To get the specific NPCs Merchant - Get 50 Silver Coins Nurse - Get a Crystal Heart Demolisionist - Get Grenades/bombs/dynamites Arms dealer - Get a Gun Dryad - Kill a boss. Clothier - Kill Skeletron. Goblin - Find in Hardmode (Bounded) after defeating Goblin Army Mechanic - Find in Hardmode (Bounded) in the dungeon. Wizard - Find in Hardmode (Bounded) after killing the Wall Of Flesh. Hope this helps and hope i dont miss any NPCs.

@darkdeath369 You can find the Goblin Tinkerer without being in Hardmode but you are correct about beating the Goblin Army for him to spawn in. Also same goes for the Mechanic. She is trapped in the dungeon, but you don't have to be in Hardmode for her to spawn in. The only one that needs to be in Hardmode is the Wizard.
