  • LINcredible.

  • The chef is awesome =)

  • I eat that shrimp dish all the time. Its not walnut shrimp here, its called 'Yum Yum Shrimp' and ours they add peaches...soooooo goood!!

  • @owned2easy I used to be a triple D'er like you, but then I took an elbow to the teeth.

  • is it real north pole, alaska

  • That walnut shrimp sounds awesome!

  • That guy can cook!

  • LOL, I use a fork.4:43

  • just like me i am chinese and i learn cookiong from my brother

  • ... that wasn't chinese, it was cantonese

  • @wang78739

thats was half cantonese and half mandarin! hao is mando for good and yeat is canto for hot... it should have been hao ri (mando) or ho yeat (canto)! chinese is an umbrella term for canto, mando, it's not a language!

  • @gablison this is correct...

  • I ate here Christmas Eve with Santa Claus. We had sweet and sour Reindeer.

  • 1:32 elbow to the teeth = arrow to the knee

  • I visit my parents in North Pole just so that I can go to Pagoda. Go to alaskafoodie.blogspot.com for a review.

  • ughhh love shrimp with mayo... we have it at our house every week :D :D

  • MAYO SHRIMP IS MY LIFEEEE I LIVE FOR THISSSSS

  • Will be there in 26 days

  • It all look so goodddddd

  • i'm chinese and that's my all time favorite chinese dish shrimp w/walnuts... it's totally bad for you but i could never get enough! also this guy is doing it right, chinese ppl usually serve family style, everyone gets a bowl of rice and picks whatever they like

  • @Paulpunkrocks you can make it not so bad by using low fat mayo and fat free sweet condensed milk. it's still lots of calories but at least you dont feel so terrible :D

  • I really really REALLY wanna move to Alaska now!!

  • I know what he does before he boils the shrimp.. ;)

  • 2:36 wow that's a lot of food...

  • I made the walnut shrimp recipe from this video, came out awesome and barely takes any time to cook. plus the honey candied walnuts make an awesome snack by themselves.

  • apart from the food, the one thing that I LOVEEEEEE about chinese restaurants are the BIGGGG servings for usually low prices

  • This chef is amazing...He must get a LOT of exercise while cooking...What I like about chinese cooking is the fast pace at which the food is cooked, the small cuts of meats/veggies and the vibrant flavours that come through in each and every bite...That walnut shrimp sauce looks like it's packed with as much calories as it has flavour...The fact that the chef made up the recipe for the walnut shrimp shows just how creative he is...It's clear that this chef cares about quality & his customers.

  • That asian man is doin asia proud.

  • Ate a pandoga tonight so good got the seafood combo

  • 5:18 of course u would say that. wat wouldn't be good from there jajajjajaja damn man i guess we can all just give up sometimes n say F@#k it gheez but wow everything does look good the king crab legs look soooo good. benny is always looking at guy all worried to see if he likes it comeon guy likes everything. at 1:57,4:53 annnnd at the 6:36 Benny i wish i was there before i die im going there n hopefully before the restaurant closes which i hope never happens or Benny passes away i hope not

  • what's cool is the craziest things turn out to be the best one time we cooked a pig in the ground for thanksgiving awesome with a couple of gallons of moonshine

  • My mouth is watering!!! YUM YUM!!

  • i love the asian restaurant owners in alaska

  • I"m gonna get some chinese food now.

  • i use fork... brilliant

  • Benny Lin, man this chef is awesome or what? Because his life revolve around the kitchen, the way he cook is just like a robot - so fast, yet knows what he's doing. Wish I can own a restaurant and be my own boss!! Ahh, right now I'm content in just being a hard-working student.

  • The chef reminds me of Martin Yan...It's clear that he is to chinese cooking what the Colonel was to KFC or what Morimoto is to sushi...Watching this video made my mouth water...Everything moved so fast and looked so delicious and I could tell that Guy was genuinely impressed and loved every bite of everything he had at Pagoda...The chef/owner seems like a great guy.

  • lmao guarantee 1 in 10 people eat that broccoli with that deep fried shrimp, u Americans are fat asses!

  • @adamcrap Putz.

  • @adamcrap shut the fuck up u little faggot

  • great video, best chinese food i've ever had, coconut shrimp there is great also.

  • Not having one Chinese customer in that video is a bad sign.... But food looks good

  • @michaelgee33 Almost no other asians in town. A few Pacific Islanders. They must be nuts, moving from the islands.

  • @michaelgee33 Dude....I don't think there is enough Chinese people living in Alaska to fill that restaurant to begin with lol....

The food does look pretty good though, at least he didn't overly westernize it.

  • sensational move

  • Really North Pole Alaska? I want to fly there but Alaska OMG that's super cold and way to far :(. I really want to try the food.

  • @RichMallare errr its not always super cold. Go in the summer.

  • that king crab dish looks fuckin amazing

  • I used to fold napkins at this restaurant when I was in Middle School. I wish i still lived in North Pole

  • if i ever went here i'd have an extremely hard time deciding whether to get to walnut shrimp or their beef dish, the last one showed

  • asianness!!! <3 i love how i know what these things are and how to cook it :D yay

  • That chef looks like Jimmy Page!! lol

  • Used to eat there every time I drove by on the way to/back from Fairbanks. (I lived in a small town south of there.) ABSOLUTE BEST. Nothing compares. I married a Chinese woman whose parents are first-generation immigrants, and they aren't as good at it as these people. None of the "secret" "non-Caucasian" restaurants they go to around here (So-Cal) compare, either. And BTW--real Chinese DO eat shrimp, I don't know what that one post-er was thinking (It's my wife's favorite.)

  • what? 6:45 to 6:50 that' s funny , that,s really killer , wow

  • Such a big wok

  • ok chinese food doesn't use that much mayo XD or condensed milk..........

  • Benny is my uncle... :D my dad, grandma and aunt started this restaurant. :D now my aunt owns it(Aunt Keri)

  • That girl at 5:15 set me off in my pants!

  • @69adrummer LOL

  • Real chinese would puke if they had the shrimps for dinner or lunch.

  • " I use fork". LMAO!!!

  • Damn...im hungry

  • 1:37. He's Chuck Norris and Emeril at the same time! As good as the food may be, there can only be one Chuck Norris.

  • @Br0wNN01sE it's just a joke, nim-rod. dont get so defensive cuz guy involved you secret gay lover crush.

  • @adamcrap I know it's just a joke. I'm just spreading the Good Word of Chuck Norris facts.

Secret gay lover crush, huh? You would know a lot about that, wouldn't you.

  • @Br0wNN01sE haha thats a good one

  • @Br0wNN01sE I know...this chef is more like Morimoto and Emeril at the same time

  • WALNUT SHRIMP IS AMAZING ANYWHERE

  • i am a proud alaskan

  • haha!! like he really drove his car to Alaska...or anywhere else he visits for that matter :P ...love the show though

  • @jsh4drums lol yeah actually they have a trailer for it where ever they go and then take it out for the filming xD

  • LOL sooooo funny

  • Great food here, great service, I have never been disappointed. It is AWESOME.

  • yay!!! BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!! AND I LIVE HERE TOOO!!!

  • @GroundFisher i envy you!!

  • i love this place. Mongolian beef is my favorite.

  • me too!

  • @GroundFisher Best Chinese Restaurant, and not just in Alaska. I have been in many Chinese Restaurants in the lower 48 and Hawaii, nothing compares!

  • I used to work here in 1995, I love Benny, and I love the Mongolian Beef, great owners, great food, this is the best food I have ever had, I wish I still lived in the area!!!!

  • Man... why can't we have any good Chinese places in Michigan?

  • Benny!!!!! Great video! You're awesome!! I miss Pagoda! haha Can't wait to you see you here in Miami!!
