  • Jesus rulez, religion doesnt.

  • I'm not really for dawkins beliefs but Bill O' Reilly is one scared motherfucker

  • fox is a joke

  • Dawkins is too much of a pussy to debate. Too much brains, no cock & balls. He needs to stop being such a delicate twat & add balls to his repertoire.

  • @iiwatcher I know you got some thumbs down for your comment but I agree. That's why Bill has had Dawkins on so many times and not Hitchens. Dawkins always has valid points but Hitchens is alot more agrresive and more than ready to insult idiots.

  • Yeah, I don't care about thumbs, that's for youtube cyber losers who think youtube or otherwise the "internets" is their life. I just care about calling things as I see them. I think Dawkins concedes too much--all brains, no cock & balls--sometimes you have to call ppl up on their bullshit bc ppl like O'Reilly won't hesitate to fight dirty right? Can't always be nice, or many times you lose even if your right. Thanks for the comment!

  • I think oreilly and the like are more afraid of loosing their vision of "moral" superiority, when science teachers relay only the facts. It's obvious fear mongering on their part to insinuate that society will collapse in kaos without bible class

  • Im throwin in with a cosmic jewish man , the churches make a lot of money from it!..since you scientists cant tell me the answer,..i just wanna have something to believe in,who cares if its true. Who cares if there were 100s of people who claim to resurect,..Jesus was the real one because he was the most recent. Jesus is god and his father creates war disease, death and retarded people because he loves us!!

  • "Im throwin in with a cosmic jewish man"

And I am throwing in with the belief that the entire universe randomly exploded into existence from nothing and that all known life forms in the universe originated on only one planet (out of possibly trillions) from a puddle of soup and that all the galaxies beautifully arranged themselves by mere accident and that life and the whole of reality has no real meaning because everything is just an accident and thus pointless.

  • @EmperorOfEditing

What purpose do lichens have? Life is exists merely to exist. It is an entirely human egotistical notion that things must have purpose. No, things must not have purpose. Science never states that life is on one planet. The "puddle of soup" is one explanation and better may come in time, that is how science works. Beauty is a human perception, galaxies have no concept of beauty, their arrangements are based on Gravity. Forces govern our existence not God.

  • "Jesus is god and his father creates war, disease, death and retarded people because he loves us!!"

The reason terrible things happen is because mankind is sinful and there are consequences for the sin of mankind. We deserve to die and yet God loves us so much that if we repent our sins and accept our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's sacrifice, we will spend eternity in Heaven.

  • @EmperorOfEditing

Sacrifice? So God sacrificed his only son to himself? What a sicko? Why did he need to kill his son to forgive our sins? Why didn't he just say you all owe me one days hard labor and your forgiven? Thats how redemption works in the real world. Riddle me that.

  • I could really enjoy hanging out with cheerful atheists, but I've never seen any.

  • how many people do you see around you in your day to day life? you talk with each and every one of them about their beliefs? you dont know whether youve seen any or not moron

  • @19271948

I could enjoy hanging out with an intelligent Christian, but I've never seen any.

  • @xTSARBOMBAx

I retract my statement, that was cruel. But I am just showing the one sidedness of statements like yours that originate from retarded thinking.

  • Richard Dawkins is very intelligent but not a great debater. He lets Bill O'reilly take the discussion wherever he wants. Its obvious to most people that the moral discussion was completely unnecessary in a debate about what is science.

  • @ModerateAmerica

Yeah, Dawkins needs to grow some balls before he goes back on that show. He is just feeding the monstrous ego of O'Reilly mainly because O'Reilly has no sense of logic to begin with. Trying to debate O'Reilly with logic is like trying to have a discussion about science with a brick wall.

  • the truth is these are all just belief systems that we all have, whether we believe in religion or not. There is not sufficient enough evidence and answers for anybody to go blindly into one belief system or the other. But O'Reilly has a point nobody knows how it all began, so both sides as far as i'm concerned are speculating.

  • Specilation is nothing more than a guess. science doesn't fit into that category but religion does, and thats the difference. Science doesn't claim to know how it all began.

Now I'm not saying that religion should be ignored, but there is a time and a place, and a science class is certainly not that place.

Also if religion is to be taught in schools, then ALL religions should be given equal discussion, not just the creationist version of the bible that BillO is so obviously hoping for.

  • @eaglesrule2004

There is so much evidence for the Big Bang that to not believe it happened is the most retarded move you could make. Surely, the Big Bang has not been fully explained because of limits in the technology of atom smashers, proton accelerators, etc. But it is a negative and false argument to say that because the Big Bang or evolution does not have all the answers, that we use God to fill in the rest. That is not science, that is stupid. Either do some research or go extinct.

  • Odd, I was waiting for exactly the same thing from you........

  • course they are, course. U keep tellin urself that, tiger. =)

  • Still waiting to hear a single coherent argument from you.....

  • Right...and ppl call me crazy.

  • From what I've seen of you so far, I'd say they're probably right.

  • *facepalm*

    Good luck with that comment.

  • No, you're right. I didn't expect you to have anything original to say anyway.

  • Did you not watch the vid.? What is it exactly with ignorant Atheists and their manipulation of Dawkins vid. titles that always seem to have a title that insinuates his victory. Did you not watch the vid.? Watch it again, I recommend changing the title to something less Facist like.

  • Firstly, why assume I'm an atheist? thats an arrogant view if you ask me.

Secondly, fascist?? do explain. Because I agree with Dawkins and disagree with retard O'reilly I'm fascist?? GTFO, come back when you actually have an argument. And by argument I mean some sort of original thought, not just a mirror of what your good friends at fox tell you to think.

  • According to OReillys definition of fascism then, we must allow a lunatic, who believes in Poseidon, to be allowed equal time to present his theory of Poseidon controlling the seas, whenever a science teacher cannot answer a question about how the ocean works. How stupid is this? OReillys view of education will allow any myth to be introduced as an explanation.

  • Dawkins final point is something that, unfortunately, has to be repeated over and over again to these Creationist numb skulls. The inability of science to answer something IS NOT PROOF OF SOMETHING ELSE. It is not proof that God did it, or the tooth fairy did it, or the Easter bunny did it. Our lack of understanding of something only proves that we lack understanding; not that a made up alternative is more plausible.

  • (continued from previous post) Also, someone needs to tell OReilly that the free market system he loves so much would not comply with Jesus demands for unconditional wealth redistribution. Much of the advancements we have made in technology, medicine and agriculture could only have occurred because of the selfish profit motive of certain entrepreneurs. So OReillys world, according to Jesus, wouldnt be as nice as he thinks.

  • (continued from the previous post)Some things Jesus said, in fact, were downright harmful, such as the idea that divorce is not permissible expect in the area of pornea (in Greek it means sexual impropriety), thus not allowing divorce in the case of physical abuse or neglect. He stayed silent on the issue of slavery, and allowed Paul, his most vocal proponent, to condone it (continued).

  • Bill OReillys point about Jesus advancing moral thought is irrelevant. This is exactly what conservative pundits do time and time again. Since they dont have the intellectual merits to address an issue like evolution directly, they seek to obfuscate the issue by going on tangents that are not germane to the issue at hand. Furthermore, the issue of Jesus actually advancing moral thought is a bit questionable, because nothing Jesus said was all that original (continued).

  • Someone needs to explain to Bill O'Reilly and his credulous flock of religious followers that saying that God "did it" isn't anymore of an explanation than saying that a magic goblin stole your car, when you can't find your car in the parking lot. God has no explanatory value. Mentioning his name to explain something is an admission of ignorance. For something to be called an explanation, it must describe HOW a phenomenon occurred. Intelligent Design/Creationism doesnt do this.

  • Those that try to shout over others have already lost the argument

  • "And you Bill, are a shining example of the wonderful influence that Christianity has on society."

    HILARIOUS AHAHAH

  • excellent work with the added commentary, thanks for your efforts in sharing this video, take care

  • "Will you listen to me and stop shouting at me" - lol, nice going Dawkins. Loved it. Heh. Bill's such a twisted-logic arse. The last argument was right on the money.

And facism? Heh, that's science, if science is fascistic to you... what can you say, really?

  • What doesn't Bill get about only teaching science in science classes? Does he think teachers are saying, "this is how evolution works, and by the way, God does not exist" ?

  • yeah thats basically what he's trying to say.

  • By that logic evolution and the big bang theory should be taught in religious studies.

  • Religion should be taught in religious studies, and science should be taught in science class its that simple really. I don't think BillO can understand that simple concept though.

  • No It would seem not. Sad realy
