Well done. Played the piece how it wanted to be played. Many people take a lovely piece like this and make it a technical exercise of speed not of expression. Thank you.
Felicitaciones
This interpretation shows the difference between a great guitar talent and a true master. I think that Leo Brouwer wrote a sheer poem. Only the essencial notes remain and the rest is stripped.
Of course you would like to play it Rubato and Adagio and Molto Espressivo but . . . Leo said: Andante cantabile and let my notes tell their story. Of course if you feel inspired, go for your own interpretation, but I think a true master like Per-Olov shows us the way of the poet.
Very nicely done. I am glad you play the third section at a slower pace. I always cringe when it is rushed. Maybe it sounds more playful that way, but it disturbs the mood for me.
Saludos amigo!
I love the pace of your interpretation, especially in the E major section. Most people rush the crap out of it. I took inspiration from your performance when I played this a few years back! just happened to land on this video again today - no one better on YouTube!
It' s very romantic and sweet melancholy... isn't it?... I heard it for first time the day I broke up with my boyfriend and I cried a lot... it is amazing...
Wow... you play with such feelings, such passion... you really know how to serve emotion with technique and not the opposite. In my opinion this is what makes the difference between guitar technicians and artists... and you definitely belong to the second category ! On this autumn day you really touched me with that wonderful song and almost made me cry... keep doing your amazing work !
I've just heard this piece and have become completely enchanted by it. As a 64 year old woman who just returned to classical guitar 3 years ago after a 20 year absence, I find your musicianship very artistic and sensitive. Unlike some guitarists who mechanically perform the notes, you bring them alive with feeling. This will be the next piece that I will try to learn, but listening to your interpretation of guitar music is very inspiring for me.
Remarkable playing as always Mr. Kingdren! I find it fascinating that Brouwer can compose something so abtract and dissonant as his Tarantos or La Espiral Eterna but at the same time be able to create something as beautiful and romantic as this song! Ive been studying a lot of Brouwer etudes in school and I have to say I love your version of etude 6! But Id love to hear more of your renditions of Brouwers etudes! Best regards from California!

Dear mister Kindgren, I was moved by your interpretation of this piece by Leo Brouwer. I took the liberty to add pictures to it. I would like to show them to you.
Nicely played! I'm doing this same piece for college right now! I really like the way you've done the phrasing! Your interpretation is beautiful! Thanks for putting this up!
H AndanteLargo! I relly searched for an interpretation like yours on the internet!!!

But in part B (turning to major) you don't play as free as it could be. Hm......but my opinion is truly my personal opinion.....
I am so intrested in what you think about that!

Have to admit i didnt particularly like this piece when i 1st heard it. However after more & more listenings i gradually grew to appreciate it. So strange that it took so long to love & feel the beauty of this piece. I guess its 1 of those things which slowly grow on you. & yes, Peo, you played it beautifully.

This is a very nice song. But this isn't "Un Dia De Noviembre". This is Peo Kindgren's version of the song. I'm learning it right now and I can notice a lot of differences.
Just love this piece Peo, you give it so much feeling. Definitely the best and fullest version I've seen. Tempted to learn this myself but I've got a shortened version, what's your source?

Your version captures the feel I can have when staring out of a window on a cold november morning........feeling all warm and happy...

@TheOneAndOnly222m And...?? How did it go?
Za7a7aZ 1 year ago
This is a very nice song. But this isn't "Un Dia De Noviembre". This is Peo Kindgren's version of the song. I'm learning it right now and I can notice a lot of differences.

Wonderful sound. Great work.
As an aside, Damien Rice's 9 Crimes seems to share some melodic similarities. Just popped into my head as I was listening. Curious thought.
