I could be wrong, but doesn't a heavier BCG increase FPS? Because it has more inertia it moves back slower, allowing peak gas pressure to rise higher than normal as the inner volume of the BCG increases slower, and higher pressure obviously means higher fps. Gas consumption is increased because the magazine valve is open longer (as the BC is accelerating slower now).
Hello, and I would love to buy just the LOADING NOZZLE of this jdt steel bolt carrier! Also I have the exact same vltor 5ku bolt carrier and I was wondering if you could see if it fits into the 5ku and put it into your agm m4a1 and if it all works out and fits I would be more than happy to purchase it from you. SO please get back to me on this and comment on what you can do. I live in so cal by the way.
"Not China"? Was it necessary putting it that way? Btw, the days of taiwanese / japanese airsoft are counted. It just aint worth paying all that money for toy gun parts when the real ones cost LESS; over 100 bucks for a toy bolt carrier, give me an effing break, you can get 'em real ones for half the price. We're americans, we can have all the ar15s money can buy, plus we're your largest consumer base, and we dont care if they came from Taiwan, Japanese or the chinks, they're all clones to us.
im just wandering are you a racist or something, chinks, come on, and "were american, we can get all the ar 15 in the world", really? your just a standard dumb american, airsoft is a sport, but you wouldent understand that, and, im preatty sure u now this, but kids cant buy real ar's and shoot them at each other, morons like u piss me the fuck off
So do you think that getting an enhanced (stiffer) buffer spring would help improve ROF with top gas? Or would that inhibit the BCG from even cycling back all the way?
I'm sure with the CO2 in combination with stiffer spring, the ROF and recoil would be pretty awesome considering the heavy bolt.
The steel construction is a big bonus, but having to use CO2 or Red gas is more of a minus to me, since it will increase stress on the internals.
What if you used a dremel to shave off metal from the bolt to take off some weight? If you shave off enough of the bolt so that it matches the shape of the AGM bolt, then it might be more efficient. Only variable is whether or not it will compromise the bolt carrier's strength.
That is a slow rate of fire, but you get good recoil and you save up ammo. But then again, gas efficiency is really bad. Have you tried using Red Gas?
L3utthead: Like alkagnol said, the JDT carrier is 2009 Inokatsu design. It does NOT accept your AS loading nozzle or any other WA western nozzle. It only fits the stock or the Inokatsu 09 nozzle.
Also the weight is not so much because of the nozzle. It's due to the heavy bolt carrier.
I am using propane, which is equivalent to green gas. You can shoot off a full mag with effective shots if you fire on semi. Don't expect to get a full mag using full auto with the JDT carrier.
Oh I also saw your comment on the 5KU aluminum bolt carrier. I'm actually planning on getting that. Can you tell me if this list of basic parts is good?
5KU Aluminum BCG (off of PX-airsoft with the bolt face)
Steel Bolt Catch
JDT Hopup chamber with rubber
The brass-looking adjustable recoil buffer off of EB
I'm probably gonna get this sometime during Xmas (or sooner). I hope you do a review on the aluminum bolt; that's the one I was worried about.
Those parts are pretty good. I actually have one of those golden adjustable recoil buffers on the way as well.
One thing though. If you choose to activate your bolt catch, then the steel bolt catch will eventually wear out the aluminum carrier to the point that it will not lock back anymore.
It's a simple concept. Aluminum is softer than steel.
The aluminum carrier is meant for fast rate of fire setups. Turn off the bolt catch function to avoid your carrier from getting chewed up.
Correct. If you have steel on steel, both parts will wear evenly.
However if you run an aluminum, you'll get awesome ROF and improved gas efficiency. A lighter carrier needs less gas to move back so you'll get more shots per magazine fill.
Each type of carrier has it's advantages and disadvantages. It's up to the user to get what fits his needs.
Welcom to the GBBR community. There's alot to learn!
The BCG has a negative pressure system but, unfortunately, it's NOT adjustable. It's a FIXED neg. pressure system(NPS). The only adjustable system on the market is RA-Tech's Negative Pressure Adjustable System(NPAS).
Hi Luis. I saw your comment on EB... gratz on finally getting it :)
I have a question... Does the fact that there's a negative pressure system mean I could adjust the gas flow on my gun? I couldn't tell with the video because like many AGM users, I'm still a noob to the GBBR community.
lol i posted that comment after i saw that and i am gonna get this bolt. lol ima digatly copy it and cnc it to be lighter at my dads steel shop. ne ways goot build design. looks promising. also can u change the fps and how well does it cycle like rps ~ 14 tell me a estimate and how the fps change is

A stiffer spring will just make the BCG use more gas to move. It will be come more inefficient.
CO2 would make this BCG a great addition! It would kick and cycle so nicely but there are no CO2 mags......
This BCG is indestructible though.
I had mine lightened by a professional CNC machinist. It's cycling better, I can now get 30 reliable and hard-kicking shots.
It's for SALE too by the way.
Please let me know if you're interested.
Thanks,

The bolt carrier is currently at the shop getting lightened. I'll post an update as soon as I receive it.
I also got myself a CO2 adapter so the results with this heavy BCG should be fun!
Stay tuned.
Thanks guys.

The JDT nozzle is compatible wit the AGM bolt carrier? Because if it's compatibe, i can make a light bolt system with alu nozzle
Johnydepp86 2 years ago
No, the JDT nozzle is NOT compatible with the AGM bolt carrier.
The JDT nozzle only works with stock carrier and/or the Inokatsu 2009 bolt carrier.
Thanks,

I have an AGM m4 stock BCG w/ A.S. Nozzle. If i get this and replace the JDT nozzle w/ the A.S. , how much improvement in the ROF u think will i get?
l3utthead 2 years ago
JDT BCG is inokatsu design, therefore the JDT BC not accept a WA M4 based nozzle.
alkagnol 2 years ago
How has it affected your ROF?
Probably slows it down? And is your bolt catch stock? This must destroy a stock one.
goldeneye007662 2 years ago
The ROF has gone down drastically. It was great on the stock BCG but it's terribly sluggish and slow with the JDT BCG.
I have a steel Inokatsu bolt catch installed. And yes, it'll destroy a stock catch REAL fast.

No word on FPS yet. No chrono.
I'd definitely recommend removing material to make it lighter, The ROF on auto is about 10 RPS.
This would be great for CO2 use. It's very heavy so CO2 might be able to cycle it better....
-Luis
LuisG2185 2 years ago
also on this bolt carrier lookvery beefy and can handle a good beating. maby ill get one and try to use co2 also.

The loading nozzle is proprietary to the Bolt Carrier included.
This BCG is a 2009 Inokatsu design. It is NOT compatible with standartd WA design parts.
Currently, there are no 2009 Inokatsu BCG compatible aftermarket parts.
We'll just have to wait....
Thanks,
