If you capo 3rd fret, it's (verse) E G D, and (chorus) Em G D Esus4 E. That's how I do my cover (guitar and voice), see it on my channel. So the real chords are 3 frets "higher": G Bb F and G Bb F Gsus4 G. I've heard you can use open G tuning, which I presume Beck is using above (I haven't looked closely enough).
I saw an interview where Wayne was bitching that Beck wouldn't show up to rehearsals and wouldn't call anyone to let them know. Kinda seems like hes upset at 3:46 when Beck says that they haven't played in a while. Don't know what he says but Beck seems like he's defending himself a bit. Unfortunately, these 2 didn't get along so well although both are very talented in their own ways.
@latta4 yep....I like both artists but in comparison, Wayne Coyne just doesn't have the depth that Beck has. It doesn't surprise me that they didn't get along because Wayne couldn't even sing along with the songs beck performs. I mean listen to his part on lonesome tears. After that, they just made him a side show/light guy.
i think it's funny that so many people on Youtube think Wayne is annoying, like your judgments matter. Beck knew what he was getting himself into when he got together with TFL. If the visuals bother you, you should just be thankful this music was made. Their mismatched personalities are just a part of what makes this one of, if not, THE best Beck or Flaming Lips show ever!! ok im done.

@cactaceous while I fully agree with what you're saying here, I must admit, I'm grateful for his disturbance this time cause I've been trying to figure this out on guitar and having real trouble, and this time when he has to start again after 4 minutes, the camera gives a great view of what he's playing, but yes, any other day of the week I'm 100% with you, well said
@cattena please tell me that wasn't the difficult part for you. if it was, you'll never figure this song out (the g tuning is easy, just listen to beck strum his open strings in the beginning.) by the way, wasn't this song originally under 3 minutes long?
