto Rico and the Philippines have been under Spain for about 3 centuries but the people fought for freedom. What they know is very far from who we are and what we have and I do thank you so much ofr being a witness of whatever we can offer to the world. :-)

  • Putang ina... ang ganda ng Pilipinas. Pangit nga lang si Gloria, hehehehehehe!!! Peace!!!

  • ikaw ang pangit LOL

maganda naman si gloria bansot lang!

  • This is not all,Philippines has a lot of beatiful places that they did'nt show in this video like the manila ocean park, pagsanjan fall, rice terraces, enchanted kingdom, hundred islands etc.

Philippines is really a beautiful country.

  • Wow philippines really beatiful.

    I love it.

Mabuhay!!!

  • I am proud to be a pinoy kaso lang mga loco ang mga puti akala nila maganda ang maga girls nila kesa sa mga girls natin.Pilipinas 4 ever.

  • "so, no matter where you from, you'll always feel like home"

    WAGI! agree ako dyan!

  • excellent video presentation ... kinda sad though bcoz the reality is that most of the pinoys don't get to enjoy the beauty of the philippines. buti pa ang mga foreigners at mga well-off filipinos.

  • this is cool and all...

    but the song is creepy.

    XDDD

  • the music is just right.

  • the philippines is known as the pearl of the orient, known for their hospitality

  • someday the Philippines will have its own ship yard. we have natural resources of iron ore to build a ship. we only need investor.

  • actually exomand, we already have our own shipyard. Cebu has been making ships for many years now with the aid of the Osmeñas.

  • Yap, meron na ata sa cebu at subic, if i'm not mistaken.. :)

  • i wish the government will focus on economy rather than tourist attractions because come to think of it, not all people will visit philippines by attractions but visit the economic system that is happening right now, who cares what people say about we'll do this next year... you know what, thats crap man, i want pollution to end and i want a good image for people to look at now images that comes out the wrong way of mother nature... i beg of this to happen and save philippines!

  • i miss pilipinas...

  • wow didnt know my country had underground trains

  • I am so proud being a filipino, BUT i also feel bad coz of the impression on what others think about PHILS. . I am now located in south africa and botswana, and I dont think philippine tourism is doing a lot of effort promoting our country. When you walk to some bookstores specially on travel guide sections, you dont even see any books about the philippines here.... and a lot of people here doesnt know where philippines is . people here can afford to travel, but our tourism focus on other things

  • ai wa.. kapampangan ya ing migupload kanini..

  • 2:27 GO LRT2!!!

  • Im proud to be a filippino so common now dont make yourself to be a foriegner to your own country HALIKA BYAHE TAYO!

  • 1:02, is that a Komodo dragon? If it was, don't they live in Komodo island only?

  • lol! its not komodo dragon its just only a normal monitor lizards.

  • I'm to be a Filipino!!!

    mabuhay philippines....

  • The Philippines is a great place. Through all the poverty stricken areas and some gov't corruption, the Filipino people are the nicest, most welcoming, and hospitable people in Asia. They are thankful for everything and are very proud people. Great beaches, many islands, tons of tourist attractions. Great place any time of the year.

- Juan dela Cruz

  • does anybdy knws the title of this song being used by the Philippine tourism? pls. reply

  • err... It's really in the Philippines.. I've been there a lot of time.. search in the internet... and the beach they said "boracay" search that.. "boracay philippines" =D

  • so true.

  • I love the philippines and the Filipino people!they're freindly, warm, cool and hospitable people in asia!!!the foods are awesome!!promise i shall return!!

  • Booming demand for international travel is exacerbating climate change and threatening many destinations, UN experts said. Tourism accounts for 5 percent of global emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases, its share for global warming is expected to jump as increasing numbers of people travel. "The tourism industry is going to double between now and 2020. We cannot afford that the emissions also double in the same time," World Tourism Organisation Secretary-General Francesco Frangialli.

  • I love the Philippines!

  • I think that i'm going to love this country. I'm coming in one week for three weeks. I'm going to make a documentary about your martial arts. See you soon.

    Lionel

  • I went to the Phils for the first time last year and totally fell in love with the place. My fiancee is a Filipina and we plan on living there eventually. The culture is great, the people are friendly and respectful for the most part. Depending on where you are spending your time, try to get to Bohol and the Davao beaches. Iligan city has some incredible waterfalls as well. The women are gorgeous and the food is awesome. I can't wait to go back again!

  • I love our country soooo much that's why i really want our country to improve...and that's what i'm really hoping for. PHILIPPINES, STOP SLUMBERING!!!...So we can prove those people who insult us and put us down wrong...

  • I love Philippines because it's my country...and I'm proud of being a Filipina...but whenever i think about how corrupt our government is and how undisciplined "some" of the Filipinos are...or should i say "most", i'm starting to feel ashamed of our country.Yes, i'm proud of my race but how i wish our country could be better.

  • it didnt look like that when i was there

  • wow so beautifull

  • Very beautiful country!..I've been in the Philippines once. I visited Baguio, Manila and Boracay. People are very friendly and warm. Really loved to go back there again soon!...

  • The Republic of The Philippines..

Rich in both natural resources and heritage..

    trivia:

Philippines was once called the "Europe in Asia"

that was according to our prof. in History and from our book. It was during the spanish era, and they're referring to Intrmuros, that's the Europe in Asia..

hehehe, i simply love my country..

find it by yourselves, for you to know what i'm saying here..

    I'm proud to be PINOY!!

  • The Philippines

  • if only we can stop graft & corruption, the Philippines would be in a much better place and we wouldnt have so much poverty. While it is a beautiful place for sure i just feel sorry for the poor filipinos while the govrnment does nothing but enrich themselves

  • Very beautiful, I'd wish it would be a commercial to the whole world

  • Man, I love the Philippines when I was young.

My papa and mama used to bring me to the Palenke and yeah so fun

  • Mabuhay Philippines ;>

    I Love you XD

  • mabuhay! i miss the pilipinas so much. i'm so proud to be pinoy.

  • am loven it turu tututu!!!!! but i will never go there

P.S my girl is from davao city...!!!!!!! SHE IS GOING 2 MANILA I WILL MISS HER SO MUCH.;(

  • Please dont ask questions...find out yourself....i will only give few tips. For those who are wondering how long i stayed there, i lived in Phil for 1 year just travling. Im a white boy and filipno just wanted to get intouch w/ my roots, its the best thing ive ever done. it will eally open your mind. I encourage not only the pinoys but also anyone that likes to travel to tackle this adventure, its worth every penny..I sold my car and my dj equipmnt to do this.

  • if you want the best sea food go to Bolinao, its about 100 N of Manila, here they have the best sea food...fresh...again you must plan your trip. there are local inn (cheap). Again make friend with locals, they let you sleep over their house, friendly people. And ofcourse Bolinao have the best beach (Patar Beach) clear blue water white sand, and go april for barrio fiestas its the best!!!! GO! you only live once!!!!

  • ok remember that there are plenty of beautful beaches, im talking about empty beaches...you need to talk to locals and ask them the best beach. Make friends with them, ask them to bring their friends. you can barbeque at the beach. no tourist here. best place to do this is in Bohol. Panlao Beach, its better than Boracay. But there are alot you just have to travel and make friends. thats the key.

  • Foreigners assumes that once they reach Manila that they have reached Philippines. Think again! If you want to really discover Philippines you must really travel other islands like Palawan, the Batanes group, Bohol, Marinduque, Surigao, Panay, Leyte, Samar, there are 7,000 islands tagalog is main dialect but many can undertand some english (plan your trip each island have thie own fiestas, stay in small towns where local people are are most friendly).

  • wtf this got to do with avp and wat all u guys talkin bout oh yea im thai ^_^

  • I'm going back in September. I loved it, beautiful scenery, beaches, coral reefs and very nice hospitable people! Palawan and Camiguin were amazing. Next time we're going down to Siquijor and Negros Oriental. The only bad thing is the 25 hrs traveling to get there from Florida...

  • HUWAG SAKYAN ANG TAXI WITH PLATE # PXG 239 with taxi name NMG.ABUSADO sya!!!NAG OVER CHARGE SA AIRPORT SINISINGIL AKO NG 400 samantalang 160 pesos lang sa metro nya.

  • LOLOL!!! so detailed.

  • I understand that the issues about corruption and poverty will not leave the name of the Philippines clean. While it is true that "the people make a country", the wrongdoings of the powerful few should not hinder someone to love his own land. Whether you like it or not, the Philippines is still one of the best countries where one can study, travel, live and for other Filipinos (and yes even foreigners)a good place to retire.

  • Don't criticize the Philippines for everything! Every country is corrupt! there is no such thing as a "perfect" country you know. The country is one of the best no matter what people say. I've been there, lived there and its the BEST! Go Philippines!

  • I luv this country...proud 2 have a pinay mum =)

yea, the government may be corrup but there aint no politician who isnt...

I luv the people there, friendly as hell..

    Ingat palagi!

  • hello...the video mainly talks about tourism, not on government. you go there to enjoy the pleasure of the scenery, not to mind about how the government runs and work. some people just generalize on things too much.

  • I agree with jingiesa, all countries have their own negative issues which Philippines shouldn't take all the criticisms. If you don't want to visit then don't go. No need to leave bad comments as it bounces back on your nationality and to your own country. Don't let yourself be a way to criticize your own country. May God touches everyone's heart and mind.

  • Every country in this world have negative issues, no country is perfect specially its people. Dont hold your self just knowing the negative issue of one country why dont you just take a look on the positive side and you might thanking the lord that you try to check it out....peace....

  • ncusa is 100% correct-engengklangklang: rare innocent foreigners sent to jail because they have money. WHY ride airplanes 16 hours to see a country exactly like what they have just outside their international borders? meaning philippines must show it's worth visiting. it must have uniqueness to attract intellectuals to a re-discoveries of something different{not dirty-filthy canals-rivers-seasides-streets-slums-disoriented unorganize communities meaning why visit?

  • Your view on the Philippines has to be one of the most narrow-minded things i have ever heard said about the Philippines, If you Actually have been there (guessing you havent) you would have experienced the Unique Philippine culture, asia's friendliest people and the most unique islands and landmarks in Asia, if your saying that nothing is unique about the Philippines, then your totally wrong. More Philippines for me, less for you

  • I love it.. proud to be one..

  • base on the survey! The Philippines are trails behind in the tourism ratings, according to world report! WHY? coz many foreiners are falsely accused and sent to prison. There are cases of kidnaps.. and robbery

  • Just recently discovered The Philippines last month and the people are truely wonderful. I hope to be able to travel around and see more of this country.

  • tnx jimmymac1000! i admit the government is not the best but us people there will try to make it up. :)

  • bravo! mabuhay ang pilipinas!

  • Philippines, the pearl of orient!

  • The Philippines, More than the usual indeed!!!

  • Very cool

  • I love this video! proud to be Filipino!!! Philippines is trully a gem in Asia...
