@xtothefifthpower If you take out a loan to pay for your car, the car is the collateral. Collateral is the guarantee by a security (the car) pledged against the repayment of the loan. It's in the paperwork the owner signed to get the loan. The thieves here are the people who stop paying for the property they were given up front. The *bank* gave the person a car for nothing, with the understanding that it would be paid for over time. If you stop paying, you have stolen the car from the bank.

Well 1st off He should of KNOWN that it wasent going to roll Ridgelines are all AWD! The rear tires will spin but the front are locked, Rear tires AWD is Controled by the cars ECU for power not the parking gear Still needs a Flatbed or dolly . @TheCowboyluis He put it on a dolly...none of the wheels were rolling. Basically the truck was still in park. The rear wheels were lifted on the wheel lift and the front wheels were on the rolling dolly...no wheel roll.

@chillincruisin No because your thinking of all wheel drive, "4-wheel drive" is only able to be used off road or you would break a drive shaft as to the wheels would not turn at seperate speeds, so on road its only a 2WD. Good question tho. And for the wheels in the front of the truch the tow driver put them there cus the wheels were locked in the turned possision, or atleast the truck was locked up so he couldnt straighten them out to tow.

yeah it did take long but the reason? they assumed that the Honda Ridgeline, being a truck, is a rear driver. but it is in fact a front driver or all wheel drive. So that's why they had to put the little dolly on the front to get the front end to move. Solution next time? drag it out so it's in the street and then grab it from the front.

the wheel dollies were used becouse it was all wheel drive but they were also needed because the wheels were locked in a turned position the dollies were able to allow him to tow it down the road staight instead of verring off in the direction they were turned

Towing a 4WD without all 4 wheels off the ground can be done, but you risk significant damage to the transfer case an/or differentials. Thats why you see dollys used to tow a 4WD vehicle.

Not all 4x4's. Jeep Cherokees, Wranglers, Libertys, Honda C-RVs, Chevy Trackers can all be towed with all 4 tires on the ground, thats why you see a lot of them behind motorhomes.

His rationale is simple: First, a 2WD Ridgeline could get slightly better gas mileage, and second, he could have a lower entry-level sticker price on a Ridgeline.......) I found this online. I used to lot inspect and inspect lease turn in's for Honda. So go up to your local dealer and ask. Here in Oklahoma we have both.
