That's seemingly retained from the original transmission date - presumably 1993. What's odder still is that Peel mentions in his commentary that 'this is how Viv saw his life in 1991'.
i'm glad i didn't see viv as a child, his look would have scared me,thankfully i was exposed to viv via 'henry' whilst smoking too much weed, what a storey teller!...a tragic loss... r.i.p.
Haven't seen this for a while. Fantastic to see it here !! 5 gold stars to those responsible. THANK YOU SO MUCH for keeping the memory of Vivian Stanshall alive.
Not forgetting Johnny Plee for the great intro and the original BBC team for actually recording it in the first place! I LOVE it very much - it's heaven to see and here it again.
Odd - why is the obituary from 1995 dated 1993? MCMXCIII = 1993 - 2 years before he died?

I bought my wife a new electric iron for eight and sixpence
She's still using it everyday and it's never needed repair"

Fantastic. I saw this when it was transmitted on BBC2 TV. So very glad to be reminded of it in all three parts. THANX!
Possibly Viv at his very best.
